Dear All
One of the most sickening sights on the international scene is ‘Blair for hire’.
Ex Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair, the ‘friend’ of the rich and famous touts himself around the world making introductions between world leaders and money men.
These days Tony Blair is on an 'African' quest, his mission to promote Paul Kagame, the president of the African state of Rwanda.
The West wants to invest in Rwanda and as such they have taken to buttering up Kagame.
To the extent that human rights abusing Glasgow University issued him with a degree in 2007.

Then Principal, Scotch pervert Sir Muir Russell said:
“Paul Kagame is the central figure in the rebirth of Rwanda and he is one of the most impressive leaders in Africa. He preaches a doctrine of security, guided reconciliation, anti-corruption, and above all a drive toward self-reliance that he hopes will free his country from its heavy dependence on foreign aid.“I am delighted that he chose to speak at our university and has accepted our offer of an honorary degree.”
Muir Russell covered up institutional bullying, discrimination, harassment, malpractice and criminal fraud.

Professor Peter Holmes, Chair of the University’s Centre for International Development who also covered up fraud said at the time:
“The presidency of Paul Kagame has been characterised by major reforms and very significant progress through a commitment to democracy, women’s rights, the ending of the death sentence, the development of close diplomatic relations with Britain and economic development”.
On the subject of women’s rights, specifically Rwanda’s leading female journalists, Agnes Nkusi Uwimana.
She has been sentenced to 17 years in prison.
Her crime, publishing critical articles in the run-up to the Country’s blatantly fixed presidential elections last August. That saw Kagame waltz back into public office with a 93 per cent majority.
Human rights abusing Glasgow University supporting human rights abuse again?
Another writer on her paper was jailed for seven years.

Meanwhile, their paper was summarily closed down by presidential order.
Human rights abusing Glasgow University supporting human rights abuse again?
Dictatorial Paul Kagame has now closed down all the independent media outlets the country once had.
Human rights abusing Glasgow University supporting human rights abuse again?
In June, the acting editor of another newspaper was shot in the face and killed. The journalist, Jean-Leonard Rugambage, was silenced because he exposed corruption allegedly involving Kagame.
And Glasgow University awarded Kagame an honorary degree in 2007!
What do human rights abusing Glasgow University and Tony Blair have in common?
They both back despots and are always on the wrong side.
In October, the United Nations published a damning 550-page report which detailed the mass rape and torture of Hutu civilians after the Tutsi army, led by Kagame.
Witnesses to the atrocities claim there were ritual beheadings, while women and children were set alight, bludgeoned with hammers and shot.
The UN has said that Kagame may face trial for war crimes.
And Glasgow University awarded Kagame an honorary degree in 2007!
Will human rights abusing Glasgow University revoke the honorary degree?
No!
Kagame is still the West’s ‘friend’.
Yours sincerely
