Dear All
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far
away!!!!
The Beatles!
I just thought I would put that in for a
laugh and to amuse myself.
Leaving that aside since I am not musical, ‘yesterday’ Scotland’s
unpopular Deputy First Minster Nicola Sturgeon was demanding that David Cameron
go head to head with Alex Salmond.
She got the answer from Number 10, ‘go away
angry wee Nat, read the letter sent, it says No’!
It seems that Nicola isn’t a young dynamic
force except to her own nasty vile clique of trash.
In the Big Wide world:
“Arsehole”!......... women of Govan.
Nigel Farage is a different kettle of fish, his star is on the rise and his party Ukip represents a credible threat to both Cameron and Ed Miliband.
Nigel Farage is a different kettle of fish, his star is on the rise and his party Ukip represents a credible threat to both Cameron and Ed Miliband.
You see, Nigel Farage has turned Ukip into
a people’s party, whether you are rich or poor, Nigel has something for you.
His big pitch is of course towards the working class and the disenfranchised.
Anyway, now that unpopular Nicola couldn’t ‘setup
a date’; Alex Salmond has stepped up his demand for a televised head-to-head
referendum debate with David Cameron as well.
A man who is married to a woman old enough
to be his mother wants to debate with David Cameron and lower the indignity and
Office of the Prime Minister.
Can’t happen, no one has any time for a
politically dying man such as Salmond, people have things to do, places to be
and David Cameron has a country to run, Alex Salmond doesn’t run a country, he
runs a Scottish Executive.
Unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola
Sturgeon has accused Mr Cameron of snubbing Scotland, as others have rightly
commented, Alex Salmond isn’t Scotland.
He is a clown, he is a buffoon he is a
fool, a stupid greedy little man of no importance who got where he did by
opportunism.
Well opportunity isn’t knocking for him
regarding independence.
Sturgeon’s take that the SNP are entitled
to a share of Cameron’s times is just fanciful, and in the Westminster debates,
being drawn up as a "2-3-5" plan, Alex Salmond isn’t getting an
invite there either.
The SNP has 6 MPs, (part time British region).
Under proposals still to be hashed out, Cameron
will cross swords with Ed Miliband, he would then do a double atking on
Miliband and Nick Clegg.
And to show democracy in action or
preference a third debate would feature the three main party leaders plus Ukip
leader Nigel Farage and Greens leader Natalie Bennett.
Even a Green Party leader would get a seat
at the ‘top table’ but no Alex Salmond. This has led to SNP clique anger, in
the run-up to the 2010 election the SNP failed in a legal bid to block a BBC
debate between then-Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Mr Cameron and Mr Clegg from
being shown in Scotland. You remember them asking for £50,000 to mount the
legal challenge? The Court threw that case out because it had no merit, the SNP
aren’t a UK wide party; they can never form a government.
As I have previously said, there is a genuine
lack of talent in the SNP, it was a protest movement that became a political
party and now is a vicious nasty vile clique under Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon.
The SNP said its priority was to secure a
referendum debate between Salmond and Cameron that will never happen, there is
nothing to gain for Cameron in this, Alex Salmond’s fight is with ordinary
working class Scots who have turned away from his poisonous vision of a fascist
state headed up by him as the ‘jolly fat man’.
No thank you.
Sturgeon, said:
"It's astonishing that David Cameron
is happy to have a head-to-head debate with Nigel Farage - whose party doesn't
have a single seat in the House of Commons - but continues to run scared of a
debate on the future of Scotland with First Minister Alex Salmond. We now know
he is happy to debate with the leader of Ukip, who constantly lose their
election deposits in Scotland, but is not willing to debate with Scotland's
democratically elected First Minister. That begs the question: what is he
afraid of. It was reported that the Prime Minister is to visit Scotland more
often over the next few months in order to campaign for a No vote. Why on earth
is he not happy to publicly debate his position? Given he is now happy to
debate with a wide range of politicians in England, the Prime Minister should
stop snubbing Scotland."
It isn’t fear Nicola, it is utter contempt
for you people, you are now reaping what you have sown; even your own SNP supporters
won’t come out for you.
Coalition Government source said:
"Nothing has changed. The referendum
is a debate between Scots with differing views on what is best for Scotland.
The TV debates should be between people with a vote - that means Alistair
Darling and Alex Salmond."
Now Alex Salmond will have to go cap in
hand and try and set up a debate with Alistair Darling who might decide to
simply refuse to debate Salmond and then the SNP will be further starved of
oxygen.
In another piece of grudge, grievance and
malcontent, the SNP started another row accusing the Scottish Tories of
planning to "drown out Scotland's voice at Westminster."
Professor Adam Tomkins, an adviser to the
Scots Tories' devolution commission wrote on his blog about what he called Scotland's
"over-representation" in the Commons.
He says that would have to be tackled if
the Scottish Parliament assumed significant new powers.
I would say that the Tories in Westminster
will not reduce the number of Scottish MPs, Tomkins is floating a pig in a poke,
I doubt even Ruth Davidson would climb onboard with this one since it would
further restrict the Scottish Tories of having a ‘comeback’….. not under the
present Tory set up, they are in the wilderness until they grow up.
Scotland as 59 MPs, you could argue that
rather than 59, we should have 65.
As to Alex Salmond’s call for a head to
head with Cameron, it makes him weak this constant begging, it shows how utter desperate
Salmond is to be publicly calling for this, he is a busted flush, he lost the
good will of the people and on the 18th September 2014, a tsunami of
Scottish people will hit the polling stations.
The 19th September will see a
lot of unhappy Nationalists waking up to the reality of they got conned by Salmond
and Sturgeon.
Conned right from the start, the SNP isn’t
a political party it is a clique, a party within a party that doesn’t represent
Scots.
Alex Salmond is Scotland’s public shame!
Yours sincerely
