Dear All
What an interesting place Holyrood would be if George Galloway was elected.
George Galloway has had a colourful history in politics and is a formidable force despite being on the political fringe.
He is beyond a doubt a great speaker and Holyrood lacks gravitas with most MSPs being poor quality, invisible, lazy or incompetent.

And some are liars!
Since his defeat at the Westminster election where he failed to secure the nearby Poplar and Limehouse seat in London's East End as a Respect party candidate, he has been out of frontline politics.
In order for the Dundee-born Scot to get elected he will need 5% of the total Glasgow vote which is about 10,000 and 15,000 votes.
He became a star in America when he went before a US Senate Committee and literally ripped them a new ass.
This quote is well remembered:
“Senator, I am not now, nor have I ever been, an oil trader, and neither has anyone on my behalf. I have never seen a barrel of oil, owned one, bought one, sold one - and neither has anyone on my behalf. Now I know that standards have slipped in the last few years in Washington, but for a lawyer you are remarkably cavalier with any idea of justice. I am here today but last week you already found me guilty. You traduced my name around the world without ever having asked me a single question, without ever having contacted me, without ever written to me or telephoned me, without any attempt to contact me whatsoever. And you call that justice”.
So, could George Galloway win the required amount of votes to gain a Holyrood seat, I think it is possible if he presents himself properly to the electorate.
However, I still like his epic victory over ex Labour MP Oona King who is truly the worst type of sycophant I have ever seen in politics.
When she lost the battle to be London Mayoral candidate I cheered.
I would like to see George Galloway get elected to Holyrood on the Glasgow list.
As he said:
"My friends don't think it's beyond me. Neither do I. What about you?"
I think it is a runner, I will blog more on this if he does stand.
Yours sincerely
George Laird

Mr. Laird,
'People’s Champion George Galloway may stand on Glasgow Regional List for Holyrood, is Glasgow finally to get a ‘big political beast’ in the City?'
What about Nicola Sturgeon isn't she on your radar? She is after all Deputy First Minister, Health Secretary and Govan MSP.
Mr. Galloway has a very tidy gaff in Portugal. This was from the proceeds of a legal thingie with some newspaper in Englandshire. The preferred method of payment for services rendered.
Things are not always as they seem.
I will give him credit for highlighting electoral fraud in Bethnal Green.
I like Portugal
The London Establishment ponce masquerading as a 'Pop Act', Cliff Richard likes Portugal as well.
