Dear All
Number 10 is saying that talks between them and the Lib Dems have not reached a positive conclusion.
That means there are now two options left, either the Lib Dems join the Tories or the Tories form a minority government.
Apparently Clegg and Cable are onboard for joining the Tories but Paddy Ashdown and Sir Menzies Campbell are "holding them back”.
Is getting in power more important than getting PR for the Lib Dems?
Ashdown and Campbell are right; they have to secure the future of the new politics first.
Otherwise, they have just sold out for baubles and trinkets.
Yours sincerely
