Dear All
The verdict is in on the brother of shadow chancellor George Osborne.
Dr. Adam Osborne is guilty of misleading and dishonest behaviour.
Osborne was found guilty at a medical disciplinary panel of falsifying the name of a cocaine-addicted friend on a prescription he handed to hospital staff.
So, is he to be struck off?
I think the answer is no.
Why?
Because members of the panel said charges of misleading and dishonest behaviour in relation to the second prescription were not proved.
And there is an incoming Tory Government and the panel members need to focus on that.
As I previously hinted I don’t think Osborne will be put to the sword and struck off.
There will be some sort of sanction but Osborne has protection.
It never occurred to me that Osborne would be struck off even although the press alluded to this course of action as a possible measure.
I expect him to be sanctioned over his ability to prescribe drugs.
There maybe some other titbits thrown in to pad it out and make it look meaningful but that’s it.

The verdict in my opinion is in, he stays on the medical register.
Nothing really changes in corrupt Britain.
The formal sentence is expected later this week.
If anyone is interested....... in a short in window dressing and smoke and mirrors.
Yours sincerely
