The Madeleine McCann Case, why wasn’t Madeleine’s bedding 'contaminated' by Cuddlecat which was keying off a death odour as she slept with it?

Dear All

In the main, I think people should be grateful that Wikileaks exists; it has exposed some terrible injustices covered up the political classes and others.

But when information is placed into the public domain, judgement should also be used because the key test must be, is it in the public interest?

Information dumping by Wikileaks is a bit irresponsible; everything is on display all at once with little thought to the public interest test.

As well as the military stuff and coms between various individuals about certain people and places, a telegram from the North American embassy has popped up on the horizon which concerns Team McCann.

It allegedly says that English Police have presented evidence that led to Gerry and Kate McCann being made arguidos.

One of things which I keep coming back to in the Madeleine Case is CuddleCat.

When the Forensic dogs were brought in, the dog Eddie alerted to the scent of a corpse in the following places:

1/ the living room,
2/ the McCanns’ bedroom,
3/ the veranda
4/ the garden of their holiday apartment,
5/ on two of Dr Kate McCann’s clothes, on a T-shirt belonging to Madeleine or brother Sean.
6/ on the pink soft toy, ‘Cuddle Cat’ (despite the fact that Dr Kate McCann had already washed Cuddle Cat at least once)

As we know from this article, a Police source was quoted as saying:

"When Kate tucked Madeleine up in bed earlier in the evening she had the toy tightly in her arms as she did every night".

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-474844/Madeleines-favourite-Cuddle-Cat-toy-placed-reach.html

So why didn’t Cuddlecat contaminate Madeleines’ bed when Madeleine was asleep and sweating?

Remember she had ‘the toy tightly in her arms as she did every night’.

Cuddlecat is in a static location with her sweating for several hours through-out the night and no contamination of the bed sheets and pillow.

So, who told the Police source that Cuddlecat was held tight every night in Portugal?

Was it Kate or Gerry McCann?

With Wikileaks cable renewing interest in the Madeleine McCann Case, Lawyer for them Rogério Alves says that there is no new data in the documents that would justify the reopening of the process.

And the McCann’s lawyer goes further in a statement saying he opposes the reopening of the inquiry into the disappearance of Madeleine in Lagos, in the Algarve, in 2007.

Rogério Alves said:

“That information is completely useless. It only contains a reference to a piece of evidence that the Public Ministry and the Polícia Judiciária (PJ) considered to be totally useless, which consisted of a couple of dogs that having barked, but being naturally unable to depose in a court room, would constitute some sort of indication against the child’s parents”.

Adding:

“To open the process, yes, when that contributes to finding out where the child is and what happened to her, [but] to open the process, no, when it is to review what was already seen by the PJ and by the Public Ministry, that correctly considered those indications to be absurd and inconsistent. nobody in a democratic state can be taken to court based on dogs’ barking. That is absurd.”

Maybe in a democratic state, the lack of contamination of Madeleine McCann’s bedding is something which the Portuguese Police should look at.

I would say that there is a case for reopening the Madeleine McCann Case again and bringing in fresh eyes to go through every document, statement, report, article and interview by all those who have a connection, in parallel with the people who did the original investigation.

Both Kate and Gerry McCann’s should be returned to Portugal to answer questions, there are 48 outstanding and the list is growing.

I am sure that people would still like justice for Madeleine McCann.

Yours sincerely

There was no cross-contamination from Cuddlecat because (a) Madeleine, whilst dead, had cuddled the cat in a different location, and (b) Madeleine had died on 28 April, the first day of the "holiday", and never slept in that bed. Time, and place.

One query,madeleine alway slept with
her favourite toy "cuddlecat",why did the abductor take just the child.
& leave the "comfort" toy behind. This
Profiles the type of abductor or
Person/s who took Madeleine.

Just find madeleine and take her back to her loving family and her siblings xx

An excellent article, full of common sense. And at last, it looks as thought the Portuguese have enough evidence - certainly to reopen the case, perhaps to convict the McCanns.

What proof is there that she was abducted, and why is this line if enquiry being persued when there has been so many discrepancies in statements and refusals to answer so many questions relating to Madeline's disappearance?

Nothing adds up to an abduction.
