Labour MP Anne Moffat gets no help after Labour NEC throw her on the scrapheap, it's all over now, career ends in total disgrace

Dear All

The last gasp chance of Labour MP Anne Moffat hanging on to her seat has finally ended.

Like General George Armstrong Custer standing alone in the middle of savage Labour Activists attacks, she has been done up like a kipper by the Labour Party’s National Executive Committee (NEC).

They have upheld the 130 to 59 vote decision to terminate her with extreme prejudice.

Now, the race is on to find a new candidate for the constituency with a General Election campaign only weeks away.

Moffat appears to be the architect of her own misfortunes having not attended a constituency meeting for two years and it is the activists who play such an important part in keeping an MP elected.

A Labour Party spokesman said;

"The NEC discussed the issue of East Lothian CLP's prospective parliamentary candidate and after considering all the issues, including representations from Anne Moffat, the NEC resolved that local Labour Party members' decision to select a new candidate should stand."

I get the sense they couldn’t care less myself.

The spokesman added;

"We will now move quickly to selecting a new candidate. As with all seats, consideration will be given to whether it will be an all-woman shortlist. We anticipate that the process will start imminently."

So, finally ends the career of Anne Moffat defeated by a relentless campaign by activists and the silence of the 'East Coast Weasel' Labour MSP Iain Gray.

People power at work and a big party of celebration in East Lothian tonight.

Yours sincerely

Dear Mxyzptlk

May I recommend 'They died with boots on', movie starring Errol Flynn to you.

It's a good ripping yarn.

How do you stand on this Labour bullying business stated by her?

For or against?

And of course, Labour's discriminatory female only list.

Need to know.

Yours sincerely
