Pentagon chief raises threat of attack as Iran taunts US with missile display; it's going to be war soon but maybe not a land campaign

Dear All

I think we can safely say that at some point in the future the US is going to launch a military strike on Iran.

As to whether there will be a land campaign that is in doubt but I feel such a campaign is unlikely in the near future.

Afghanistan and Iraq has tied up too many men; materials and other resources.

Iran is in the process of building an atomic bomb which is why they are producing weapons grade uranium.

Despite repeated requests the Iranians are continuing their uranium enrichment programme.

So, the West has to issue them with a deadline to stop.

If they fail to comply then a nuclear facility must be destroyed by US missiles.

They would then be given another deadline, failure to comply with that and every nuclear facility in Iran would be targeted and destroyed.

Nuclear Iran means nuclear war.

So, that is the elephant in the room for President Barack Obama.

He can nip this in the bud now or wait till Iran launches a nuclear strike.

Either way people will die, going early will save lives.

At present the Americans don’t seem to have a game plan other than new economic sanctions against the business interests of the Republican Guard.

It’s going to be war at some future date, not if but when.

The Pentagon is moving hundreds of bunker-buster bombs to Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. This latest version of the weapon, known as the Massive Ordnance Penetrator weighs 15 tonnes and be capable of burrowing through 200ft of reinforced concrete before exploding.

It seems that some people are already gearing up.

Yours sincerely
