Labour MSP Wendy Alexander fights the battle for Garl, that engagement ended with victory for the SNP Government, someone should have woke her up

Dear All

‘When there is no more room in hell the dead will walk the earth’.

On that front the politically dead Labour MSP Wendy Alexander has surfaced to talk rubbish.

She wants the Glasgow Airport Rail Link reinstated.

Wendy Alexander is a joke politician, she is the Paisley ‘Tommy Sheridan’; someone’s whose political career has completely died.

Like a fish pulled out of the water, she just flaps about the place making noise.

At Holyrood as MSPs debated the SNP administration’s economic recovery plan yesterday, Labour MSP Wendy Alexander said the Government had benefited from a windfall of around £100 million from Westminster and should have reviewed its decision to scrap the project.

Scottish Government decisions are not determined by knee jerk policies.

This led to a scrap with SNP Finance Secretary John Swinney who had to point out the obvious to her!

Garl is not just a 12-month project.

As part of her argument she said;

“Every single business organisation in Scotland has called for this decision to be reversed”.

Even corner shops?

Is this the level of debate we can expect from her, wild claims?

Yes, Labour supporting organisations have supported the Labour Party but the Scottish Government has to look at the wider picture.

It can’t spend money it doesn’t have.

Is Labour MSP Wendy Alexander calling for cuts to frontline services?

Where does she want the cuts?

SNP Minister John Swinney said the money is being used to support employment and boost the economy.

So, it is the case she wants deckchairs shuffled on the Titanic to fit a Labour Party model of recovery.

John Swinney continued;

“Funding will be allocated to projects which are ready to be delivered, producing an immediate boost to demand, and to increase the Government’s purpose of increasing sustainable economic growth.”

Labour MSP Wendy Alexander should go back to her trendy west gym which she uses during the working week and figure out what front line services she wants cut and then have the debate in Holyrood.

How unfortunate that the people of Paisley North have her as an MSP.

Wendy Alexander lost again, some track record of delivery she has.

Yours sincerely
