Labour MP Jim Murphy gets hysterial about Tories as 'goofy' Tory Richard Cook looks set to take East Renfrewshire from him

Dear All

Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy is attacking the Tories in Scotland.

Why would you bother?

Scotland hates Tories.

I would suspect this is probably because of the Tory threat to his plumy seat in Newton Mearns.

The Tories are coming on strong in East Renfrewshire; you can imagine his fevered brow as the Voters desert him, dripping in cold sweat.

The sleepless nights as he desperately scrambles for volunteers to work for him!

It doesn’t look good for Murphy at all.

So, we have him making a spectacle of himself attacking Tory economic policies and calling the General Election a two-horse race.

The reality is he really wants to attack his Tory rival Richard Cook who polled 14,000 plus in 2005.

The man whose name he can’t say.

In trying to help us simple minded folk understand, Murphy said;

"In the Aintree Grand National there are dozens of runners and riders, but in the General Election there are only two parties in with any chance of winning. It's a two-horse race: It's Gordon Brown and the Labour Party versus David Cameron and the Tory Party."

Unless there is a hung Parliament then both horses will be subject to a steward’s inquiry.

Murphy said that the Tories will cause "untold damage" to Scotland.

What more than the Glasgow Labour Party has done in Glasgow?

Murphy has lost the momentum and could soon lose his seat, I guess that is why he keeps positioning himself with the ‘East Coast Weasel’ Iain Gray, Murphy will be looking to Holyrood as second chance to have a political career.

Losing your seat is upsetting for anyone but to lose your seat to ‘goofy’ Richard Cook would make Murphy a laughing stock.

Don’t we need our ‘Portillo’ moment during this Scottish Election?

I wouldn’t say vote Tory because I am Scottish but I will say I look forward to Murphy getting slotted.

Yours sincerely

And so say all of us.
