Ashgil Recreation Centre celebrates community victory as people take back their community centre taken over by Lyons Crime Family funded by Labour

Dear All

Let us be absolutely clear.

When the people of Glasgow North East were forced out of the Chirnsyde Community Centre because it was taken over by the Lyons Crime family, it was Billy McAllister and the SNP that fought and won it back for the people.

The Labour Party run by the Martin family in Glasgow North East did nothing.

After the SNP got the centre closed and the gangsters kicked out, they then worked to have the centre reopened and returned to the community.

Now, there is a day of celebration being held at the reopened Ashgil Community Centre in Milton as the people get it back.

Speaking ahead of the official opening ceremony Bob Doris MSP, SNP MSP for Glasgow said;

"Back in 2006 I was election agent for SNP Councillor Billy McAllister in the local Milton by election. We stood in that election on a ticket of law and order and transforming the Chirnsyde Community Initiative into a facility where the local community felt safe to attend. We won that election”.

The centre renamed the Ashgil Recreation Centre will now be a valuable resource to help the people and kids of that area enjoy themselves in safety.

Something that the Labour Party where eventually forced into, kicking and screaming all the way.

Another example of Glasgow SNP delivering for the people of Glasgow, just part of the service for voting in local champions!

We need more SNP local champions to do more work; May 6 is the opportunity to elect a full time MP dedicated to addressing the people’s needs.

Yours sincerely
