The War on Weight claims major casualty as floor collapses during weightwatcher's session

Dear All

Weightwatchers are a well known slimming club; you could say a brand leader.

But they could cut a bit of fat out of the organisation.

If they had then the floor might not have collapsed beneath a group of about 20 members as they gathered to compare how many pounds they had shed over Christmas.

Hopefully no one was hurt and they saw the funny side of the situation.

Members of the weight-loss club were lining up like a row of little ducks to compare readings on the scales.

Suddenly without warning they heard a bang as the floor came away from the walls of their meeting room.

A member said;

“We suddenly heard a huge thud - we almost thought it was an earthquake and everything flew up in the air. The floor collapsed in one corner of the room and along the walls.”

Having seen the writing on the wall, they prompted abandoned ship.

The weightin continued in a nearby corridor and the scales were not damaged.

So, they continue with the ‘battle of the bulge’, one set of premises has been destroy but they can rebuild.

Using stronger building materials.

So, no one hurt; happy ending!

Yours sincerely
