Russian ambassador to Turkey killed in Ankara shooting attack

Dear All

The Russian ambassador to Turkey has been killed by a lone gunman.

It is a terrible tragic event, the shooter is said to have screamed "Allahu Akbar.

In a recent  blog post you will have noticed that I returned to a minor theme that politicians would find themselves on the front line.

This appears to have happened to ambassador  Andrei Karlov.

"I would suggest that the history of killing European leaders may become vogue in Europe again".

Isn't it amazing that I manage to see how things are going to pan out well before others, if you stand back you really can see how it is all slipping away as we head towards a possible state of 'civil war'.

The gunman is dead, shot and killed by Turkish Police, one can only wonder how this tragic event will be viewed by the Russian public.

Yours sincerely
