Unpopular First Minister Nicola Sturgeon says that the SNP plan to vote on English matters, having run a technically bad indyref campaign operationally, the unionists need to tell Sturgeon that there will be no deals, no coalition and no talks, why be stupid and fall for the SNP ploy to let them stoke up resentment on "English Votes for English Laws" from within.

Firstly, happy New Year, sorry I am rather late in getting that out, but better late than never.

Secondly, I have been rather quiet on the blogging and twitter front of late, the reason is I am seriously ill, in December, I was emergency admitted to hospital. Being in hospital is certainly an experience I don’t wish on anyone.

I was very lucky as for the most part the staff were great as was my GP who effectively saved my life, I was dying; my internal organs were all shutting down and I was in agony.

I have since been stablised and ordered to take it easy; I am still not out of the woods yet.

That being said, I have missed out on what has been going on for the last three months, anyway back to blogging, but just for today.

Kenny MacAskill has been sacked as Justice Minister, I said this should happen; unpopular Nicola Sturgeon is only two years behind me.

Mike Russell has been sacked as Education Minister, I also said this should happen; unpopular Nicola Sturgeon is only two years behind me there also.

Both of these incompetents had to be fired, so, George Laird right again, the first ‘George Laird right again’ of 2015.

Now, onto current, SNP MPs will vote on English health matters in the next parliament, while in the SNP, I spoke out that SNP MPs should be playing a full and proper role in the Westminster Parliament.

Now, the SNP has came round to the George Laird view but for the wrong reasons.

Unpopular Nicola Sturgeon, yet again, years behind George Laird thinking, this U turn by the SNP isn’t about doing the right thing in the interest of English patients; it is all about positioning her party for a possible deal to prop up a minority Labour government.

I seriously doubt Ed Miliband would offer a deal as it seems highly unlikely and would undermined Scottish Labour.

Westminster parties cannot and should not enter into any deals with the SNP, although they might consider this as a short term fix, in the long term, it would be storing up trouble on both sides of the border.

The independence campaign will be remembered for the defeat of Scotland’s ‘jolly fat man’ Alex Salmond, but also for the anti English campaign which was run in Scotland. One should ask if as the Nationalists claim everything is the fault of the English, then why are they voting with them?

The SNP need a deal from any unionist party to try and push for devo max by holding a gun to Westminster’s head!

This election in 2015 could be very difficult for the unionist parties as they are all  acting like losers.

Labour voted in Jim Murphy, he is supposed to be a new broom, but Labour needs more than someone who drinks irn bru and can stand on a couple of plastic crates.

People need a vote reason to vote Labour, Murphy’s 100 day tour was great for him in terms of publicity for him, but in the wider sense, it done nothing, the people of Scotland won the Scottish independence debate not Jim Murphy.

When he and others wake up to that reality, maybe they will get their act together, a bad election in 2015, will be the precursor of an even worse one in 2016.

Opinion polls at present look bad for unionist parties, and in particular the Labour Party who stand to lose seats.

Perhaps Team Murphy will have to find out the hard way that ‘gimmicks’ don’t works and also that the New Labour revival plans will really died a painful death at the ballot box if they think business as usual.

Scots Tory leader Ruth Davidson who may not have a single MP after the 2015 election said:

"The SNP had previously taken a principled stance on this matter but it now seems principle goes out the window if it means stitching together a coalition deal with Labour

"We need to be clear - the price of that SNP deal would be to put our defences at risk and tear up the stable tax and spend system which keeps Britain's economy secure.

"It also risks letting independence in by the back door."

Although the SNP were defeated at the indyref, what we should all remember is that they didn’t work very well together. Better Together ran an operational poor campaign on the ground.

In simple terms it was like they couldn’t give a rat’s arse, well now they are paying for it, as to the Smith Commission, that was a betrayal of Scots who vote No.

Well done the Tories….. not!

Yes, that really was non strategic thinking, Professor Adam Tomkins spoke of the hell of that campaign, well, does he has transport because he and others might be making a return visit.

The SNP aren’t interested in helping English people, this really comes down to a ploy to stoke up resentment to fuel demands for "English Votes for English Laws".

Wakey wakey people, collectively the unionist parties should jointly say in an official statement there will be no deals with the SNP prior to the 2015 election.

Make the SNP what they really are irrelevant.

Oh and again sorry for being away so long, which I have to do so again, back in about two weeks hopefully.
