Gordon Brown's Labour stasi will take care of the traitor Geoff Hoon as he now faces possible de-selection by members

Dear All

It seems that Former minister Geoff Hoon could face a vote of no confidence from his constituency party.

The price of treason is hefty as the worker ants of Labour attack the man being ‘Hoongate’ to show they devoted loyalty to the ‘great leader’ Gordon Brown.

After a meeting of the Labour Party members in his seat of Ashfield, Hoon found the temperature in the meeting as cold as the Siberia winter.

Hoon can be surprised that he wasn’t seen and carried on the shoulders of the masses; after all it was a failed coup.

In trying to put a brave face on the proceedings; Hoon said that he had some supportive comments.

Didn’t Tory MP Andrew Mackay say much the same thing?

Now, there is talk about activists tabling a motion of no confidence in him as their MP, so we can be fairly sure that ‘the mob’ will be baying for blood and possibly won’t support his re-election campaign.

Activists are important as they are the ones that promote the party actively in the community, delivering leaflets, going street work, supporting campaigns etc.

They apparently didn’t think that Hoon done enough of the sack cloth and ashes in saying he was sorry for attacking Brown in the run up to the General Election.

A defiant Hoon told the meeting that he is remaining as the candidate for the next election, so the activists want a pitch battle so close to the election?

Hoon quipped in a reply to Ashfield District Council leader John Knight saying activists were "shocked and disappointed", that Labour "thrives on political debate".

Hoon added;

"He's entitled to his view and I'm entitled to mine."

Very much a get it right up you.

As to the traitor Hewitt, she is untouchable, she is stepping down anyway so has nothing to lose.

Hoon is still sticking to him not regreting sending a letter to all Labour MPs calling for a vote on the issue of Brown’s leadership.

So, the knives are out for Hoon; I expect a drip drip effect campaign painting him as a bad MP.

From ‘hero to zero’ in less than 24 hours!

His mistake was forgetting that there is no such thing as loyalty in the modern Labour Party.

Something Brown will be finding out after his defeat at the General Election.

The clock is ticking.

Yours sincerely
