Labour MSP Iain Gray's bottle crashes at Holyrood budget debate, more humilation for the incompetent fool

Dear All

The Labour Party great choo choo ride of Glasgow (GARL) has firmly hit the buffers, unusual location because it happened in the Holyrood Parliament.

London Labour’s man in Scotland, MSP Iain Gray at the controls faced further humiliation as yet again Labour tactics were exposed as incompetent and deceitful.

The Labour Group led by Iain Gray of Holyrood’s ‘wretched 46’ had an opportunity to put forward proposals to reinstate the project.

Their bottle crashed.

They also could have asked the Parliament to reject the budget both commitments they had made to the people of Glasgow.

Both commitments reneged, the Labour mice despite roaring about standing up for Glasgow stayed with their traps fully shut.

SNP MSP Bob Doris said;

"Labour has deceived the people of Glasgow and played games with Scotland’s budget. In the current climate no one will welcome their empty gestures and broken promises over serious spending commitments”.

The sad fact of life is that the money to fund GARL can only come from cutting other programmes.

Is a new £842 million pound hospital at Southern General more important than the rail link?

If you think about, hospital 365 days a year, 24/7 serving 110,000 a year or a train line that a person from Glasgow might use twice a year, if that!

Who has the correct priorities?

People come first with the SNP Government.

For Iain Gray, this fiasco is another item in a long history of policy mistakes that makes him look like an inept fool.

Andy Kerr, the Labour King in wait is sitting waiting for the weight of Gray’s incompetence to reach the tipping point and the call goes out for a new leader.

Iain Gray’s stupidity is the greatest tool in Andy Kerr’s arsenal for coronation.

Yours sincerely
