Tory Millionaire George Osborne can't count when claiming taxpayers money for himself, Chancellor material, I think not

Dear All

The most sickening statements of the Westminister MP scandal are that they all claim to have acted in ‘error’ and ‘good faith’.

The next life raft, they use is trying to pass the buck to the Commons authorities.

George Osborne is the subject of a complaint over his Parliamentary expenses lodged at Parliament's standards commissioner by a Labour Activist.

The complaint centres round Osborne over claiming on a mortgage for his second home.

George Osborne is Tory Shadow Chancellor and therefore should know money and certainly the difference between his actual mortgage of £445,000 and claiming for one at £450,000.

Commissioner for Standards John Lyon found that Mr Osborne had breached Commons rules.

In other words, guilty of over claiming!

Guilty!

Now, Osborne’s case goes before the cross-party standards and privileges committee to see if he will face sanction.

Given this committee is a farce; I expect him to told to repay the money but not to be directed to make a formal apology to the House of Commons.

MPs sitting in judgement of another MP are a complete nonsense, it’s the old boy network, ‘you protect me and I will protect you’.

And there are others with worse offences still in the wings.

Slap on the wrist and he will walk.

So Osborne can’t count and this clown wants to be Chancellor!

Yours sincerely
