Broken Record: politically opportunist Henry McLeish trots out his tired old rhetoric that Scottish Labour must split from UK party, he cites Jeremy Corbyn wrecking chances of a election win, McLeish was pushing ‘home rule’ even before Corbyn became leader, someone should tell McLeish, we live in a digital age where his 'stories' are archived

Dear All

For quite some considerable time, Henry McLeish has been peddling the notion that Scottish Labour should split for the British Labour Party.

He has been doing this in print and turning up at numerous TV and radio shows to flog this idea, some people wrongly back it.

Scottish Labour has had some really bad election results over the last few years, in 2015; the Westminster election produced the worst result since 1918 for the party.

In 2016, the Scottish Labour Party not only lost the election, they got pushed into third place at Holyrood by the Conservatives who played a rather smart campaign.

The Scottish Conservatives backed the Union while some in the Scottish Labour Party tried to woo Labour voters who voted for the Nationalists.

Why did the Labour voters walk?

They did so because the Scottish Labour Party lost their trust, they weren’t being listened to and the continual failure to make things better in a real sense for those at the bottom was growing.

A huge part of 1.6 million Scots voted for independence because they saw that they didn’t have a future, not just for them but also for their children.

As part of Henry McLeish’s pitch he says Scottish Labour must split from UK party before Jeremy Corbyn wrecks chances of election win.

Jeremy Corbyn is not responsible for the decades of decline in Scotland for Labour; do you remember Jim Murphy and Co talking about deep seated problems?

How can any of that mess be laid at the door of Jeremy Corbyn when we think back to the 2007 election and the rapid decline at the 2011 Holyrood election blame should be assigned to those who ran bad campaigns!

So what happens if the Scottish Labour Party splits from the main party?

Will voters come flocking back to Scottish Labour because all their decisions will be made by people in Scotland?

No!

People aren’t that simple and easily fooled; what the voters want in a politician?

They want them to take care of things on an industrial scale and when they come to them with a problem they want that problem fixed.
And that is a huge part of Labour’s problem, in the past some people simply relied on the huge majority of the electorate and as such some elected politicians just fobbed people off when they came through the door. Over time resentment grew and when the tipping point was reached we had the Westminster 2015 result.

After that, denial seemed to be entrenched as the Holyrood 2016 election campaign showed where some candidates standing simply didn’t try hard enough, especially when they ranked high on the list.

Henry McLeish says Corbyn was "not the answer" to Labour's decline, so who exactly is, someone in Scotland not by intellect but by having an address here, is that a criteria that makes any sense?

What I suspect is going on is sometime which I have touched on the push towards federalism, this is being done quietly by the Tories under the Constitutional Reform Group.

It seems that the ‘elite’ are trying to get a groundswell for federalism and make it out as a populist uprising.

Federalism doesn’t solve the constitutional question in the United Kingdom at this present moment in time, because people aren’t buying into it yet.

Henry McLeish is effectively in bed with the Tories, and the SNP will come along for the ride later down the line and try and squeeze in as the people who ‘done all the running’, but the reality is that the SNP and Nicola Sturgeon are just pawns who have little influence on events.

In 2014, they lost the Scottish Independence referendum badly!

For Henry McLeish to use the "discontent and bitter infighting" of the current leadership election shows he is just an opportunist since he was pushing separate party long before this contest was even thought of.

McLeish said:

"Regardless of the out -come an Independent Labour Party in Scotland is essential. He also added an independent Scottish Labour Party could be a "sister party" of UK Labour, which, he warned, had become dominated by "the interests of London, Westminster and England".

I just see Henry McLeish as a cheerleader for Scottish independence and a useful idiot for the SNP who occasionally throw him a bone.

I don’t see the majority of the Scottish Labour Party willing to vote for a split, this is wishful thinking on his part.

A question which might be worth asking is, does Henry McLeish have the best interests of the Scottish Labour Party at heart?

At the present moment, there isn’t a government in waiting sitting on the Labour benches at Holyrood having been pushed into third place.

To show that Henry McLeish is using the Leadership contest to his own ends:

Read this article of 2014, Jeremy Corbyn wasn’t even the Labour leader at that time, clearly McLeish falls into the category of not being the cream of political talent in Scotland.

Benefits of the Union, Nicola Sturgeon’s illiberal human rights abusing legislation is declared unlawful by the UK Supreme Court, SNP Named Person scheme yet again demonstrates that Sturgeon and her feral SNP mob are a complete laughing stock, who is the SNP Minister for Stupid ideas?

Dear All

I said in the past on social media and on the blog, the SNP don’t do Law well.

And if look at what Alistair Bonnington former Honorary Professor of Law, Glasgow University said about unpopular Nicola Sturgeon, you can get an insight how bad the SNP leadership has developed into.

Bonnington said:

“I fear I must accept responsibility here. I taught Nicola Sturgeon when she was in law classes at Glasgow University. I seem to have failed to instill in her the most basic rules of how the institutions of government work in the free world. We tried to teach that a one-party government which tramples on the independence of the other arms of the state, and indeed the independence of its own members, is the very antithesis of true democracy. How sad that we failed”.

The Offensive Behaviour at Football Act is regarded a shining example of how the supposed talented SNP is anything but!

Now we have the next failure of note being brought to Court, the UK Supreme Court, judges have just issued a judgment that Scottish Government's Named Person scheme is 'unlawful'.

Have you the ability to analysis; you must wonder how the Scottish Government's Named Person scheme ever got passed the discussion stage, why didn’t they know it was unlawful, and morally dubious?

The SNP leadership like in a bubble, the bubble is generally referred to as the SNP Cult, no one gets to disagree, no one gets to have an opinion, and the lower Cult members are nothing more than drones to leadership collective.

It is a great decision that a supposed SNP ‘flagship’ government plan to assign a state-appointed figure to oversee the welfare of every child in Scotland has been blocked.

If anyone asks you for an example of what are the benefits of the Union, tell them the UK Supreme Court!

Judges said the proposals breach rights to privacy and a family life under the European Convention on Human Rights.

Any half decent first year law student could fathom that out, and another question worth throwing in Nicola Sturgeon’s face is “why do you want to keep the Human Rights Act 1998 when you clearly don’t and your government clearly don’t understand what the Act means in practice”?

I suppose we have to look again what Bonnington said:

“I taught Nicola Sturgeon when she was in law classes at Glasgow University. I seem to have failed to in-still in her the most basic rules of how the institutions of government work in the free world.”

Sturgeon doesn’t just surround herself with the ‘thick’ she also surrounds herself with the ugly, old tactic of the insecure to make them look better, Nicola Sturgeon is no mastermind, no genius, no high flying lawyer.

She is a political failure, a schemer and not a very good schemer as her recent barmy outbursts have demonstrated to the Scottish public.

Campaigners supporting the No to Named Persons (NO2NP) campaign were celebrating their £250,000 legal case succeeded in the UK’s highest court this morning, it is a victory for democracy, a victory for common sense, and another sorry tale of Sturgeon’s failure to grasp what government is all about.

What it isn’t; is an SNP plaything to abuse!

Liz Smith, the Tory education spokeswoman at Holyrood, said:

"Clearly we don’t know what the court judgment will be, but irrespective of the outcome l am sure the majority of parents still want to see the scheme dropped. So too do the growing number of practitioners who believe the policy is unworkable and taking far too much focus away from our most vulnerable children. It is a deeply unpopular, illiberal policy which has become a real headache for the SNP. The First Minister should swallow her pride and end it now."

Nicola Sturgeon, the famous ‘tampax’ campaigner should outsource her barmy ideas and get the life outside the bubble view, clearly she has become a laughing stock.

It is time that the major press organisations flagged up her incompetence and hauled her ass over the coals rather than trying to promote her as a ‘star’, anyone can act like her, shouting isn’t a talent, playing the angry wee Nat role is play acting.

Scotland needs better than a shop soiled great white hopeless from Dreghorn, and we need that in place damn quick!

Finally, to Nicola Sturgeon, 'you ain't no thinker bruv, and sure as hell no statesman'!

Europe at War: President Hollande says France is now at war with so-called Islamic State terrorists after Father Jacques Hamel, an 85-year-old priest was brutally murdered in his Normandy church attack while holding mass, his killers shot dead by French Police, France’s attitude is hardening

Dear All

Europe is in a state of de facto war, it has been for some time, we have seen Islamic terrorism spread right across the continent.

We saw the horror of Paris, we saw the slaughter in Nice, the multiple attacks in Germany, and now we have the slaughter of a Catholic Priest who had his throat slit in his own Church in the quiet Normandy village of Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, near Rouen.

Civil war is coming to Europe, President Hollande says France now at war with so-called Islamic State terrorists. Unlike conventional warfare, there are no front lines; the enemy has been allowed to live in our society. They have formed no go areas in places they have made ghettos to breed distrust, recruit for terrorism and then act.

Politicians have said they are ignorant, how could they know this situation could have developed, well the people knew, that is why they are angry, not just in France but right across Europe.

My post of Dec 2015 makes it clear detention camps needs to be built in Europe.

If anything is going to bring to power the rise of the far right, this situation is tailor made to do so, keep an eye on Austria, the far right may take the Government since the election is being re-run.

Father Jacques Hamel, an 84-year-old priest in the quiet Normandy village of Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, near Rouen didn’t deserve to die; he was a good man who devoted his life to the service of God and others.

His throat was slit in his own church.

Father Jacques Hamel was saying morning mass when two Islamic killers stormed in and took him and other people hostage, the terrorist pleased with their efforts decided to film the event, perhaps they wanted their handiwork to be posted on social media sites to encourage others to join their cause.

In what must be an embarrassing security lapse which will come back to haunt the Hollande Government, one of the terrorists, a 19-year-old trying unsuccessfully to travel to Syria to fight with IS.

Why was he allowed to walk the streets when the French knew he planned to be a terrorist?

Why did they think that having been in prison that an electronic tag would act as a deterrent?

Are these people who made the decision to let him out, plainly stupid?

The two Islamic terrorists had a rather short jihad, the police shot them dead as they attempted to leave the building.

The French it appears now have hardened their attitude to terrorism; it is shot to kill and taking no prisoners.

A nun named as Sister Danielle held captive said afterwards:

"They forced him to his knees. He wanted to defend himself and that's when the tragedy happened. They recorded themselves. They did a sort of sermon around the altar in Arabic. It's a horror."

Europe will never be the same again, and it is only a matter of time before the backlash begins, what is needed in Europe is new leadership; the failure of the present political class is painfully obvious.

Father Jacques Hamel, an 85-year-old priest will be a huge loss not just to the quiet Normandy village of Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray but to France.

Its SNP Grievance Monkey time: Nicola Sturgeon and her feral SNP mob come up with Five Key Brexit Tests to hoodwink Scottish people, the net result of this con trick is Sturgeon saying "Independence may emerge as the best option”, failed politician resorts to old cheap gimmick of the ‘five tests’, talk about deluded!

Dear All

Recently the public and the press have been treated to the spectacle of SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon acting like a deluded fool.

People have remarked that she is carrying on like she is the leader of an independent country which she is not.

The leader of Scotland aboard is the Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May.

One of the aspects of a failing political leadership is the use of gimmicks.

When politicians get in trouble they seek to hoodwink the public because they know that they are on a sticky wicket.

Think right back to Gordon Brown’s five economic tests in the year 2000.

Why is that it wasn’t four or six or fifteen, why do they use five?

The use of the number five is a gimmick, not high enough to produce reams of work and data and not lower enough to be accused for being lightweight.

Now sixteen years down the line, we have unpopular Nicola Sturgeon coming up with guess what?

Five key Brexit tests!

The five key Brexit tests which she says could determine whether Scotland faces a second independence referendum within the next two years.

Nicola Sturgeon is attempting yet again another dishonest con trick on the Scottish people; there will not be a second referendum in Scotland in two years.

Sturgeon has no legal authority to call a second referendum, she will not get a section 30 order out of the Westminster Government, and she cannot run a referendum off her own bat through the Scottish Government.

I fought for Brexit in Scotland, and I did so on national and economic security grounds, something which Nicola Sturgeon doesn’t care about, have you seen how Europe is collapsing under terrorism?

Sturgeon is attempting to play mind games, at least in her little mind, she has drawn up a list of the "Scottish interests" she believes must be preserved as the UK withdraws from the Brussels bloc.
If you don’t know where this bed time story is heading, I will cut to the chase, Nicola Sturgeon after pre angst and post angst will declare that Scotland needs a second referendum to join the EU.

She will cite that Scotland's voice isn’t being heard and the SNP (Scotland) wishes aren’t being respected.

You probably guess it grievance monkey time, no different form all grievance monkey time done by the Scottish National Party.

UK Government have declared  the idea of a Brexit deal that would allow Scotland to remain in the EU is a non-starter, no part of a country in this case the UK can hold EU membership, it’s all in or all out, no middle ground.

Alan Cumming, the actor and Yes campaigner recently caused an outcry when he blamed Brexit on "stupid English people", you may remember his arse was flung out of a Glasgow Casino for doing a handstand.

I don’t think with people of this calibre backing Sturgeon, the majority of Scots have anything to worry about. His comment on "stupid English people" regarding Brexit will be seen for what it is, the ravings of a nutter. Cummings reminds me of Bob Geldof and his ‘fuck the poor’ episode on the Thames, little rich men playing at politics badly.

Nicola Sturgeon said:

"I am determined that we find or create the options that best preserve the five key interests that depend on our relationship with the EU. Our democratic interests - the need to make sure Scotland’s voice is heard and our wishes respected. Our economic interests - safeguarding free movement of labour, access to a single market of 500 million people and the funding that our farmers and universities depend on. Our interests in social protection - ensuring the continued protection of workers’ and wider human rights. Our interest in solidarity - the ability of independent nations to come together for the common good of all our citizens, to tackle crime and terrorism and deal with global challenges like climate change. And our interest in having influence - making sure that we don't just have to abide by the rules of the single market but also have a say in shaping them."

As we graphically saw in the Brexit campaign, the EU takes no notice of the wishes of member states; so how is it that Nicola Sturgeon thinks she can shape anything?

Do you see now why people are saying that she is an embarrassment to Scotland?

If the UK was snubbed by Brussels and we were footing 20% of the entire EU budget, what chance does Sturgeon think she will have with a country which would fail to meet the criteria for entry based on its economic deficit?
Finally, are you are familiar with the old saying ‘all roads lead to Rome’?

Well in Scotland, all political gimmicks by Nicola Sturgeon lead to a Scottish independence referendum, the main problem for her are that ‘events’ as we have seen have been taken completely out of her hands.

She has got nothing to bargain with, nothing to offer and her support is dropping; the window for Scottish independence has closed for the foreseeable future.

And let’s get it straight, Scotland and its people will not vote for independence under her spineless useless leadership or that of the SNP run by another deluded fool.

Yours sincerely

Another step is taken, the road to ‘civil war’ in Europe gets closer as Muslim Gunman murders 9 people in Munich, this time the terrorist targeted the Kids of Munich at a fast food outlet near a shopping mall, Europe is shaping up to be the new ‘Middle East’ battlefield

Dear All

Another step on the road to civil war in Europe has been taken by the Munich killings that have left nine innocent people dead and another 21 people injured.

Yet again, terrorism has reared its ugly head in Europe.

Do you remember what I recent stated what was going to happen in Europe re terrorism?

I stated in my post of 19th July that violence in Europe would escalate upwards, and that you could expect attacks at large soft targets, football matches, concerts and ultimately schools.

I said “ultimately schools” because I recognised that the terrorists would ultimately single out children to be killed.

An eye witness to the killings in Munich said to CNN:

"He's killing the children. The children were sitting to eat. They can't run."

You can listen to her account here:

One the things that the mainstream liberal press has decided to do is to paint the Munich murderer as being a mentally ill loner.

How did the Iranian –German Muslim get the gun he used to murder people?

How did he acquire the 300 rounds of ammunition in his rucksack, the Germans have strict firearms control in their country.

One of the other eye witnesses has said that the shopping centre gunman screamed:

'I'm German' and 'Allahu Akbar'.

The gunman did not have a licence for the weapon he used which was a Glock 17, a popular firearm used by law enforcement agencies worldwide.

Glocks can come with high magazine capacity, 17 rounds of 9×19mm Parabellum rounds, standard ammunition in and through-out Europe.

The killer has been named as Ali Sonboly, an 18-year-old Iranian, who has been living in Munich for over two years.

Munich police chief described Soboly as a 'classical shooter without any political motivation' and added that he committed suicide as he was not shot by police.

This statement that he had no political motivation seems to be rather off the cuff, it is too early to have built up a complete investigation in his life and what connections he had made and with whom.

French President Francois Hollande branded the killings a 'terrorist attack'.

He said:

“The terrorist attack that struck Munich killing many people is a disgusting act that aims to foment fear in Germany after other European countries. Germany will resist, it can count on France's friendship and cooperation”.

I suppose a question which will occupy German intelligence and other agencies in Europe is how many ‘lone wolf’ attacks will happen and is there a pattern emerging?

On twitter several controversial twitter users have expressed their outrage over Munich.

“Another well integrated Muslim migrant commits mass slaughter. How's that "diversity" working for you?”

You should read the twitter feed #Munichshootings to give you an overview of the public mood.

Some other tweets which caught my eye are these ones:

“When you shout Allahu Akhbar before killing children your motive is Wahhabism”.

Mensch is the former Conservative MP.

“Why a terrorist shoots kids at McDonald's: destabilization. Goal: make West as unstable as East.” #MunichShooting

I think this is a fair assessment which is no doubt sitting on the desks of countless intelligence agencies right across the EU.

The attack paralysed the southern German city of Munich, bringing renewed fears of terrorism to mainland Europe just a week after the Nice atrocity and the another teenager attacker who launched an ISIS-inspired axe attack on a German train.

One thing is certain, Europe is fast approaching a state of civil war, with the targeting of the kids of Munich; this is a significant development.

I seriously doubt that Angela Merkel can continue as the leader of Germany, it is in the interests of Europe that she is removed from power.

The Angry Little Man of Europe, SNP MEP Alyn Smith gets back to ‘begging’ again, this time the future unemployed MEP wants to be Deputy Leader of the SNP, he pleads: 'Make me Nicola Sturgeon's roving sherpa', honestly someone get this loser an application for KFC, and evening classes in ‘do you want fries with that’!

Dear All

Prior to me joining the joining the Brexit campaign, I wasn’t impressed with the SNP MEPs, they had over the course of their tenure at the European Parliament accomplished nothing of note.

Can you think of anything significant that the SNP have done in Europe?

The only thing which has brought him any attention is this speech in the European Parliament where he was pining for the loss of his job.

In the video he says:

“do not let Scotland down”.

For the record, I didn’t let Scotland down; I was one of the people who helped to lead the people of Scotland towards the light, towards democracy, while this clown wanted to see Europe rule us from afar.

Like the rest of the fake Nationalists in the SNP, I don’t see them or Alyn Smith has having Scotland’s people best interests at heart.

Now, while the post of SNP Deputy Leader being vacated by the fact the former holder Stewart Hosie has disgraced himself by his squalid little affair behind his wife’s back, Alyn Smith sees an opportunity for possible future candidate selection either at Holyrood or Westminster.

The favourite as I understand it is the buffoon Angus Robertson, the Englishman born in Wimbledon, London who likes to try and pass himself off as Scottish.

In this contest I route for no one, because no one is likeable or indeed capable as I see it.

As the contest begins to hot up the future unemployed MEP Alyn Smith is back at the ‘begging game’.

MEP Alyn Smith pleads: 'Make me Nicola Sturgeon's roving sherpa'.

So what is a Sherpa?

No, he doesn’t want to be a British Leyland van, he wants to be a guide but another definition of Sherpa is working as a ‘porter’, the guy carrying the bags up the mountain.

As part of his pitch to the SNP members, he says that attitudes to Scottish independence have almost completely reversed on the continent after previously being hostile. If you think back to unpopular Nicola Sturgeon trotting off to Brussels, she had her ass handed to her by the Europeans.

With the people that matter, Nicola Sturgeon found no room at the inn!

Alyn Smith wanting to be a "freelance, roving sherpa" should is qualify him as a potential SNP deputy leader, he appears to want to continue his European lifestyle and then probably get in somewhere for an earner.

Other contenders for the deputy leader role are Westminster group leader Angus Robertson, MP Tommy Sheppard and Inverclyde councillor Christopher McEleny.

Not exactly a host of talent, Sheppard has no chance, McEleny has an outsider’s chance, and Robertson arguably has the best, and probably the support of the Cult leaders.

As to Alyn Smith’s claim that him winning the SNP's deputy leadership would add weight to his continental charm offensive that is just nonsense, if you can’t win by the strength of your arguments then clearly you don’t have a case worth considering.

Alyn Smith should remember that the facts speak for themselves, bed stories are soon forgotten.

I have to say that helping put Alyn Smith and Ian Hudghton (SNP President) out of a job is one of the highlights of my political career, as I took him apart along with Ming Campbell while I was a guest on the BBC Big Debate radio show. If you managed to listen to that 10th June show, you would have heard awful defence of the EU by Smith.

Alyn Smith left the BBC an angry wee man who drowned in his own rhetoric.

I take great satisfaction in removing this deadbeat who accomplished nothing of note.

Pack your bags Smith; you’re history, not part of history, and don’t cling onto hope for SNP Deputy Leader, that is a bridge too far for you as well!

Yours sincerely

The ‘Big Lie’ re-invented for a post Brexit Scotland, SNP moves away from 'land of milk and honey' vision of independence, the new SNP delusion is short term pain then Scotland becomes an economic powerhouse, unpopular Nicola Sturgeon problems have got worse, the Scottish pound idea can only be propped up by selling off Scotland’s public assets

Dear All

In 2014, you may have noticed that there was a Scottish independence referendum; you might also have noticed that the majority of Scotland’s population said no, all in 2,001,926 people saw through the ‘Big Lie’.

The Big Lie’ was substance of the Scottish National Party’s bid for independence, led by Scotland’s ‘jolly fat man’ Alex Salmond and unpopular Nicola Sturgeon.

1,617,989 people which is 44.7% of the voting population got sucked into the ‘big lie’.

These people believed the lie because they wanted to believe the lie, the poor, the disaffected were constantly fed that a ‘land of milk and honey’ awaited them if they would just vote Yes.

I played a prominent part in the Better Together campaign in Pollok, along with about 5 people, I managed to get 22k votes, in stark contrast the SNP with 30/40 activists managed only to get 27k votes.

Pollok returned the highest Yes vote in the City of Glasgow, and recently Pollok returned the second highest Leave Vote in the EU referendum, 40.8%, I was running the Leave campaign on the ground in Pollok.

All the areas where people used my campaigning tactics returned over 40% of the votes in their areas, those who didn’t ranged between 20% and 31%.

Scottish independence means poverty and austerity, this is because the Scottish National Party are clueless on what has to be done to make a viable plan to present to the voters, coupled with that, they now have the added stigma of the dreadful nasty abusive campaign of hatred they ran against the majority of the people of Scotland who rejected them.

Does leaving the EU make Scotland more likely to vote for Scottish independence as the SNP keep telling people?

No!

No, it doesn’t in fact quite the opposite, leaving the EU adds additional problems to the sordid and squalid SNP plans of short termism thinking.

Scottish independence is effectively dead; no one will buy into supporting Nicola Sturgeon and her feral mob.

Having lied repeatedly the SNP has signalled a decisive shift away from its "land of milk and honey" vision of independence and towards a more warts and all case for leaving the UK.

So, what does warts and all means?

How about your dear old mummy being left to die a slow painful death because she can’t get medical treatment?

How about the collapse of the public sector, does that suit you down to the ground?

How does a financial situation worse than Greece appeal to you?

How does the loss of pooling and sharing of resources square with you?

The current lie at the heart of ‘civic nationalism’ which is another con trick worthy of discussion is that the SNP are preparing the ground for a second independence referendum. To that end a phoney summer indy drive is being planned to dupe the mugs who campaign for the SNP.

The summer indy drive is a drive to win the councils, particularly Glasgow which the SNP have set their sights on and spectacularly failed in 2012, things however have changed, the Scottish Labour Party has had extremely bad results in both the Westminster and Holyrood elections.

Then you have the current crisis with Jeremy Corbyn which is rather unhelpful and an open wound, after this contest, the Labour Party will not be coming together, that’s a farce, Owen Smith claimed to be the ‘unity candidate’ is far from unifying anyone.

The guy who is fronting the new con trick for the SNP is SNP MP George Kerevan, his offer to people is that Scottish independence would mean "painful" budget cuts.

You can take it as read this would be the descent into financial hell for Scotland, and like Greece, the SNP would sell off the country's public assets to prop up another failed idea which at the present moment the SNP are calling the Scottish pound.

Remember I said how the SNP con trick on currency worked?

British pound to Scottish pound to Euro!

The SNP want to join the EU, to ‘ruled’ by Brussels and to get access to the European Central Bank, where is the independence is that?

As to Kerevan’s idea that Scotland could become an economic powerhouse, this is entirely laughable; Kerevan says that Scotland’s economy would be boosted increasing productivity.

However, in the acid test to explain how this minor miracle would be done, he failed to explain exactly how that might be achieved.

As I keep saying this is a genuine lack of talent in the Scottish National Party, and that goes all the way to the top and includes the woefully inept Nicola Sturgeon, the ‘hollow woman’ of Scottish politics.

Scottish Labour MSP Jackie Baillie said:

"At a time when our public services are already facing significant cuts, and more uncertainty with Brexit, it is astounding that a senior SNP MP would suggest making further cuts to Scotland’s budget. "George Kerevan and the SNP owe Scots an explanation of where these cuts will fall."

She added:

"People across Scotland voted in overwhelming numbers to maintain our relationship with the EU and the UK. The focus and energy of the SNP and the Scottish Government should be on respecting both mandates of the people of Scotland."

There will be no second Scottish independence referendum any time soon, the SNP is effectively neutered; talking among each other and failing to act on the powers they already have to make Scotland better.

Unpopular Nicola Sturgeon isn’t fit to lead an independent, you only have to look at the state of Govanhill in Glasgow where she is the MSP, it isn’t a model community, it is a slum, a modern day ghetto.

While people like in squalid conditions, Nicola Sturgeon is in the Royal box at Wimbledon eating strawberries and cream watching the tennis, it’s all one big joke to her, I don’t see the 2,001,926 getting smaller, in fact I see the pro UK side getting stronger.

Don’t be conned by a shop soiled great white hopeless from Dreghorn, after all, you can’t and wouldn’t put a price on your dear old mummy, in a poverty strapped independent Scotland, the SNP would.

Yours sincerely

Terror Continent; another day, more Islamic terrorism hits Europe, Afghan man attacks German citizens on a train with axe and a knife, European people are gearing up for ‘civil war’, French intelligence Chief Patrick Calvar fears we are near the tipping point, you can expect a bloody murderous backlash in front line Europe

Dear All

There are many sign posts on the road to civil war in Europe, Paris, Cologne, Nice and now Würzburg, if you aren’t familiar with Würzburg, this place makes it into the public domain as a 17-year-old Afghan man armed with axe and knife attacked passengers on a train.

German Police shot the attacker dead after he attacked about 20 passengers, some of whom were seriously hurt.

Yet again Islamic terrorism on mainland Europe which will fuel hatred and lead to violence, a scared population is an angry population, you might have seen the news footage of an angry French crowd booing the French Prime Minister in Nice.

At the start of the migrant crisis, the political class had posters espousing that ‘refugees are welcome’, this was done for political advantage; it took no notice of the security situation of allowing un-vetted people to roam freely at will.

Europe was opened up by the political class as a ‘terrorist supermarket’, rows and rows of readymade victims, men, women and kids, unarmed and abandoned by the political elite.

Bavaria’s interior minister, Joachim Herrmann, said the attacker was a 17-year-old Afghan asylum seeker who had arrived in Germany as an unaccompanied minor.

So, why wasn’t he detained?

Why was he placed with a foster family in Ochsenfurt, south of Würzburg, for “a few months”?

Because people in politics are stupid, genuinely stupid and that borders on criminal, I said in post after post that there needed to be extraordinary measures enacted to deal with the migrant crisis.

This post of December 2015 shows the five measures that I set out plus the need for detention camps, European Council President Donald Tusk recognised the need for vetting, but this came too little too late.

Across Europe, courtesy of Angela Merkel, Islamic terrorists have setup cells and are actively recruiting disaffected people to their cause; rape is used as a weapon of war as we saw in Cologne.

Already people are flocking to join gun clubs, learn self-defence and forming groups of militia, the head of French General Directorate for Internal Security Patrick Calvar told members of the French parliamentary commission that thanks to the increasing frequency of sexual assaults by islamic migrants, "Extremism is growing everywhere... We are on the brink of civil war."

I have been saying constantly right from the start that the migrant crisis is the greatest threat since the exodus at the end of WW2.

In the wake of the Nice terror attacks that left 84 people dead with over 300 others wounded, we now have an incredibly angry French population, not just angry at the Islamic terrorists but angry at the French politicians.

Patrick Calvar is doubling down warning that an inevitable confrontation between the far right and Muslims looms, posing more of a threat than terrorism.

If a few people turn violent the authorities can deal with it; however there are more than a few people now who want revenge, the number will grow and grow, and when the violence comes, it will be like a tsunami washing over Europe.

There will be killings, not just fights, of course you will see a few of them in the media as the protests kick off, as I previously said there will be a rise in domestic terrorism.

Extremist nationalist politicians are gaining ground, not just in France but right across the European mainland, France has become a pressure cooker of resentments, and sooner or later the pressure cooker will explode.

French intelligence believes they have evidence that radical Right-wing French groups have been massing arms in preparation for their own attacks on mosques.

The attack in Heidingsfeld district of Würzburg by the Afghan man has been said to be an Islamist attack as a witness said that they heard the axe man say “Allahu Akbar” during the assault.

According to Police, an Islamic State flag has been found in the room of the Afghan teenager who carried out the axe attack on a train in northern Bavaria.

It seems pretty clear that Islamic State want a ‘race war’ in Europe, all evidence seems to point to this, as the Islamic terrorist don’t have an army, they want to recruit Muslim people brought up in European countries to join their cause.

And we can expect the scale of terrorism to be increased from suicide belts and AK 47s to car bombs in city centres, attacks on large soft targets, football matches, concerts and ultimately schools.

Some time ago, I said there was a need to deploy the army onto the streets as a backup to the Police, who aren’t able to cope with this situation.

So, in conclusion, I would say this, which I previously said back in the December post of 2015, it is a matter of national security that there needs to be detention camps built in Europe.

Europe at this present moment isn’t looking for a compassionate leader; it is looking for a leader who can restore social order by any means necessary.

If this person doesn’t step forward, then the population of Europe will take on the role themselves, and rather than attend courses on diplomacy, they will opt for more crude measures and firearms training.

Yours sincerely

Prime Minister Theresa May tells unpopular SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon, the SNP has "had its vote" on independence, ‘ghetto leader’ Sturgeon floats threat of Second Scottish Independence Ref as being on the table, as to keeping Scotland in the EU, that’s gone, it's all gone Sturgeon!

Dear All

Just in the door and the new Prime Minister Theresa May has travelled to Scotland to bitch slap unpopular Nicola Sturgeon publicly and tell her that the SNP has "had its vote" on independence.

The Prime Minister turned up at Bute House in Edinburgh to do a ‘victory tour’ and to let the Govanhill ‘ghetto leader’ know in no uncertain terms who is in charge.

There will be no second independence referendum under a May administration.

As to the issue of the constitution, talk of federalism is in the air, working behind down in the background by the Constitutional Reform Group but the SNP are playing no part in this thinking, events are moving politically but the SNP are just spectators.

As the new Prime Minister strolled confidently up to the front door a bloated looking tired and graceless Nicola Sturgeon stood on the steps of Bute House trying to look important and failing.

The constitution is a matter for London, and the Brexit vote insists May is a vote to leave, the SNP attempt to hoodwink the Scottish public that Scotland voted to ‘stay in’ is a lie being peddled by the SNP.

And not being listened to in London.

As to the pathetic tactic that calling a vote to leave the UK is a bid to hang on to Scotland's EU status and being "highly likely" is totally impotent, the SNP window has closed on Scottish independence.

Scotland will not vote for independence under the Scottish National Party.

Nicola Sturgeon cannot call a legitimate independence referendum, the key word here being ‘legitimate’.

Sturgeon is all talk and no delivery.

May said:

"As far as I'm concerned the Scottish people had their vote, they voted in 2014, and a very clear message came through, both the United Kingdom and the Scottish Government said they would abide by that. We now have the challenge though, as a United Kingdom, to ensure that we can get the best possible deal for the whole of the United Kingdom from the EU negotiations when the UK leaves the EU. I'm very clear that the Government I lead will be for all parts of the United Kingdom and for all people."

Two key things which have sealed Nicola Sturgeon’s fate by Prime Minister Theresa May, the vote has already taken place on Scottish independence and that she will lead all parts of the United Kingdom.

In response, a dejected and defeat Sturgeon said:

"I’ve said previously that if we want to protect our relationship with the European Union then Scotland may have to consider becoming an independent member. If it proves not to be possible to fully protect Scotland’s interests through the UK process then the Prime Minister knows that a second independence referendum is of course on the table. However, I’ve also been consistently clear that I want to examine all options for protecting Scotland’s position, protecting our interests, protecting our relationship with the EU."

She has no legal authority to enter into formal talks with the EU, and they cannot talk to her either from a legal standpoint.

This is the time of the ‘great whinging’, with the terrorism of Nice fresh in people’s minds, the future financial collapse of several European countries and the rise in domestic terrorism, the migrant crisis, and a huge financial Scottish black hole, no central bank, no currency and the Scottish books which cannot be balanced without huge tax rises of 16% and budgets cuts, who is she kidding?

Clearly Nicola Sturgeon isn’t speaking to Scotland, so who is she speaking to?

Have a guess!

She is talking to the ‘dafties’, those people who do activism to serve the SNP cult, perhaps she should do that privately and spare the rest of us her drivel.

Prime Minister Theresa May will be throwing unpopular Nicola Sturgeon a bone as a junior partner in Brexit negotiations, limited scope; you may remember that on the Gordon Brewer Big Debate on the 10th June where I was a guest, I floated the idea of the devolved administrations getting a role in Brexit negotiations.

So, what was the idea of that?

To educate the deeply ignorant of the SNP; seems Westminster agreed with the George Laird idea, yet again ahead of the curve unlike Nicola Sturgeon playing ‘catch up’.

Finally, I notice that Nicola Sturgeon has started to let herself go around the middle, the unseemly sight of her gut ‘hanging out all over the place’, although she can’t fight destiny, she might want to have a shot at stopping gravity.

And it looks by the picture to be a rather large gut!

The road to civil war in Europe has started, French authorities are confirming 80 dead and more than 100 injured after Islamic terrorist attack in Nice, Islamic terrorists use truck as a weapon; Europe is on the brink of disaster

Dear All

Terrorism has rocked the European mainland again; more than 70 people are believed to have been killed in an attack in the south of France as people celebrated Bastille Day.

You may remember that I have constantly highlighted that Europe is on the road to civil war.

So, what are European leaders doing about this?

Pretty much nothing, we have seen Paris, we have seen Cologne and now we have seen Nice, we have also seen a political class which is on the verge of being swept away as more people abandon traditional parties in favour of the right and far right.

In the past, I have highlighted the need for extraordinary measures, to recap on them.

1/ EU Border Force

2/ EU internal immigration policy for EU citizens

3/ intervention and mobilisation of the military in member states

4/ New EU wide ID card scheme

5/ No non EU economic migrant processed from this crisis and allowed to remain within an EU country which has accept them can travel to any other EU member state. Everyone should be completely documented, if a breach occurred; the person or group will be returned to the EU country they were settled and registered in.

Clearly, there is a serious problem, this problem affects everyone in Europe, as I said previously; the damage done by Angela Merkel is the biggest threat to Europe since the Second World War!

Merkel imported terrorism directly in the heart of Europe.

Terrorists have found a new weapon in their arsenal, the use of trucks as killing weapons; it may be a surprise to some people but not to me.

Footage of the massacre in Nice shows bodies are laid out all along a promenade in Nice, in which it can be clearly seen that some people are lying in pools of blood.

Gunmen in the truck then opened fire after hitting the crowd, a fire fight then erupted with the French Police.

A police source has reportedly said that identity papers belong to a 31-year-old French Tunisian man, a resident of Nice, were found inside the truck.

French president François Hollande confirmed 77 people were killed; including several children in what he said was clearly a "terrorist" act.

He added:

"France is badly hit by this tragedy. We are horrified. But France is strong, and France will always be stronger I assure you. It is all of France which is under the threat of Islamic terrorism. So in these circumstances we must show absolute vigilance and a determination without end."

Nice Mayor Christian Estrosi said:

"This is the worst catastrophe our region has seen in modern history. We now have to mobilise all of our services, all the psychologists, volunteers who are trained to help fellow human beings. We will work with the imams, priests and rabbis who will also join us to help the victims and families who are suffering and will probably never heal their wounds. I want to thank people who welcomed passersby and those people who show us tonight that hopefully, solidarity still exists in a world that is too egoistical and individualistic."

The reality is that things cannot go back to normal, war has come to the streets of Europe, and the Promenade des Anglais where so many French dead are lying including children is now a battlefield.

So far, it looks like our current politicians have no stomach for doing what needs to be done to safeguard national security, if this isn’t addressed then don’t be surprised if the far right starts to get seats and power in elected institutions right across the continent.

You might want to watch this video again by the Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Obron.

Its another marker on the road to civil war in Europe, latest reports say 10 children among the dead of Nice.

Is a whole new lot of trouble coming down the track for Scots, New Act of Union Bill is published to create a federal UK, will this stave off Scottish independence attempts, the answer is no, people need better representation and delivery from mainstream parties, then the position of Scotland will be secure

Dear All

One of the things which has been happening in the background for some considerable time, is the work being done to attempt to create a Federal Britain.

And just to show that I am on top of the game, here is my youtube video, and you can also look at my other videos on motion graphics.

I did a video intro project some time ago on this, but put it on the back burner, now I have uploaded it and stuck it on the front burner.

Federalism is an option, and is favoured by some politicians, in the UK and that includes Scotland everything is up in the air politically.

A group of senior cross-party politicians published a draft Bill to create a new Act of Union, this is something coming from The Constitution Reform Group (CRG), headed up by people like the Marquess of Salisbury, who is the former Conservative Leader of the Lords, Lord Hain, the former Labour Northern Ireland Secretary, and Lord Campbell, the former Liberal Democrat leader.

The aim of the 48-page Act Of Union Bill 2016 is to “to affirm that the peoples of [our] nations and parts have chosen to continue to pool their sovereignty for specified purposes, and to provide universal citizenship with social and economic rights”.

So, is this the silver bullet that can kill off the SNP and their followers?

No, time and lack of delivery will do this, coupled with their incompetence, there are several hurdles, and the first isn’t federalism, it is tampering with the 300-year-old act of union in the first place.

Ming Campbell said:

“The referendum on Scottish independence followed swiftly by the flawed implementation of English votes for English laws and the enormous electoral success of the SNP, brought to the forefront of public consciousness the deep imbalances in the make-up of the Union. The CRG was formed to address these imbalances and we believe that the Bill we have drafted is a good starting point. We want to turn the process of devolution upside down; the four nations of the United Kingdom should be sovereign but agree to pool that sovereignty on issues that it is agreed are best handled at a UK level. “The issues that divide the nation are far outweighed by the common values and cultures that have bound us together for hundreds of years. We hope that the new Prime Minister will take this unprecedented opportunity to realign our Union and secure it for centuries to come.”

Could the new Prime Minister Theresa May jump on this bandwagon?

Not in this term of the Westminster Parliament, not a chance, the main aim that she has is to steady the ship, not plan for any adventures of discovery.

The bill includes proposals for:

the creation of an English Parliament

strengthened Scottish Parliament controlling all powers except those “central policy areas” assigned to the UK Parliament

the abolition of the House of Lords

a new UK Parliament revising chamber with members elected to it from the UK’s four national parliaments

increased regional devolution

central functions financed by central taxes such as income tax, VAT and corporation tax
the renaming of the Bank of England as the Bank of the United Kingdom with members of the board drawn from the four parts of the UK.

This is in part a response to the English votes for English laws, when this came in I was unhappy about it, there shouldn’t be a two tier system operating in Westminster, all MPs even the less than gifted from the SNP should have the same voting rights at every stage.

In political terms, it is very early days; does this solve the problem of Scottish independence?

Not really.

The issue of the people is really about a disconnect between the people and the political elite, the Labour Party chaos at present is an example of this, people who get elected who then don’t see themselves as public servants but rather as ‘managers’ of the people.

Keep an eye on federalism and more importantly who is promoting it politically.

Labour Civil War, Labour MPs suffer major setback in attempt to oust Jeremy Corbyn after Labour NEC vote 18 to 14 to allow him to be automatically on the ballot paper, Angela Eagle’s Labour career is dead and buried, Eagle’s CLP are in process of voting no confidence in her, Labour members needs to bite the bullet and remove all 172 Labour MPs

Dear All

What a time to be a traitor in the Labour Party, last night I was talking to my friend about the Labour coup attempt, he is a sharp cookie, he said that Angela Eagle’s career is finished.

Hard to disagree with that assessment isn’t it.

Those plotters among the Labour MPs have now suffered a serious setback in their attempts to oust Jeremy Corbyn after he secured an automatic place in the upcoming leadership contest.

I expect that Jeremy Corbyn will win this contest defeating all comers, but the matter doesn’t end there, 172 MPs decided that their views out-weighted the 600,000 of the membership.

In this election contest, the 172 MPs only have 172 votes, they thought to abuse their position which was given to them by Labour members, and it is clear that these people do not represent the views of the Labour Party.

The Labour Party is the membership.

As more and more Labour CLPs declare for Jeremy Corbyn, the tide has turned against the plotters.

The plotters are basing their disloyalty on Jeremy Corbyn’s lack of leadership during the European Union referendum, but Jeremy attended over 123 Remain events as leader which is in sharp contrast to the low figure that Angela Eagle attended.

The plot to remove Corbyn has nothing to do with the EU referendum.

If Jeremy Corbyn had been excluded this matter would have ended up in Court and he would have won hands down.

The contest is now a three way affair; Jeremy Corbyn, and the two members of the Blair faction, Angela Eagle and Owen Smith, Smith has no chance, Eagle has a poor chance at best, and the membership and unions are all backing Corbyn.

The fight doesn’t end with a Corbyn victory, the Labour membership have a new fight after this one, to de-select the 172 MPs who attempted this coup, one thing that Labour needs is a clear out.

John McTernan, a former adviser to Tony Blair and ex-Scottish Labour leader Jim Murphy, said it was a “terribly, terribly sad day” and that the unions, who supported Mr Corbyn, had “destroyed the Labour party”.

What destroyed the Labour Party was the Blair faction who operated to their own agenda, who crippled the party, refused to help the working class and were signed up to the Conservative austerity agenda.

Labour’s party's ruling national executive committee voted 18-14 that Mr Corbyn would automatically be on the ballot paper.

As to speculation that the party could eventually split if Mr Corbyn remains in the top job, well I welcome the exit of the Blair faction, if they think the membership will fall them they are sadly mistaken.

The Labour Party is so much more than the 172 Labour MPs, if they all go, no one will be begging them to come back, they can easily be replaced at the next election.

A Labour spokesman said:

"The NEC has agreed that as the incumbent leader JeremyCorbyn will go forward onto the ballot without requiring nominations from the Parliamentary Labour Party and the European Parliamentary Labour Party. All other leadership candidates will require nominations from 20% of the PLP and EPLP."

I am backing Jeremy Corbyn 100% in this contest, the way the plotters have acted is absolutely disgraceful, and I urge everyone holding a Labour membership to get out and vote for Jeremy Corbyn, more than that I urge them to join his leadership campaign.

Labour MP Angela Eagle sees her constituency office get a brick through the window as Labour plotters seek to deny Jeremy Corbyn natural justice by attempting to keep him off the ballot paper, emotions are running very high as civil war is expected to engulf the Party, it’s 172 Labour MPs vs the Labour membership

Dear All

The plot to oust Jeremy Corbyn as leader of the Labour Party by 172 Labour MPs is a rather nasty squalid affair.

You could say that their act of disloyalty is on a par with the kind of treachery display by Burgess, McLean, Blunt and Philby.

Blairitie plotters have in the shape of Angela Eagle decided to act because they aren’t happy the way the Labour Party is run.

The coup is nothing to do with the EU referendum result apparently they have been plotting to remove Corbyn more or less since he was elected as leader on a popular mandate.

In the past, the threat to the Labour Party was militant, now the threat to democracy in the party is Blair faction.

So, what is the Blair faction, these are middle class people who don’t represent the values of the working class people anymore, they think they are an elite who are there to ‘manage’ people, in effect the views of the people don’t count.

Labour MP David Lammy expressed this sentiment beautifully as he said; that Parliament should simply ignore the result of the EU referendum.

With the Tories signed up to the hilt for Brexit under new PM Theresa May, the Blair faction want to try and scupper the will of the people.

Emotions are running very high, the Blair faction want to exclude Jeremy Corbyn from standing as a candidate for leader in a rather shobby attempt to deny him natural justice.

Now, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has had to call for calm following brick attack on Angela Eagle's office.

Some time ago, I said that politicians had alienated people so much in Europe that violence was on the horizon, not just against migrants but also the political class.

You can read this as part of my analysis that Europe is heading towards civil war and a rise in domestic terrorism; basically we will see a ‘race war’, violence bloody and brutal.

Angela Eagle as well as getting a brick through her window has also received death threats, politics provokes emotion, and robbing people of their democratic leader could see Angela Eagle and the other 171 Labour MPs who are against the Labour membership also in the firing line.

There is to be a key meeting of Labour’s national executive committee to discuss whether or not the party leader’s name will appear automatically on the ballot paper. If Corbyn is not allowed to stand this goes against natural justice.

Jeremy Corbyn has been quick to condemn the attack on Angela Eagle’s constituency office, he said:

“It is extremely concerning that Angela Eagle has been the victim of a threatening act and that other MPs are receiving abuse and threats. As someone who has also received death threats this week and previously, I am calling on all Labour Party members and supporters to act with calm and treat each other with respect and dignity, even where there is disagreement.”

The Labour leader added:

“I utterly condemn any violence or threats, which undermine the democracy within our party and have no place in our politics.”

As well as the criminal damage, Angela Eagle has her own more personal troubles; her local party members want to de-select her after the Wallasey Constituency Labour Party urged her to support Mr Corbyn.

The Labour Party members should de-select all 171 Labour MPs involved in the coup against Jeremy Corbyn, no one can trust them and no one should be willing to do a single day of activism for them again.

It is looking increasingly likely that events may force the Labour leadership contest into the Courts.

Unite general secretary Len McCluskey said it would be "alien to the concept of natural justice" if Mr Corbyn was blocked from defending his position, something which the union warned would "leave a stain on party unity that might prove permanent".

Lawyers acting for Jim Kennedy, a trade union member of the NEC committee, have written to party general secretary Iain McNicol warning they will take "injunctive action" unless Mr Corbyn is automatically included.

Solicitor Martin Howe said:

"Our clients are very concerned that the purpose of the special meeting is to manufacture a situation whereby Jeremy Corbyn's name will be omitted from the leadership ballot. That is wholly unacceptable."

The coup by the Blair faction has split the Labour Party wide open, if it does end up in the Courts and Jeremy Corbyn is denied natural justice, then the Labour Party will have a ‘leader’ with no mandate.

One thing is certain, this episode will end very badly, the membership must start the process of removing all 171 Labour MPs by de-selection; no one should enter public office by way of a sordid nasty fix which appears to be the position of the Blair Faction.

As to Angela Eagle……. She doesn’t have a future in the Labour Party, her own party members will move against her and de-select her, one thing she can be sure of that will be natural justice.

Yours sincerely
