Dear All
If I say Glasgow Labour Party cash cow and travel agent, you would probably reply SPT if you are a regular reader of this blog.
The Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) is a disgrace.
And it should be shut down by the Scottish Government.
In a rare move of almost biblical proportions a director at a beleaguered quango has repaid expenses.
Mind you there is an auditor’s report into the public body’s questionable use of funds in the offing.
Bob Wylie, the chief spin doctor at Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT), has handed back an undisclosed sum for costs incurred on the day of Rangers appearing in the Uefa Cup final.
So, what did Bob claim on the day of the Rangers in Manchester?
£385 for accommodation, £190 for transport and £138 for lunch!
£138 for lunch!
How many times did he eat lunch to rack up £138?
Wylie is just a symptom of the SPT disease, he paid back some money; does he want a medal?
Round of applause?
Mentioned in dispatches?
The Scottish Government needs to step in and kill this quango off.
Yours sincerely

ReplyDeleteDear Tris
ReplyDeleteHave you ever seen Predator the movies, there is a scene where Bill Duke kills a wild boar in the day.
The blood sprays around the place as he does so, this needs to happen to the SPT.
Kill it stone dead.
