Muslim list SNP MSP Humza Yousaf calls on UK Government to ban Donald Trump from the UK on the basis of ‘hate speech’, Trump says there should be a ban on all Muslims entering the United States after the terrorist incident in California, like the SNP, Trump has learned how to exploit people’s fears for personal political gain
Dear All
Donald Trump is an American businessman who is standing for the nomination to become President of the United States.
Given the latest terrorist incident in America, Donald Trump has called for all Muslims to be banned from the United States. This is a populist policy which would find favour with a certain aspect of American society, but it is hardly fair and most certainly not constitutional. It may garner him support for his campaign but it could and never would be put into practice.
Not surprisingly, people have condemned his suggestion, and some people are calling for a boycott of Donald Trump’s Scottish hotels and golf courses.
Will this happen?
No!
The reason is that people who can afford to stay in a Trump hotel aren’t the type of people to take the advice of the great unwashed, also the idea that the presidential hopeful would be barred from the UK is also pie in the sky.
Trump some time ago was given an honorary degree by Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen in 2010, campaigners want the degree removed from Trump, obviously this puts the University in a tricky position as removing degrees is generally ‘not the done thing’.
Trump as part of his justification for the ban on Muslims says that Muslims nurse a "hatred" for Americans. He also cited the couple who opened fire and killed 14 people at a health centre in San Bernardino, California, and linked the two together in his call for a ban.
I think that Donald Trump would be a disaster for American politics, and certainly he wouldn’t be a good President but if he gets in, America will follow his direction. Allow people from certain countries can be refused access to America; it is unusual for people of an entire religion to be banned.
Muslim list MSP Humza Yousaf said that Mr Trump's call, if implemented, would transform America into an "apartheid state".
Actually, it wouldn’t, the ban on foreigners wouldn’t affect the rights of American Muslims but it would affect him, his wife, Aamer Anwar and SNP MP Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh.
English woman Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh, the ex Labour, ex Tory political butterfly currently attached to the SNP said she believed that Trump needs to be barred from the UK for "hate preaching".
If anyone in authority was listening to her, she wouldn’t get anywhere with her complaint, not this side of a Presidential election. If Trump got elected President, would the UK bar him, I think not.
Patrick Harvie, the Scottish Green MSP for Glasgow, also lodged a motion at Holyrood condemning Mr Trump and urging the public to consider boycotting his Scottish businesses.
Well Patrick can certainly ask but rich people don’t tend to follow the advice of poor people so would Patrick suggest they downsize to a local B&B?
Harvie added:
"This bigoted blowhard of a man is being rightly condemned far and wide, and I'm confident that Scotland will reject his extremist rhetoric.”
Some thing which Patrick said which was really funny was:
“Trump is now more than just a vulgar attention-seeker; he represents truly dangerous ideas, and should not be tolerated.”
Patrick, he is so rich that he wouldn’t even know your name or care what you do, Holyrood is so far down on his horizon, it might as well be a community council in his eyes.
Although there is a history of banning people coming to the UK such as the Westboro Bapist Church (who are all mental), controversial French comedian Dieudonne and US rapper Tyler, Trump isn’t in the same league, and he might become President.
How bad would that look if David Cameron banned a possible future President of the USA?
Muslim list MSP Humza Yousaf added Trump's comments were "divisive, hateful and designed to cause division between communities”.
Maybe Humza could send him an SNP membership form, after all this is the SNP Cult’s stock in trade, he would fit right in and he has got money!!!!!
Other ideas of Trump noted by Yousaf were Muslims should face increased surveillance, a register created so that they can be easily identified and Mosques closed down.
In France, three Mosques were recently closed down by the French Government because of extremism.
https://www.rt.com/news/324354-france-close-radical-mosques/
Should we also ban all French people and businesses in Scotland, and deny the French access to the UK?
I don’t know, I am just asking the question since Yousaf is making his case for banning Trump, incidentally, I am not pro Trump, he along with the SNP fucked the local people in Aberdeen to build his golf course.
Something which is worth pointing out to HumzaYousaf!
Yousaf also stated:
“This is hate speech that if implemented would undoubtedly lead to the US becoming an apartheid state. I am aware of a petition to the Home Secretary asking her to consider banning Donald Trump from entering the UK. I hope she will give it due consideration as we should not allow hate speech which seeks to divide communities unfettered access to the UK.”
Trump is doing what all shallow politicians do, he is using any issue and populist politics to try and get into public office, and to do so; he will say anything to get a vote much like Nicola Sturgeon.
He is just like the ‘hollow men’ of the Scottish National Party.
As to the petition to bar Trump that will go straight in the bin!
Yours sincerely

Trump is a balloon George he has the cash to fund his own campaign though something the others don't have. If he is on the ballot next year I predict a resounding democrat win he might be banned after that if he is still the front runner and gets beaten. I figure the republicans will attempt to coalesce round an anyone but trump candidate for every vote he wins he will probably lose about 4. No chance as you say of a ban before then in case pigs fly and he does get elected.
ReplyDeleteHi Freddy
ReplyDeletePolitics is a funny old game and sometimes pigs fly.
George
I wouldn't sign any petition regarding this issue at all.
ReplyDeleteA WEEK is a long time Georgieboy
ReplyDeleteDonald Trump said, in so many word, "ban all muslims "until" we can find out what the heck is going on. Quite right. At least he has the guts to say it. Not every person in power is a lap dog. Times are changing fast. Look at France with Marine Le Pen. I'd vote for her, the same as i'd vote for Trump. There is a "counter petition" on the go now,,, "Don't Ban Trump From The UK",, I've just signed it. At least with Trump, you get the truth. I mean, look at the fiasco over the Forth Road Bridge, or Natalie McGarry, plus Michelle Thompdon,, you'll never get the truth about this lot. Then we have an SNP former tax avoider, and this is ehat wr know. What else don't we know??? Corrupt, lying, ratship SNP shower, led by Nicoka Sturgeon who "shamed Scotland" by refusing to help France and it's allies fight evil IS.
ReplyDeleteThis un-elected mouthpiece Humza Yousaf wants to ban Donald Trump from entering the UK, for speaking the "truth", yet Yousaf has nothing to say about the "HATE PREACHERS". spreading their BILE daily here in the UK. What ya got to say about that then un-elected Yousaf!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf there is another ISIS attack Trump will soar.
ReplyDeleteIf I were ISIS, I'd do it to!
Why?
Simple imagine the message, the election of President Trump would send to the Muslim world....
He would be the best recruiting sergeant ISIS could possibly ever have.
However in fairness the condemnation of him is hypocritical.
In 1979 President Jimmy Carter the southern democrat banned ALL Iranian immigrants from entering the USA.
So does that make him worse then Trump?
As I see no condemnation of that.
Hi Stuart
ReplyDeleteI think as I keep saying violence is coming down the track.
Read a report of attacks on Muslims in America, it seems that the mood of people is changing, and not for the better.
How long will it be before the anger also turns towards politicians?
George
The notion of banning everyone who has an opposing idea is preposterous, un-elected Hamsa YUSELESS jumps on every bandwagon.
ReplyDeleteIf more incidents like Paris or twin towers occur in America i fear a anti muslim backlash will occur and Trump might get elected with patriotic fervour that follows.
The world is becoming a more dangerous place for all
I don't like Donald Trump. He ran roughshod over the people on the Menie estate.Neither the scottish government, nor their MP did anything to help them.
ReplyDeleteDonald Trump makes a sensible, under the circumstances(islamic terrorism),temporary proposal for his own country:the snp go mental and throw rattles out the pram.
I hope Donald Trump is successful.
