Scotland’s unpopular First Minster Nicola Sturgeon has the door of Number 10 shut in her face, both Labour and Conservatives reject SNP plans for military and economic instability, Nicola Sturgeon seen as a threat to UK national security

Dear All

Ed Miliband has ruled out a Labour-SNP coalition.

Anyone who thought that was a serious possibility in the event of a hung Parliament after May's election really doesn’t understand Westminster politics.

Nae chance!

However, unpopular First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has still held out hope to her ‘Cult’ by suggesting a more informal deal between the SNP and Labour was still a possibility.

Nae chance!

This is to keep the cult members onside and providing cheap menial labour to get Nicola’s “pals” elected.

In return for being cheap labour, Nicola will throw her ‘supporters’ a few biscuits which really aren’t for them but part of a Nationalist plan to buy the Scottish vote and appear ‘caring’, but it is really called ‘election bribes’.

The fact of the matter is if you want a Conservative led Government or a Labour led Government, you should vote for either, voting SNP at Westminster is a total waste of time.

I can only wonder how given the pathetic record of the SNP Government at Holyrood, Sturgeon can get to a position where she says the SNP can bring "positive change across the UK".

If you look at the track record of the ‘feeble’ six’ currently SNP MPs, they aren’t brought anything positive to Westminster, unless grudge, grievance and malcontent somehow represents a ‘positive’. People like SNP MP Ms. Whiteford can’t be bothered to drag her sorry ass to the Scottish Select Committee to at least pretend to stand up for Scotland.

Ed Miliband said:

"There will be no SNP ministers in any government I lead."

The SNP don’t care about being Ministers in an Ed Miliband administration, their sole concern if they had the balance of power would be to blackmail the Labour Government to try and get ‘devo max’ or some version of home rule.

Although David Cameron and the Conservatives have done a decent job of ‘scaremongering’, in truth Miliabnd can’t do a deal with the SNP on any level.

And it is also a mistake by Miliband not to rule out any informal arrangement whereby the SNP could offer a Labour minority government support on a vote-by-vote basis, known as "confidence and supply".

Simply put, he should have said, no deals, not ever, end of story.

The SNP's rise in the opinion polls is based on empty vacuous populism where people have been worked up to believe something that doesn’t exist.

What doesn’t exist?

Credible economic policies!

The SNP want £180 billion over the life of the next Parliament spent in the UK; this would push Britain deeper into the red, and is a backward step. Their other stupid idea is control of all taxes; thereby scrapping the Barnett Formula which would lead to 15 pence on income tax in Scotland.

Nordic tax and but not Nordic world class services, doesn’t sound like much of a deal, but the idea is to create further unrest and then blame England to force another referendum or at the minimum continually place the SNP as the devolved Government in Scotland.

Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon had their chance; their window has now closed forever for them. The talk by Salmond about ‘shaking up Westminster’ is pure fantasy; it is another of his incoherent and patronising rubbish to voters.

Remember ‘elect a local champion’ in 2010?

Nicola Sturgeon said her party would strive to bring "positive change across the UK" if it played any role in the next government, serving the UK's interests as well as those of Scotland isn’t in their mindset.

Sturgeon’s statement is such nonsense when you look at the SNP’s record at Westminster, as I said it is pathetic. The idea that they are interested in the welfare of people in England is not borne out by their previous history.

The Conservatives have suggested that Labour was trying to get into power "on the coat tails" of the SNP. It is more the other way round, Sturgeon wants a Labour Government in her pocket which will never happen, and if Miliband did do a deal, the likelihood would be it would lead to another election before the end of the year.

On the other side of the street Miliband said the "real danger" in his opinion was a Conservative government propped up by the UK Independence Party. I think although Ukip should see an increase in their vote, I would think it would be the next general election that they could make their breakthrough.

Especially if there is a Labour Government and no EU referendum, people want an EU referendum, the only vehicle who can deliver that is the Conservative Party who got signed up to it by David Cameron.

Cameron has his own internal domestic problems on the EU and needs a united front, the price an EU vote for the people.
Reacting to Mr Miliband's speech of no deal, Ms Sturgeon said it did not change much, as the parties could still reach an informal arrangement to "keep the Tories out of power".

So, we have Sturgeon not willing to do a deal with ‘blue Tories’ but willing to climb into bed with what the SNP describe as the ‘red Tories’. How many times have people in the SNP said publicly there is no difference between Labour and Conservatives?

I have lost count!

Sturgeon added:

"I've said that I thought a formal coalition with Labour was unlikely, but that I could foresee a circumstance in which we would support a minority Labour government on an issue-by-issue basis."

Blah, blah and blah and for a price!

What Nicola Sturgeon needs to wrap round her head is that she and her cult are seen as a threat to national security in both defence (Trident) and economically, they threaten the entire UK as a whole with financial insecurity.

Nicola should realise that ‘bams’ are very funny to watch sometimes, we marvel at their delusions and rants, but other than that we don’t really have much use for them.

And the same goes for ‘cult leaders’!

Yours sincerely

  1. Ed would never deal with the SNP. He knows like everyone else, it would be like giving whisky to Indians. The SNP are in a panic now and rightly so, because more and more people are realising that they are actually pretty inept at just about everything possible.

  2. The SNP have made a major contribution to both Scotland and the UK as a whole:

    Division.

The SNP are stuck in their fantasy world, seeing no further than Gretna Green. They seem to forget that we now live in a global community.

On Defence matters they are a real threat to security. There was no coherent policy put forward during the Referendum campaign, so how the hell they could influence Westminster is beyond me.

I want Salmond to return to Westminster, as it will screw up the SNP internally as Sturgeon feebly tries to consolidate her position as leader.

  5. I really don't understand why people can't see right through them. Saw a few snp activists dishing out leaflets in Royston yesterday, I am taking these polls with a very large pinch of salt. People I speak to colleagues, friends etc who voted yes the trend seems to be their either not voting at elections or voting labor. Saying they only voted yes for a laugh caught up in the moment type thing. Let's hope this is a trend across the Country.

Long time reader first time commenter. Love the blogs George great to hear a sensible voice through all the bullshit.

  7. Nicola Sturgeon unpopular? You seem to be delusional, she has support across the board and a much higher approval rating than anyone she could reasonably be compared to.
