An SNP councillor faces trial accused of trying to pick up a prostitute.

A ‘Cock of Destiny’ story!

SNP Councillor Bill Holman is alleged to have been looking for sex in Glasgow city centre.

Whether this story will promote SNP ‘anger’ remains to be seen, however, I can’t see it as the SNP leadership appears to be trying to appeal to heterosexuals at present!

Didn’t the SNP rattle on about supporting women being trafficked for sex sometime ago?

Anyway the 65-year-old former town planner was arrested in busy Argyle Street just four days before Christmas last year.

Is Argyle Street a haunt for picking up ‘ladies of the night’?

Anderson Ward is said to be the ‘Red light’ district in Glasgow, it is also the financial district as well, alongside pubs used by the LGBT community.

Since the incident, it’s understood he has been off sick with stress from South Lanarkshire Council.

Hopefully he is still drawing his council salary even although he isn’t doing his job, a guy’s gotta eat!

A council source said:

“Bill is a respected councillor and this has come as a shock. No one has officially been told about the court case.”

Well, they know now!

Holman, of Strathaven, Lanarkshire, appeared at Glasgow Justice of the Peace Court to deny the charges on Thursday and the case was continued for trial next month.

A spokesman for the SNP said:

“Cllr Holman has stepped down from the SNP group while he contests this.”

Police confirmed a 65-year-old was arrested on December 21.

If Councillor Bill Holman is in the market ‘looking for a bird’ can’t the SNP fix him up with someone’s wife?

Ray Winstone branded Scots ‘Tramps’ as a chief export of the Scottish economy under Alex Salmond and SNP leadership, sparking outrage, sadly some people are now playing the ‘race card’, it’s a comedy show get over it!

Actor Ray Winstone has hosted the hit BBC programme Have I got News For You.

The programme takes pot shots at the establishment and society, its tongue in cheek stuff which can be very cutting.

It’s entertainment and as such should be viewed as such.

However Ray Winstone has upset some people by drawn around 100 complaints after calling Scots “tramps”!

In London, there are a lot of homeless Scots who came to the big city and found the streets weren’t paved with gold, these people ended up sleeping rough, on the internet you can see examples of people in this desperate situation from all backgrounds.

Ray Winstone has had 100 complaints filed against him after what is described as ‘anti-Scottish’ jibes.

And of course, the complainers have played the ‘race card’.

Tag someone with a label and then take the moral high ground.

With independence collapsing round the ears of the SNP, their supporters and ilk have gotten into complaining mode.

Viewers became upset about a section of the show addressing Scottish independence.

Ian Hislop joked that the Scottish Government would make Mars bars the nation’s new currency.

Light hearted stuff.

Guest host Winstone said:

“To be fair the Scottish economy has its strengths - its chief exports being oil, whisky, tartan and tramps.”

He then asked the audience if “we should just tell the Scots to bugger off.”

Awhile ago, someone in the independence camp called me a tramp when I appeared in the BBC Big Debate audience, that night everything I was wearing was brand new.

Although Ray Winstone said his stuff in jest, the character that attacked me was full of hate and bile.

In comedy, some people will always be offended, but the right to say it goes under free speech.

Independence brings out the worst in some ‘nationalists’, and as the collapse continues of support these people will be more offended and more outraged.

Ray Winstone can say what he likes; I am not offended because I can recognise that Have I Got News for You is just a light hearted entertainment show.

Winstone isn’t a racist.

Scottish independence: Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon adopted the wrong strategy on currency; now other independence minded people speak out in favour of new Scottish currency, SNP U turn in the pipeline

If enough people tell you that you are drunk, it is best to sit your arse down!

Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon have run the independence campaign so far as a complete shambles.

One can only come to the conclusion that these two buffoons thought that a virtual internet campaign, spin, hype, smoke and mirrors and no substance would win the day.

Oh let’s mention a few street stalls as well.

That is the sum and substance of why things are so bad, these people don’t know what they are doing.

The currency problem is self created, rather than having a range of options, the SNP decided to do no work, that’s no work over 80 years.

What currency Scotland uses is important, I have blogged that there has to be planning for a Scottish pound.

Expect no help from Westminster and you will not be disappointed and plan accordingly.

Salmond and Sturgeon couldn’t grasp that concept.

Now, two leading independence campaigners have spoken out against Alex Salmond's plan for a currency union with the UK.

Jim Fairlie, a former deputy leader of the SNP, said the most sensible option for an independent Scotland would be to establish a new currency.

10 points to that man!

Colin Fox, the leader of the SSP and a Yes Scotland campaign board member, also backed a new currency, arguing the proposed currency zone would hand power and control to the Bank of England.

Although not the smartest tack in the box, Fox can see what Salmond and Sturgeon patently cannot, a new country must have a new currency.

The pair is speaking out a week after Chancellor George Osborne warned the UK was unlikely to agree to a currency union with a newly independent Scotland in the future.

England isn’t going to take the risks of a race to the bottom.

On the off chance the UK did agree, Osborne concluded that, it would place considerable constraints on Scotland's economic policies.

That means they set interest rates and approve the Scottish budget and spending plans.

Hardly independence!

Fairlie dismissed the plan in an article for Options for Scotland, an online forum set up by former party leader Gordon Wilson.

As well as Fairlie, former party leader Gordon Wilson is also onboard in the need for a new currency as well.

Fairlie said:

“If sovereignty means anything at all to the Scottish people, control of their own currency is a prerequisite."

Colin Fox wrote in his blog:

"It goes without saying that keeping the pound or establishing a sterling zone means handing over a considerable amount of power and control over Scotland's economy and spending options to the Bank of England and the City of London. And many will in-evitably ask what then is the point of Independence?"

So, the non backing of the Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon ‘vision’ continues to grow even among those involved in the independence campaign.

Such dissent shows that the Scottish National Party is incapable of leading Scotland to independence under the failing leadership of Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon.

The comments of Fairlie and Wilson echo views voiced by Jim Cuthbert, an economist frequently cited by the SNP, and John Kay, a former economic adviser to the First Minister.

So, when is the U turn coming from the ‘jolly fat man’ and ‘concerned citizen’?

Even the pro-independence Scottish Greens have also urged the SNP to keep the option of a new currency open.

The crash is coming, Yes Scotland the SNP front has run out of ideas, the SNP has no vision, Salmond’s ‘jolly fat man’ routine has failed to win support, polls keep showing decline, and Sturgeon still fails to realise that she can’t turn round the situation.

In 2012, Team Sturgeon was ‘politically ass raped’ by Glasgow Labour Leader Gordon Matheson at the ballot box.

Both cheeks!

Despite entering the race in what must have been the worst possible position that the Labour Party ever experienced, Matheson pulled off a historic win.

In the battle to win Glasgow, Gordon ‘free dinners’ Matheson faced off against the SNP’s Allison Hunter, a Sturgeon crony of unremarkable talent.

At the Sunny Govan Radio hustings and elsewhere, Hunter proved she wasn’t capable of winning the City of Glasgow.

She was and remains a dud!

Someone get that woman a blanket and some hot soup.

Since then, Team Sturgeon has been keen to take out Gordon Matheson for humiliating Nicola Sturgeon.

Dreams of building a Sturgeon power base vanished.

Nicola Sturgeon came to the SECC to hear the result, hoping her cronies would swept to power, the look on her face was different than 12 months previously, she walked in big smiles, she left looking like the angry wee Nat she is.

Revenge!

The George Square redesign was a contest which people could submit their vision for a revamp, the Commonwealth Games are coming up and the Square was looking less than impressive.

Unfortunately, the winning design voted for wasn’t enacted.

Apparently Gordon Matheson 'took the huff' because the one he wanted wasn’t picked; Matheson needs to learn the principle of one man one vote it seems.  

Now; allegations of how the contest was run has plagued the leader of Glasgow City Council with Team Sturgeon jumping on the bandwagon calling for Matheson to resign over the fiasco.

Apparently Team Sturgeon getting shagged up the political arse has had such an effective on their fragile minds that they want to fuck Matheson up the political arse albeit delayed.

Nicola Sturgeon lost the battle of Glasgow in a fair fight, get over it, Labour played a superior hand; strictly speaking they could have played a weak hand and still beaten Sturgeon’s proxy Allison Hunter.

Things have gotten so bad that Matheson is being investigated by police over alleged misconduct during the £100,000 contest to redesign George Square.

The Major Crimes and Public Protection unit is on the job, over claims he interfered with the procurement process for the project.

Gordon ‘free dinners’ Matheson has said he is confident of being cleared of any wrongdoing.

The current proxy for Nicola Sturgeon is Graeme Hendry, the part time leader of the SNP Cllr group; he says Mr Matheson had caused “great embarrassment” to the city.

Presumably he hasn’t watched himself on TV!

Mr Hendry said:

“Councillor Matheson has been accused of some very serious
offences and it is only right and proper they are investigated by all the appropriate organisations, including the police. It would be appropriate for Matheson to consider his position in the council, due to the great embarrassment he has caused the city and the damage he has done to the council’s relationship with the business community.”

This is from a man who said that he would hold Glasgow City Council to account than less than a couple of weeks later, reneged on that promise.

Hendry added:

“Councillor Matheson’s behaviour during the judging process seems to have been highly inappropriate, and the council need to ensure procedures are in place to prevent this happening in the future, whilst also asking Audit Scotland to fully review the
resources wasted.”

Given nothing has been proven, you would think that Hendry would wait until facts are established.

In an act of pure spite, the SNP group has submitted a motion to the next monthly full council in May proposing that Audit Scotland investigate whether any councillors unduly influenced the procurement process.

That motion has no chance of success, it is gesture politics for Nicola Sturgeon, and can a “gesture” really make up for Gordon Matheson doing the entire SNP Team Sturgeon campaign up the political arse?

The SNP motion states that “the debacle has damaged the reputation of this council amongst the architectural community and in wider public perception”.

Cock!

One thing for certain is the people of Glasgow aren’t hanging on anything that SNP Sturgeon proxy Graeme Hendry says on anything.

In a statement issued by the council on his behalf, Mr Matheson said:

“I’m happy for this to be fully investigated. I will give whatever help the police ask me to and am confident there will ultimately be a finding in my favour.”

In other words, it seems that there is no paper trail of wrongdoing.

Gordon Matheson needs his rest, in 2017, he and the Labour Party will politically ass rape Team Sturgeon again, last time, he ‘took them in the rear’, this time, he might also ‘reach around and take them from the front’.

Team Sturgeon need to start grabbing hold of their political ankles now, clearly Glasgow Labour have defined who and who is not a political bitch in this city!

Attacking the gay guy, doesn’t still well with Glaswegians, Nicola Sturgeon should think on that next time she lets her attack dogs off the leash.

And we all see through the 'standing up for Glasgow' lie that she and Team Sturgeon promotes, they don't and the public know it now.

Scottish independence: English SNP MP Angus Robertson treats Scots with contempt by playing the ‘race card’, scrapping the bottom of the barrel isn’t working as new poll shows the continual collapse of indy support

The SNP Westminster leader, Englishman Angus Robertson has claimed the “No” campaign is based on the idea that Scots are “uniquely poor”, “stupid” and “incapable” of self-government.

Race politics!

Race politics is scrapping the bottom of the political barrel.

Did Mr. Roberson think that playing the ‘race card’, people sitting eating their ‘din dins’ would suddenly drop everything and run to the barricades to support him, Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon?

All he did was look stupid and he achieved this with no help from the Unionists.

He also rather clumsily appears to be trying to link ‘Scots’ to the SNP.

A rather poor attempt at spinning much like a 16 year old male tugging at his first set of female panties!

Fumble, fumble, fumble!

Scottish independence support has completely collapsed, the latest poll at the weekend is more bad news for the Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon; it is a rock solid 60% in favour of remaining part of the UK.

Well done Nicola, another week of complete and abject failure. 

The positive campaign much heralded by the SNP is nothing of the sort, Robertson yet again proves that.

He said in an interview:

“They are running around trying to scare people into voting No. I think it says something about the paucity of the argument in favour of the Union that the only case they seem to be making is that people in Scotland are uniquely poor, stupid and incapable of governing themselves.”

Mr Robertson has been in politics a long time but unfortunately he can’t sell his product because he doesn’t understand what his product is, which puts him in the same boat as much of the rest of the SNP.
 

Simple people who think they are strategic political masterminds, failing to understand that they are in fact never minds!

Personally I object to some dumb bastard putting forward I am unable to think for myself and reason matters out.

Anyway, Robertson continues:

“I think it reflects more on themselves and their lack of ideas – rather than the case we are making, which is based on hope and progress.”

What a load of shite!

What case, a case based on spin, hype, wee flags, balloons and few street stalls, turning up at other people’s demos and latching onto them!

Alex Salmond is running around playing the role of a ‘jolly fat man’, alongside Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon who has tried to craft a role as a ‘concerned citizen’!

Better Together responded by rejecting Robertson’s claim.

A spokesman said:

“The only people who peddle this line are the Nationalists. No-one from Better Together thinks that Scotland couldn’t go it alone – we think that it is better for our economy, our jobs and our future if we stay together with the rest of the UK. The Nationalists are only interested in dividing people. We think that we are stronger when we work together.”

Robertson added:

“We live in an interdependent world in the 21st century and the independence that we seek is that of the 21st century and not the 19th century. In many respects, we look forward to working with a degree of continuity – not least and most importantly – the social union. That means that none of us are foreigners. We are good friends and rivals.”

You may remember David Cameron appeared to respond to Angus Robertson in the House of Commons mouthing silently:

“will you fuck off”!

In pure SNP grudge, grievance and malcontent fostered over 30 years, the Moray MP says that an independent Scotland would “enhance” the Commonwealth, which was “taken for granted” by the UK.

How?

Made a statement; but where is the evidence!

It is an assumption and as we all know assumption is the mother of all fuck alls.

Holding Angus Robertson in the interview was his colleague Angus MacNeil, the MP for the Western Isles.

I remember Mr. MacNeil, at a by-election he declared that he was ‘in charge’ of the sign in sheets, which presumably meant that the lazy bastard wasn’t going to do any work, such a talent.

So, last week was a disaster for the SNP, George Osborne effectively killed off currency union, Yes Scotland was exposed as an SNP front, Blair Jenkins continues in his post which is rather unfortunate if you are serious about winning independence and the latest poll shows no one is interested in Salmond’s vision.

 

To sink as low as to using race politics is a new low, and a measure of how desperate the nationalist camp has become of late.

No George Laird radical thinking!

I think that in future Englishman Angus Robertson should keep quiet, and certainly stop trying to pass himself off as Scottish.

Scottish independence: Yes Scotland, funded by the SNP, run by the SNP for the benefit of the SNP, Euan McColm clears away the myth that Yes Scotland isn’t an SNP front using evidence, press adopting the George Laird view

There I was pottering about and then I came across an article By Euan McColm.

It raises the issue that anyone knows in the SNP and beyond, Yes Scotland is an SNP front.

In Glasgow, you can’t have failed to noticed that the number of “Yes branches” match the same number of SNP branches, and that “Yes whoever” within the City is run by SNP members.

They take off their SNP hat and don their Yes Scotland hat.

It is complete bullshit.

Yes Scotland campaign makes great play of the diversity of its membership and support.

It’s a coalition of the damned, handicapped by a complete lack of original thought.

On twitter, I asked Patrick Harvie of the Greens a question awhile ago, do the Greens campaign at Yes Scotland/ SNP events?

No reply; fairly straightforward question, no reason not to answer it, but curiously Patrick didn’t.

Yes Scotland’s front man is chief executive Blair Jenkins OBE, what does he know about political campaigning?

I would say nil, however he probably has seen it on TV!

And as we are all aware, those of us who are awake; the SNP has their “key staff” in paid positions and of course on the board.

So, at every level the SNP is there, and despite this Mr. Jenkins insists this isn’t an SNP front and to say so is a smear.

Apparently, it’s a grassroots organisation as Euan says “overgrowing with compassionate, and almost exclusively ordinary and local, Scots”.

That is such cock!

The only ordinary Scots would be the mugs who they get to deliver leaflets.

A couple of weeks ago, Jenkins gave a speech, the speech was a business dinner organised by Yes West Lothian.

So what are the odds that Yes West Lothian is run by SNP members?

I would say without a doubt pretty high.

Jenkins explained:

“Yes has been much more visible and audible throughout Scotland, a genuine grassroots movement with more than 150 local groups now up and running and new ones emerging every month.”

And the percentage of these groups will probably be SNP branches just like the Glasgow set up.

But we shouldn’t forget other little organizations which have suddenly sprung up, these groups also have SNP members helping running them such as ‘Women for Independence’ and ‘Out for Independence’.

So, let us not kid ourselves that there is broad base support or even independent voices speaking out for independence.

It is just the same people popping up in different guises.

Presumably we are all supposed to be too dumb to notice, even on Twitter, we see the ‘I’m not in the SNP but I am voting indy’, then you scroll down their followers and see who they are connect to ….,SNP members.    

Jenkins added:

“Yes Scotland has support from people of all parties and – like myself – none. On our board are Patrick Harvie of the Scottish Greens and Colin Fox of the Scottish Socialist Party; we also have distinctive non-party voices like Pat Kane and Elaine C Smith; and of course, the formerly Labour but now formidably independent Dennis Canavan is our Chair. Yet Better Together asserts in the face of this evidence that "Yes Scotland is simply an SNP front". The smears start here.”

Both of these people are attached to the SNP, Kane is connected to Joan McAlpine MSP and Elaine C Smith I have met at an SNP event, specifically ‘Ask Alex’.

Harvie is probably in it because it helps his Green cause, and as to Colin Fox, it is to try and rebuild his SSP Party which was wiped out in 2007.

Jenkins continued:

“Yes Scotland runs a positive campaign and we never indulge in personal or sweeping attacks. Better Together says falsely and again without producing any evidence that we are part of a "co-ordinated dirty-tricks campaign". The smears go on.”

As Euan articulates Jenkins’ claims are clearly bogus.

Or it could be that Jenkins is such a shit Chief Executive he doesn’t know what is going on around him?

And he missed the little Yes Scotland campaign of a wince-inducing open letter to George Osborne with the pay-off that the only thing an independent Scotland would “lose” for sure would be him?

Osborne wouldn’t be missed, but then neither will Alex Salmond when he goes, and as we are seeing Salmond is looking increasingly like exiting stage left before George Osborne.

I see Jenkins as a patsy; he is the front man much like Dennis Canavan, to portray it’s a big happy family of "ordinary people" coming together.

The reality is that Yes Scotland is in the main the coming together of the non elected SNP clique picking up ‘an earner’, it’s just such bullshit.

But despite all this we have Jenkins’s angry insistence that Yes Scotland is not an SNP-front (a claim made despite the fact that the bulk of its financial support comes from either the party or its donors).

There is no independent thought there, and Euan is saying what I have said, however, I am more robust, I call Yes Scotland a SNP crony ridden pit.

And the evidence keeps on mounting, the narrative of the SNP appears as the narrative of Yes Scotland, it’s the same people who are attached to Salmond and Sturgeon in the party.

And it uses identical lines to the Scottish Government.

When Sturgeon used the “scaremongering” line, it was automatically picked up and used in a Yes Scotland statement.

Great minds thinking alike!

No.

Interestingly Euan highlights the Sterling zone issue which I have blogged on, Yes Scotland’s position is exactly the same as the Scottish Government, and that is also the SNP position.

But as Blair Jenkins says, and also rejects Yes Scotland isn’t an SNP front.

On the day the date for indy was announced, Yes Scotland within minutes of Alex Salmond giving the day to Parliament, posted a picture of the date stage managed in a Glasgow Street.

Jenkins said he didn’t know in advance but apparently several of his staff seemed to have, and they all left the Yes Scotland Office to do the photo session, and he also apparently didn’t notice that his staff had walked out circa 2 pm. 

Euan asks an interesting question:

“So if Yes Scotland isn’t a SNP front, what is it? A Government department, maybe?”

The question is easy, Yes Scotland is an SNP front which has hangers on which make up the ‘coalition of the damned’, there is no original thought, it is running a virtual campaign with SNP branches effectively trying to pass themselves off as Yes whoever.

Yes Scotland is like Pravda, the newspaper of the Communist Party in old mother Russia, and the longer the campaign goes on the more desperate they will become, already they have failed to generate support or a narrative which people are buying into.

All their work so far has been a complete waste of time, recently they staged an attempt to win the mock referendum at Glasgow University, full time Yes Scotland staff, SNP Cabinet Ministers, SNP members and Patrick Harvie (looking rather lost), and pushing herself forward to lead it was Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

Complete utter failure, apparently Ms. Sturgeon must have thought her popularity would win the day.

Disaster, a mistake to personally campaign on the campus streets which I said was wrong.

George Laird right again, when you spend 20 years at Glasgow University, you understand the mentality of the student body.  

To return to Mr. Jenkins of Yes Salmond, his leadership is poor, he needs an assistant who thinks politically and independently of the SNP, independence had to be run by the SNP as a special, they treated it like an another election.

They set up a phoney organisation filled with their cronies who couldn’t organise ‘getting their hole in a barrel of fannies; and from the get go, it was always going to fail.

This is supposed to be a community based movement, and the community isn’t turning up.

Blair Jenkins has got to go or have the guts to kick the Team Sturgeon cronies out the door, Somerville, Lythgoe, Kane, Noon and Mackie and any other Sturgeon crony that has took up residence……. ‘get the fuck out’!

Name the movie that line came from!

Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon joins Angus Robertson in muckraking of a Better Together donation, angry wee Nat et al talk of ‘morality’ when SNP released biggest mass murderer in Scottish prison history

The Scottish independence campaign has collapsed, the SNP is desperate; the people are turning their backs on Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon.

 Despite claiming that they are running a ‘positive’ campaign, it is hardly the case.

At present the SNP are seizing on anything to try and discredit Better Together.

The latest is the row over political donations by the head of oil trader Vitol.

 The issue was raised at Prime Minister's Questions by the SNP.

Angus Robertson, the English SNP MP is leading the charge.

And has questioned whether it was appropriate for David Cameron to accept donations from the head of the company, Ian Taylor.

The simple answer is yes, he is a businessman, and incase Mr. Roberston doesn’t get it; in business you don’t always do business with ‘nice people’.

As well as Robertson joining the ‘hunt’, Scotland’s angry wee Nat, Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has joined in.

Because as the ‘face of independence’ she thinks her utterances carry some weight, and she is looking increasingly desperate these days for some kind of success.

Sturgeon is calling for the no campaign to return the money. 

As well as asking for the money to be returned, she wants an investigation.

It’s a sick joke, Nicola Sturgeon calling for an investigation.

Does Ms. Sturgeon have any evidence of wrong doing?

If she does, has she been to the Police?

I don’t think she has any real evidence, and sadly the authorities don’t do witch hunts based on party political gossip.

As well as the Better Together donation, Mr. taylor has given money to the Conservative Party.

At Westminster, David Cameron isn’t on friendly terms with the SNP.

Apparently there is a video which possibly looks like Cameron silently mouthing to Angus Robertson, ‘will you fuck off’!

The SNP is questioning the morality of accepting Taylor’s money.

Could they not turn that forensic microscope onto themselves for a moment, the SNP leadership stinks to high heaven, it isn’t the case that ‘decent people’ are standing up for what is right.

Alex Salmond, Nicola Sturgeon and Peter Murrell aren’t decent people, not by my definition; they have turned the SNP into a ‘rat ship’.

If Ian Taylor wishes to donate to something he believes in that is entirely his affair.

Angus Robertson and the SNP aren’t Defenders of Justice, they are just latching onto anything to try and shift support which has firmly moved away from them.

The SNP are running an ill-judged, bad tempered, nasty, vile, crony ridden campaign and no amount of smoke and mirrors will change that in the minds of the public.

And less we forget, it was the Scottish National Party which released the biggest mass murderer and terrorist ever held in a Scottish Prison.

And they are talking about morality?

Many people saw the release of Megrahi as being all about securing the minority vote for Nicola Sturgeon in Glasgow Southside.

Many people saw the release of Megrahi as being all about sticking two fingers up to Westminster.

In Mr. Taylor’s case there is no suggestion that he has breached any law.

Angus Robertson is just muckraking, using Parliament to attack a man who doesn’t get the same opportunity to defend himself.

Where’s the morality in that?

David Cameron said it was "regrettable that the Hon Gentleman tries to play some sort of political card".

This story is chip paper wrapper material, Angus Robertson has no gravitas, and Nicola Sturgeon intervention is just comical.

To put Nicola Sturgeon into context, here is what she said:

“My conviction that Scotland should be independent stems from the principles, not of identity or nationality, but of democracy and social justice”.

Then she fucked off and left Joyce Juszczak to die, Joyce lost a third of a kidney before she got the drug she needed.

Nicola Sturgeon done the photo op, then bailed on her.

Morality?

Sturgeon already is as bankrupt as the Scottish independence campaign she is running, the fear oozes out of her and Alex Salmond.

As to Englishman Angus Robertson, certainly not one of life’s great thinkers, just a pasty playing petty politics!

It was a disastrous interview of ‘trying to hold the fort’.

Apparently there is no plan McB.

If Alex Salmond can’t get a Sterling Zone deal that means Scotland has no central bank, bottom line, I would suggest that Salmond and Sturgeon would then take Scotland into the Euro.

Alternatively, they would have to go for what is the real option, set up a separate Scottish currency.

That isn’t problem free.

Nigel Farage’s star is on the rise, his UKIP Party has capitalised on the failure of the big three UK parties to address voters concerns.

In the Eastleigh by-election, the party’s candidate saw a 24 point swing in her direction, although she didn’t win, she was by miles a much better candidate than the eventual winner from the Lib Dems.

Can UKIP keep the momentum going?

Well, things aren’t getting better and the public want change.

Austerity is crippling the UK economy.

Anyway, although UKIP has made a real breakthrough in Scotland, Nigel Farage has entered the Scottish indy debate.

He has dismissed out of hand the SNP's desire for a currency union, saying it was difficult to see how Scotland would be truly independent if a foreign country controlled its interest rates.

And he is absolutely right; we have seen the failed Euro model literally tear apart weaker countries such as Greece.

When it comes to money, there is no ‘partnership of equals’, in theory, Sterling currency union can’t work for Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon.

The rest of the UK will put their priorities ahead of Scotland.

Things would get worse in Scotland and that would lead to a move by the SNP towards the Euro and access to the European Central Bank to recapitalise Scotland.

Then, we would have all our assets sold off to pay for it, unbelievable austerity and massive cuts to the public services.

And all because Alex Salmond couldn’t be bothered to do the work for independence!

But, we should remember, the Scottish National Party is a one man band, that is why in key areas there is no detail, and what detail is forthcoming is of such poor quality.

There really is a genuine lack of talent in the Scottish National Party, the party is run as a clique, a not very intelligent clique.

Speaking to Westminster journalists, Farage denied he was England's version of Alex Salmond, saying the First Minister lived in "dreamland."

On all the major issues, NATO, EU, defence, currency, health, education and law, it’s all blowing back now.

Farage is right when he says Scotland couldn’t achieve independence while being a member of the European Union.

Down the line, we would be forced to join the Euro.

It is so obvious the road that Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon are headed, they once on the slippery slope can’t go back.

It’s why we need a separate Scottish currency.

On the issue of an independent Scotland joining the UK in a sterling zone, he said:

"Of course, Scotland can if it wishes use sterling as a means of exchange – Panama uses the US dollar – but it is difficult to see how independent a country can be if it doesn't actually control its own currency and the interest rates that effect that currency."

Mr Farage said it was a "delicious irony" that what had "sunk" the independence campaign was the assertion by Jose Manuel Barroso, the European Commission President, that an independent Scotland seeking EU membership would have to join the euro.

He added:

"The Scottish people looked at that and said no."

He went on: "You can't have it both ways... Either you are independent or you're not."

And that really sums up the current state of affairs, the ‘plans’ aren’t in place, there is no alternatives and the SNP keep making assumptions on what they think others will do, on the basis that they say so!

And that isn’t happening as George Osborne outlined, Sterling Zone isn’t on the table.

From ‘dreamland to Skintland’, the Alex Salmond journey continues, stopping off to refuel on curries.

Imagine all the independence activists who are waking up to discovered that they really have been played for mugs by Salmond!

John Swinney got an easy ride last night by Gordon Brewer, but the closer the day of Alex Salmond’s political death at the ballot box draws near, the greater the heat will be turned up.

It’s an issue of trust and as we are continually seeing, Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon can’t be trusted on anything.

That’s a problem!

It’s a separate Scottish currency and always was a separate Scottish currency for independence!

If you do, then you are in for a treat, the chickens have come to roost for Alex Salmond and Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

A new Treasury report has effectively sunk their idea of a ‘partnership of equals’ on currency.

The conclusions in the report shows yet again, that Scotland needs its own currency if it is to be independent.

The lack of genuine talent in the Scottish National Party has produced no viable solution to the currency problem.

This means that ann independent Scotland would have to give up control over key elements of its economy if it wants to keep on using the pound.

Chancellor George Osborne fired the official broadside today.

Under Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon’s incompetence, an iIndependent Scotland would have no control over “macroeconomic framework”.

Independence supporters must be waking up this morning and wondering, exactly what have Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon actually done to prepare Scotland for its independence bid?

Precious little!

Osborne chose Glasgow, the heart of the Labour Empire to launch a Treasury analysis of the implications of a Scottish vote for independence in next year’s referendum.

And then he dropped the Bomb, the UK is unlikely to agree to a new sterling zone between the two countries.

What about Alex Salmond’s ‘jolly fat man’ routine?

Everything is nirvana and everyone will get two acres and a mule strategy appears to be unraveling day by day.

Osborne chipped in by saying:

“I think it is unlikely that the rest of the United Kingdom would agree to or we could make work a euro-style currency zone with Scotland.”

Regular readers possible may remember I said that the UK would adopt a quite simple straightforward position.

You’re getting fuck all!

Plan McB by Salmond and Sturgeon?

Please; there wasn’t even a credible plan A.

Time for a quote by Alex Salmond:

“My problem is that I have too many talented people and not enough Cabinet positions.”

A whole Cabinet and they can't even draw up a viabale currency plan.

Osborne then decided to take a dig at SNP Fantasy politics:

“It is all very well for the SNP to assert that’s what they would like. I think it is unlikely that it could be made to work and therefore if Scotland wants to keep the pound the best way to do that is to stay in the United Kingdom. Scotland could go on using the pound, rather like Panama uses the American dollar, but it would have absolutely no control at all over

its currency or its macroeconomic framework. There are some countries in the world that use other countries’ currencies without their consent if you like, but it’s a very, very difficult option for a country to undertake.”

Scottish Finance Secretary John Swinney said Scotland could walk away from its share of the UK’s debts if the Westminster government refuses to come to “a rational and considered agreement”.

That isn’t even a credible threat.

To offset the bad news, later today, the Scottish Government will publish the findings of its Fiscal Commission Working Group.

And it is more bad news in a lesser way for Salmond and Sturgeon; their Working Group backs the idea of a sterling currency zone, along similar lines to the eurozone.

Trouble is rather than solving the problem properly, it is a halfway house.

Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon propose that a foreign country sets our interest rates, economic and fiscal policies, which can mean we have less say than we do at present, all of the problems and none of the benefits.

And we aren’t even anywhere near the European Union debacle yet which the SNP made spurious claims only to be shown up as liars!

Another day and more comes out regarding the lack of competence of Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon!

Maybe someone should get them 'paper cups' so they can go begging in the streets, start small in the world of finance and then work their way up.

Patently Salmond can’t be trusted on currency, he is gambling with people’s lives, their assets, savings and mortgages!

Hardly a man for all seasons, more like a man for all curries, currency is proving too hot for him to stomach tho.

Glasgow City Council had a contest to redesign George Square; this attracted a number of entries.

One thing you would expect that the contest would be fair, open and honest.

Everyone entered in good faith and it isn’t unreasonable to expect the competition to be run in that manner.

However, it appears questions have been asked about the running of this contest which has ended up with Glasgow Council Leader; ­Gordon Matheson taking the huff that his preferred design wasn't being chosen.

Now, Gordon ‘free dinners’ Matheson has been reported to ethics watchdog with allegations that he breached of the code of conduct as a councilor.

The SNP is calling for his resignation and asked that Matheson to “do the honourable thing” by considering his position, and accused him of “damaging” the city’s reputation.

Maybe the SNP should put its own house in order before trying to tackle the problem of George Square.

So, what is Matheson facing?

Well, the claims are attempting to coerce staff, improper bias, interfering in a legally defined procurement process, and trying to be “directly involved” in the local council’s operational management.

The competition collapsed in January, when the judging panel selected a blueprint from John McAslan & Partners from six shortlisted entries, only for Mr Matheson to announce the council had scrapped the initiative.

In layman’s terms that is called a ‘bad loser’.

The complaint sent to the Public Standards Commissioner includes a statement from Kerr Robertson, until recently the council’s lead architect and projects ­director.

He alleges, he was told six weeks before the final judging process began that “Gordon Matheson [would] be allowed to choose the winning design”, and that he was asked to ensure “other jury members would fall in line with this”.

Straightaway, we have council sources suggesting Mr Robertson may have had a grudge against Mr Matheson.

This is pretty standard stuff, someone makes a comment or complaint and then they get attacked, it is a tactic well known in the Scottish National Party.

This attack was countered by someone close to the project who said:

“The suggestion he might have a grudge against Cllr Matheson is absolutely ­absurd. He had always been the most supportive, diligent, and hugely professional employee of Glasgow City Council.”

A spokesman for Mr Matheson said:

“Even the RIAS make it clear in the complaint that they can’t find a rule they think has been broken and they acknowledge that the competition was well run. They are also clear that they have no evidence of ­anyone attempting to improperly ­influence the jury.”

So, it seems that Gordon ‘free dinners’ Matheson according to reports has nothing to fear, as much as the SNP try to take Matheson out, he keeps slipping the jab, bobbing and weaving.

Gordon Matheson crushed Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon’s dream of Team Sturgeon taking over Glasgow City Council.

The then SNP leader Allison Hunter was genuinely pathetic as a leader, she led that campaign into ‘the shitter’ and the Labour Party pulled the chain and flushed them away.

In truth, Sturgeon’s cronies weren’t up to the task even with the Glasgow Labour Party on its knees, bad council management, Labour councilors in scandal after scandal.

Allison Hunter also secured Labour victory in the 2017 council election which given current trends will see Gordon ‘free dinners’ Matheson walk it, there is a genuine lack of talent in the SNP.

So, will Graeme Hendry, the part time SNP leader’s attack have much effect?

About as much as Nicola Sturgeon’s ‘popularity’ is driving the indy debate ‘forward’ for the independence camp.

I was trying to highlight that although Tommy Sheridan, ‘brother’ ‘comrade’ cloth cap, donkey jacket and ‘hero of the working class’ spouts on about the poor, his lifestyle certainly isn’t.

“Either the householder is Tommy Sheridan or someone else is putting him up there”.

I think we can be fairly certain; Tommy’s home is his castle.

No, but in this case regarding me, you are wrong, I am working class, true I have been to uni, taught in the place but also I was doing the shit jobs as well.

At uni my first job was as a ‘womble’.

Add to it ever poll has indy crashing through the floor, this is all in the public domain, do you remember Salmond going on about the ‘Celtic block’ of 20 MPs in 2010?

The same 6 as he had in previously, and that is because the SNP isn’t seen as credible at Westminster, just like the NATO debacle, people have been allowed to fester alongside bankrupt policies and the public do notice.

Alex Salmond knows the game is up, of course, I don’t expect you to notice the same things I do, or how they all add up.

Regardless of all that, I have a track record of calling it right, which is pretty good, and I am telling you, Scottish independence support has completely collapsed and Alex Salmond, Nicola Sturgeon and Peter Murrell can’t fix it.

So, are you out fighting the ‘good fight’ doing Yes Scotland events?

If you are, you will notice the lack of personnel as just a handful of people turn up; this is because the majority of SNP members wouldn’t turn out for Salmond and Sturgeon.

Why should they when they read how badly others get treated.

Last SNP Conference was a major flop, the big ‘we are on our way’ never even got out of the car park.
