One of the funniest incidents of the night at the count at the SECC was provided by the Scottish Tories.
When the regional list candidates were read out, Tory Ruth Davidson was elected.
This prompted a massive cheer by them in the hall.
Out of 9 possible chances of sending someone to Holyrood, they achieved no first past the post seats.
And only one on the regional list!
They cheered so loud that you would think they had won the lottery.
And then they did a group photo like a football team who had won the Scottish Cup.
They should enjoy their moment in the limelight because they have precious little else to celebrate.
In constituencies they were crushed.
Totally crushed!
