Police charge foreign national with terror offences under Terrorism Act (2000), we must make sure there is no place for terrorists to hide in Scotland

Dear All

The wait is over!

No; not the Holyrood election result, the guy sitting in Govan Police Station.

He has been arrested in connection with the Stockholm suicide bombing.

And charged with terrorism offences!

Strathclyde Police released this statement:

"Strathclyde Police can confirm that a 30-year-old man has been charged with offences under the Terrorism Act (2000). This follows an operation in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow on Tuesday March 8."

At present the foreign national’s name is being withheld.

So, in the style of the old John Denver song:

‘he’s leaving on a jet plane, no chance that he will be coming back again’!

Sweden bound.

I expect he wouldn’t be coming ‘home’ to a celebration since the welcome party will be Swedish Police and their Intelligence Services.

Lucky for the people of Scotland, no occurrence of the Glasgow Airport Bomb plot took place.

But first let the Scottish Courts deal with him before he gets shipped off.

Yours sincerely
