Dear All
One of the most noticeable aspects of the Steven ‘bin laden’ Purcell scandal is how slow both the Crown Office run by Elish ‘Labour’ Angiolini and Strathclyde Police have acted.
Despite Purcell admitting to taking Class A drugs, both these organisations have sat on their hands and done nothing.
I would like to offer an opinion why this is the case.
They don’t want to upset the Labour Party.
Unfortunately for Team Angiolini and Strathclyde Police there is an SNP Government who is looking at this bizarre situation in wonder.
You have a public confession by Purcell taking Class A drugs in a newspaper.
All sorts of questions spring from that admission, mostly legal.
We then have the spectacle of the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency (SCDEA) dropping by at the city chambers previously with Purcell.
A spokesman for Strathclyde Police said it was currently assessing information.
Oh really, let’s hope that assessment includes a warrant for Steven ‘bin laden’ Purcell, he is coming back to answer questions if Strathclyde Police do their job properly.
Former Lord Advocate Lord Fraser of Carmyllie has said it is “astonishing” both the police and the Crown Office had not investigated the circumstances surrounding Purcell’s resignation until now.
It is amazing what bad publicity and an SNP Government can do to focus the minds.
Even now, Team Angiolini is kicking and screaming looking into this, a spokesman said;
“The procurator fiscal is liaising with Strathclyde Police in relation to this matter, in light of recent alleged admissions to the press in relation to the use of Class A drugs.”
A statement from a desperate man who is career orientated?
I am not a fan of Elish ‘Labour’ Angiolini because she is in my opinion unsuitable to be the Lord Advocate in charge of the Crown Office.
The slowness of the Crown Office as Former Lord Advocate Lord Fraser of Carmyllie says is astonishing but not unexpected; we live in a corrupt country.
There is a clear duty for both the Crown Office and Strathclyde Police to act in a matter of public interest.
It is embarrassing watching them dragging their heels as slowly as possible pretending to do their jobs.

I have said it before and I will say it again to the SNP Government, Elish ‘Labour‘ Angiolini has to go.
Yours sincerely

Not absolutely sure about this, but isn't the crime 2being in possession of controlled substances2, rather than admitting to taking them?
