It is General Election time, for people in political parties; it is pressure 24/7 trying to get their candidates elected.
Political Activists, elected Politicians and their staff are all out and about telling you about the ‘big’ picture.
I would like you for a moment take one step back, and think about something else, the small picture.
Precious and Florence Mhango, they are asylum seekers, Precious and her mum don’t get a vote this election.
I have posted on them before but I do so again because there is always one more thing to do to keep them safe.
Before Xmas the Home Secretary Alan Johnson to his credit released both Precious and her mum from the Yarls detention centre where they were being held subject to deportation to Malawi.
They need your help again because they still haven’t been granted leave to remain.
Precious and her mum stay in Cranhill area of Glasgow; were they are very much a part of the local community.
The election will throw up a lot of talk about community; help your neighbour and how we should think of others.
There are two ways that I would ask you to help.

This little girl and her mother have a case for staying which is legal and moral but in a Court of Law sometimes the correct decision doesn’t always prevail and people suffer.
