Gordon Brown finally names the day of the 2010 General Election, now the SNP have to get the people's 'local champions' elected to do some good

Dear All

So, we finally have a date for the General Election, ‘bottler’ Gordon Brown has plumped for 6th May.

It will be Judgement day in morally corrupt Britain.

As much as the economy is important, there is another aspect to this election, electing a ‘local champion’.

It is time to throw out the corrupt, the useless and the lazy.

Each of the political parties will bring forward a manifesto which they hope will sway you but you have to look deeper than that.

Every seat is a by-election on the integrity of the holder and his record in public office.

Words will be banded about like ‘change’ and variations on that word but the change has to come from you as voters, don’t accept rhetoric, look closely at each and every candidate and what they stand for, what they have done and what they have said in the past.

Make 2010, a ‘thinking voters election’, ask the difficult questions, don’t just accept what is put throw your door.

If people wish to be worthy of your vote then they should be worthy enough to answer your questions.

After 13 years in power, the Labour Party has ruled over a country that has become more divided socially and economically while espousing about fairness and equality.

The gap between rich and poor is at its widest in 40 years.

People are fed up with lies, lies and lies.

Broken Britain isn’t just a catchphrase; it is part of every day life.

That is why is crucial to elect a ‘local champion’ who will work hard in the community for the community.

In Scotland in this election, the Scottish National Party has the opportunity to put forward a dynamic vision for what a future independent Scotland can offer the people.

That is why I have a new catchphrase for the SNP;

‘See SNP, Ask Me’.

People have questions and when you see the SNP Activists and Candidates out campaigning in your area, take the time to ask what they are going to do to make your community better.

If they impress you then use your vote to make a difference and vote your local SNP Candidate into public office.

Yours sincerely
