Labour Candidate William Bain wins Glasgow North East but the people lose

Dear All

Labour Candidate William Bain won the Glasgow North East by election last by 8,111 votes.

Or to be more correct English Labour Activists were brought up from England to swamp the community.

At some polling stations the English Labour Activists were taking polling card numbers off people going to the polling stations to record the numbers before handing them back with a Labour leaflet.

So Bain won but the people of Glasgow North East lost.

These people are effectively suffering from Stockholm syndrome, this is a psychological response sometimes seen in abducted hostages, in which the hostage shows signs of loyalty to the hostage-taker, regardless of the danger or risk in which they have been placed.

The people of Glasgow North East have green lit the Labour Party to continually take liberties with them.

So let’s remember Bain’s action plan for Glasgow North East. Here is what he promised and is never going to be delivered by him.

1/ Stopping Glasgow getting ripped off
2/ Crack down on crime
3/ Help Glasgow pensioners & families through tough times
4/ Better shops, better buses, and better homes.

In six months before the next General Election, not a single issue promised by William Bain will be delivered on.

Before the General election ain won’t challenge Brown to provide the help and under the next Tory Government he will have no power to effect any change whatsoever.

And what about the pounds and pence!

Not a single extra penny will be spent by the UK Government.

The people of Glasgow North East voted to be used and ignored.

Finally, 45 years of broken election promises to rebuild Springburn Burgh Hall say all you need to know about the situation there.

Yours sincerely

  1. Good blog George,

Many people will be feeling rather dazed today!

Lets not forget Bain also promised to raise the minimum wage yearly, along with pensions and job seekers allowance.

Bain forgot to mention that it's Browns intention to stop attendance allowance which will leave the most vulnerable pensioners to suffer and fall further into poverty than they already are!

Caught with a knife, directly to jail?
We all know that this is not within his reach!

    Sincerely Gutted!

  3. Dear Anon

It is a real shame that 40,000 people couldn't be bothered to vote.

4 out of 5 voters failed to cast a vote for William Bain.

    Not exactly a mandate.

    But he won.

    Labour's majority dropped by 20%.

The SNP also have some hard thinking to do.

Not the end of the world, the SNP get another chance in six months.

Disappointing; I thought David Kerr fought a good campaign, he deserved a better return at the ballot box.

  5. Now we have to square the snp mantra of 74 years of labour rule with

'under the next Tory Government he will have no power to effect any change whatsoever'

  6. Dear Mxyzptlk

Regardless who is in control of Westminister, Tory or Labour, Bain will not deliver on his action plan.

He might run to a few letters to ask others to do his job for him, funded by the taxpayer.

That is about the strength of it.

    And you know it.

    Yours sincerely
