Monkeys get evicted from Zambia State House over urinegate scandal

Dear All

Zambia's president is pissed off, monkey piss to be exact.

When you stand for political office you expect to get a rough ride but when the wildlife climbs trees and urinates on you, firm action is needed.

While talking a Press conference President Rupiah Banda was caught off guard and was hosed down by a monkey enjoying life up a tree.

The President although a bit wet after the encounter managed to retain his sense of humour and laugh it off.

Having said that he decided that officials elected to high office must be able to walk free and evicted a group of some 200 primates from State House.

The monkeys have been relocated to parkland outside the capital Lusaka.

About 61 monkeys have already been caught and moved to the Munda Wanga Botanical Gardens land.

It is only a matter of time before the rest have to pack their bags and move out. As always there is always one that spoils it for the rest of society.

As well as monkeys there are many species of antelope and bird in the State House and hopefully they will get the message and be good neighbours!

I wonder if the President got a ticket on the lottery that week.

Yours sincerely
