It’s the time to be cheerful, so Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family, be safe and well, don't drink and drive, enjoy the holidays and if you get the chance, do a good deed because you can’t buy that type of happiness

Dear All

Well folks, it’s that time of the year again so without further ado; Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family when it comes! It has been a year of ups and downs, where some people in the political arena have fallen on their swords and others have shown how out of their depth they are.

2017 has still seen Brexit going forward, the winds of change are starting to be felt not just in Scotland but right across Europe, the ripple will continue.

I would like to thank all the people who took the opportunity to drop by the blog to read and comment on the stories posted. I would also like to thank those who read my stories and decided to post them elsewhere.

I would also like to thank the BBC in London for dropping by this year, I do commentating on TV, hint, hint hint, maybe one day someone will take the hint!

All in all, it was a good year for blogging; I saw many of my predictions unfolded before my eyes yet again.

My political highlights this year were standing for councillor in Pollok, and of course helping three people get elected to Westminster.

Years ago, I gave former SNP MP Anne McLaughlin a constituency case which she never bothered herself to do anything about, I never forgot that, so when in 2017 the opportunity presented it self to dump her out of public office, I jumped at the chance.

Sadly Anne never saw the effort I put in to put her out in the street.

Former SNP MP Anne McLaughlin knows I am a good and hard campaigner, and when she lost her seat by 242 votes, justice was done, and for the people of Glasgow North East, they got a much better MP in the shape of Paul Sweeney. As to where I will campaign and for whom, I haven’t decided yet.

Yours sincerely
