Dear All
All that is wrong in the modern Labour Party can be summed
up in one incident by the fact that Sarah Champion, the Labour MP has been forced
to step down for speaking out about child sex grooming by the Pakistani
community.
It is well known and there have been countless reported and
historical cases of Muslim Pakistani men preying on under age white female
children from deprived areas.
The areas read like a where’s where of deprivation areas, we
recently seen Newscastle hit the headlines.
After telling the truth, Sarah Champion has been "punished"
and "used as a scapegoat" as if she had done something in telling the
truth. In politics, minority groups have joined political parties as a vehicle
to further their own ends. I once heard at a polling station a Muslim Labour
Candidate say to an Asian family coming down to vote that it was ‘important’
that ‘one of us’ get elected. I was appalled because I had known this
individual in passing and never thought he was like that, turns out I was
wrong.
But then you never truly know people do you.
The Labour Party under Jeremy Corbyn should NOT have forced
Sarah Champion into silence because it sends out the wrong message; the fact is
that ‘playing the race card’ is a part of modern British politics used to shut
down dissent.
It is ridiculous that
the Labour Party has lost such a valuable Equalities shadow minister because of
the cowardice of Jeremy Corbyn. When I was in the Labour Party, I stayed on as
a member to vote for him but as I wrote repeatedly, the two areas that he is
bad at are foreign affairs and defence.
This episode shows clearly that Jeremy Corbyn will never be
Prime Minister of Great Britain, in the key test of showing leadership, this
goes beyond an epic fail.
Amina Lone, the co-director of the Social Action and
Research Foundation told the BBC's Newsnight programme:
"She has been punished and used as a scapegoat because
as a politician she's an easy target", adding that Labour should not have
forced her into silence”.
Ms Lone later tweeted:
"Sarah Champion was talking about a particular type of
grooming which is carried by men because of their cultural/religious practices”.
To add fuel to the disaster, the Conservative Government
minister Sajid Javid also criticised the decision to force Ms Champion out.
He tweeted:
"Corbyn wrong to sack Sarah Champion. We need an honest
open debate on child sexual exploitation, including racial motivation".
Other MPs have also spoken up in defence of Ms Champion,
including Labour's Barry Sheerman:
"I don't understand the forced resignation of Sarah
Champion and nor will my constituents".
Conservative MP Tim Loughton wrote:
"Those of us with experience in this area know Sarah
Champion is highly respected for exposing child sexual abuse and should
be listened to. Obviously not all men. She is not a racist but a brave
woman speaking out about a politically awkward issue. UK Labour bury your heads
as much as you like in the black and white purist world you push. The
chickens will come home to roost".
Margot James MP wrote:
"It is an outrage that @SarahChampionMP has had to quit
the front bench; she must continue excellent work standing up for vulnerable
girls"
To be forced out by telling the truth in the Labour Party
sets a bad precedent, because this apart from looking rather shabby, it also
shows that the party values Muslim votes and donations ahead of protecting
vulnerable children.
Would a decent Muslim withhold a donation to the Labour
Party because of Sarah Champion speaking out?
I doubt it.
In an article in The Sun, Ms. Champion warned politicians
should not be afraid to discuss the high number of sexual exploitation and
grooming cases against Pakistani men in the UK .
She had written that an "over-sensitivity about
language" had resulted in a climate of fear which had led to the
"neglect, for so long, of the victims of these terrible crimes".
Corbyn, posted on Facebook:
"In recent days, The Sun has published statements that
incite Islamophobia and stigmatise entire communities. That is wrong, dangerous
and must be condemned".
Yasmin Qureshi, Labour's shadow justice minister has also
refused to accept the Pakistani community has a particular issue with child
grooming of white under age children despite high-profile cases which appear in
our press and media constantly.
Trevor Philips, the former chair of the Equality and Human
Rights Commission, told The Telegraph:
"I am absolutely gobsmacked, this is not the
Labour party I know, even in the darkest days I don't remember people being
asked to stand down for trying to represent their constituents, which is what I
think Sarah Champion was trying to do. We shouldn't have to have an argument
about free speech, what this feels like is what we used to call democratic
centralism in the Labour party, in other words Stalinism".
Trevor Phillips in the past has written about the failure of
multiculturalism in the UK ,
which in part is down to refusing to deal with problems like this which have
destroyed social cohesion.
Sarah Champion bravely wrote:
"Britain
has a problem with British Pakistani men raping and exploiting white girls”.
She added:
"There. I said it. Does that make me a racist? Or am I
just prepared to call out this horrifying problem for what it is? For too long we
have ignored the race of these abusers and, worse, tried to cover it up. No
more. These people are predators and the common denominator is their ethnic
heritage. We have to have grown-up conversations, however unpalatable, or in
six months’ time we will be having this same scenario all over again."
After telling the truth, she was effectively forced to say:
"I apologise for the offence caused by the extremely
poor choice of words in The Sun article on Friday. I am concerned that my
continued position in the Shadow cabinet would distract from the crucial issues
around child protection which I have campaigned on my entire political career. It
is therefore with regret that I tender my resignation as Shadow Secretary of
State for Women and Equalities."
Jeremy Corbyn is Leader of the Labour Party, I voted for him
although I knew that he would never be Prime Minister of Great Britain, he is a
weak man.
I wonder if he realises how much goodwill and votes he has
lost through this failure of his leadership.
Recently, I was asked to get involved in the Glasgow by-election at Cardonald
for the Pollok CLP, I decided not to offer my services. The Labour Party is in
no fit state to govern which is why they lost the election, it is true they
benefit from a protest vote in 2017 but there is an underlying problem of
credibility and now integrity to deal with.
Yours sincerely

Disgraceful. As a sexual abuse survivor myself - there, I said it, cat is out of the bag - I am appalled. Child abuse leaves devastating scars on children well into adulthood, there are no words for how horrible it is to experience.
There is no excuse for covering up child sexual abuse, not even fear of "racism" accusations. The idea that to appear virtuous is more important than the well-being of children. It doesn't matter at the end of the day, who is doing it, nobody should be scapegoated for it, not the Pakistani community (although their playing of the race card is unacceptable too), not "males", no one, what does matter is that if it exists within an area or group, it should be dealt with ASAP and NEVER covered up. Sarah Champion, whether she did it in the "correct" way or not, did the right thing, and my little respect for Jeremy Corbyn that he'd clawed back after the election has gone again.
Like I said, disgraceful.
Hello George
You never fail to go directly to the heart of matters. I admire your decision not to campaign at Cardonald. I find it particularly annoying that those who forced Ms Champion's resignation contrive to remain unidentified. They drop stink and slide back under their rock hugging themselves with glee at what they have achieved.
I sense that there may be the beginnings of a movement away from denial of muslim culpability in rape gangs. If it's there, it's still weak but it's a start. I also sense that the police are beginning to cast aside political correctness in these matters and going to considerable lengths to achieve convictions.
Green shoots?

Hi Auld Jock
I like to think I write what the average person would want to say publicly, and hopefully I do this in this blog.
Too often people are afraid to speak up, I am not.
George
Hi Al C
Corbyn needs a reality check.
George
When they call people who object to statues being destroyed Nazis is it any wonder ‘people are afraid to speak up’
Dear fellow Anonymous,
Re the statues - I think you'll find the fact the statue-defenders were marching with flags with swastikas on them was a bit of a giveaway.
If you stop seeing bigotry for what it is, then we all lose the right to speak the truth - such as in this child sexual abuse situation, where people do seem to be being stopped from telling it like it is - as people will just assume you're an arsehole.
Dear fellow Anonymous leftard,
The idiots marching with swastikas and the KKK I’m certainly not supporting them. I am however supporting people who do object to these statues being removed. To label every one who objects to statues being removed Nazis is really a sign of the times.
You're not wrong, George. I'd be delighted to give him it myself.
The statues are an American issue concerning free speech and freedom of thought. 65% of Americans believe the statues should not be removed. Are they all Nazis?
Back home in Bonny Scotland our First Minster, the leader of a party she apparently hates. As if we didn't already know’ she was a Communist "internalist" Globalist Marxist, she suddenly awakes and finds the name of her party offensive. You couldn’t make it up.
Sad today, we have so-called educated people so mentally deranged they find statues and the term ‘National’ in the Scottish National Party offensive, go on then, remove it and remove all the statues and while you’re at it, demand that everything with National in the name gets removed. Like …..National trust, that’s a real Nazi name that and the ….National Health Service we can’t possibly have that, the name National is offensive and we don’t want patients to think they are being treated by Nazis.
