Dear All
Milo Yiannopoulos is an outspoken advocate of free speech; I
came across him when he was the former Breibart News editor which is one of the
news agencies that I read to get an alternative slant on the news.
Have a read of their website and spend sometime going
through their articles, you might find something of interest in the various
sections. In ye olde days, you could rely on the mainstream media, now days,
you have to research, things aren’t always so black and white.
Milo Yiannopoulos is an articulate spokesman and generally
associated with what is termed the ‘Alt-Right’, if he was on what is termed the
‘left’, he would no doubt be feted as a hero. Milo ’s
views don’t co-inside with the dogma of the Regressive Left, so it was only a
matter of time before he was going to be attacked. Generally the Left loves to
pin a label on someone, the classic ‘tags’ used by the Regressive Left are
racist, paedophile, homophobic, misogynist or in the case of Milo, he was
designated as given an endorsement of paedophilia, here is his wikipedia
entry to get a feel of what Milo is all about.
The scandal which brought him down was the accusation that
he supports paedophilia, having listened
to a number of his video he clearly states he does, but in a couple of
podcasts, he clearly wasn’t paying enough attention to what he was saying, or
how it sounded. He describes his way of dealing with him being a victim of
child abuse by using British sarcasm, provocation and gallows humour. He
is and can be quite cutting in his speech, and there are plenty examples on
youtube to trawl through.
Here is Milo speaking on
The Rubin Report:
Having taken a beating in the press, and determined not to
be put down, Milo Yiannopoulos has been nominated for Glasgow University
rector, and he has accepted the nomination. The University of Glasgow
has had some great Rectors in the past; the ‘best’ in my opinion was former BBC
presenter Johnny Ball. Johnny Ball was a great Rector who threw his heart and
soul into the position. Other Rectors worth a mention are Charles Kennedy, the
former Lib Dem leader and MP, Richard Wilson, Reginald Bosanquet and Greg
Hemphill.
Milo Yiannopoulos is one of 12 names put forward by students
to take part in an election, others standing include Sir Vince Cable, Lady
Cosgrove and lawyer Aamer Anwar. Cable would probably make a safe pair of
hands, Lady Gosgrove has decent history and then there is Aamer Anwar.
Aamer Anwar is someone who I remember from my time at Glasgow University , a complete tool, I don’t
know anyone from my time either staff or student who liked this clown. When
Anwar had his two front teeth knocked out by Strathclyde Police, many people on
campus cheered, he was universally despised by dental students when a campaign
against racism at the city's Dental Hospital when students became angry
that a much loved dental tutor was allegedly in the firing line for the sack as
a result of Anwar’s campaign. The University as if by magic decided to
then bring in anonymous marking across all faculties but the bitterness wasn’t
forgotten.
Totally unsuitable to be Rector of the University of Glasgow ,
I speak from first hand experience of knowing this git from University.
The role of the rector, which is elected every three years,
is to represent the interests of the students, and work with the Students
Representative Council. Already supporter and students for Milo are starting to
‘feel the heat; as they alleged that they have been subject to threats in their
"Milo for Rector" bid, they don’t
want to reveal their identities.
A spokesman said:
"We have unfortunately had to remain anonymous in our
campaign thus far due to the violent threats that have been made against us and
our supporters. We have had no choice but to take these seriously in order to
ensure the safety of those associated with the campaign. However, this does not
hinder our efforts in campaigning for Milo and
we will continue to do so to the best of our ability."
The University
of Glasgow employs rent a
mob security, basically glorified jannies usually headed up by an ex policeman
sitting waiting on a second pension until they retire. They have an office at
the main gate, more like a little hut with a couple of rooms. Any complaints of
harassment can be phoned into them and they can come down and act or if they
think they can’t deal with it phone the police.
Already the forces of darkness are lining up against Milo as Glasgow University Feminist Society call for the removal
of Milo Yiannopoulos as a candidate, MiloYiannopoulos is an incendiary
figure who has stoked controversy by railing against feminism, obese people and
immigrants. Check this out, Milo on the Rubin
Report.
One thing which Milo Yiannopoulos would bring to the post of
Rector would be truth, something which his opponents seem to be trying hard to
suppress. Having a read of the Glasgow University Feminist Society who appears
to be hardly a beacon of the enlightenment, they are upset it seems.
I want to draw your attention to this post on their Facebook
page:
“Glasgow
University Feminist Society the hungarian referendum on not taking in
refugees last year was voided bc it was successfully boycotted, hopefully this
will get the fascist & transphobic candidates off the list so a fair &
legit election can go through”.
How is an election “fair and legit” when you attempt to get
people removed from the ballot?
I have been away from Glasgow University for 12 years, if
the students want Milo Yiannopoulos, they should vote for him, I don’t think he
is as the Glasgow University Feminist Society paint him as a “racist, misogynistic
and xenophobic and holds a plethora of bigoted views”.
Finally, here is his youtube resignation speech to reporters
above to watch as well, I think if you are a Glasgow University
student with a vote you should watch it; then judge for yourself if he is
capable of being the Rector of Glasgow University.
Yours sincerely

'I know you like the guy George but that's a bit much!'
Let's put it into context and separate like from him as a person and like about what he says. I don't know him, never met him, probably am never going to meet him, but what he says on free speech I do like.
I find him interesting because what he says in certain areas is valuable to society whether you like it or not.
Finally is it too much to say that students should judge him and then decide if he is Rector material?
If so, could you quantify exactly why you raise this point, and go deep into the nuts and bolts of your argument.
George
The guy seems to have flip-flopped, but whether or not I'm talking bollocks, it takes anyone who can find their arse with both hands to point out that the regressive left and their nonsensical bleating about "racism" and "hate" are an international embarrassment.
ReplyDeleteAnd it is fun watching them squirm when he gets on their wick! Hell, even many of Trump's opponents were enjoying watching them squeal last November.
