Angry wee Nat Nicola Sturgeon exposed, Sturgeon brings forward council tax proposals to make the current system better off for the rich at the expense of the poor, the Scottish Parliament research department confirms Sturgeon’s idea of fairness is actually regressive, confirmed by experts

Dear All

Nicola Sturgeon doesn’t give a damn about the poorest people in Scotland, something I keep saying, something I keep writing, and will continue to do so.

There will come a time when the penny will drop and see the SNP for what they really are, a cult which does ‘copy and paste’ of other people’s idea. The Nationalists have no depth; no understanding of government or governance and ‘Statehood’ remains something which doesn’t compute at any level.

As part of her infamous ‘angry wee Nat’ routine, Sturgeon has screamed for years about how the Council tax is unfair, and that tinkering with it is nonsense, in fact the Council tax needs to be replaced.

So, what could replace Council tax?

Some people favour a local income tax scheme, while some other are looking and doing research in a Land Valuation Tax as a better way to pay for Scotland’s services.

What did Nicola Sturgeon do?

Did she do something ‘radical’?

Nope, she stuck with the same discredit system but added in a bit of tinkering, this in my opinion was done to not unsettle the majority of voters; it was done for political gain, not to help Scotland.

In the SNP cult, Scotland is always the second place to consider.

As I say, Sturgeon isn’t interested in the poor, and we can see this more clearly as schools in Scotland's wealthiest areas set to dramatically gain, getting the biggest funding boost from a reformed council tax.

And to show what the calibre of Nicola Sturgeon is, the poor will get hit harder than the rich; this is the findings of impartial research. The Scottish Parliament’s research , department, Spice.

The more money from the most expensive households will further enable rich kids to pull ahead of their poorer counterparts, the social mobility ladder has been pulled further up to trap the poor.

Yet, again, instead of being progressive, the Sturgeon led SNP are showing that they are the ‘regressive’ party in Scottish politics.

Local Authorities in the affluent areas would see proportionally more of the increased revenue because of a cluster effect caused by a higher concentration of expensive properties.
In East Renfrewshire, they have 55 per cent of homes in the top four new bands, council tax income there will rise it is thought by almost 10 per cent, other good areas such as Edinburgh, Stirling and East Dunbartonshire will be slightly less, a 7 per cent rise.

In the areas of the worst poverty, have no fear, Nicola is coming for more of your cash, your bills will be going up as well, 4 per cent rise.

Just think, more money for SNP Candidates and their little ventures to gain access to, to spend on hiring Castles and eating taxpayer funded expensive food under the guise of diversity.

The Spice report said:

“Some local authorities will receive a lot more additional income, either as a percentage or in absolute terms than others....It is not clear how the Government will ring-fence £100m of income from Council Tax for a specific purpose."

To let you know how underhand the SNP Government is, they are refusing to say if it would seek to redistribute cash fairly.

They won’t even explain how this could be achieved, but only saying that further details would be revealed in “due course” following discussions with councils.

In case you don’t know what that means or what has to happen for that to be achieved, this will be after the election as they work out were their support is for winning councils in 2017.

Glasgow’s City Treasurer, Labour councillor Philip Braat, said the report confirmed that a failure to significantly reform or replace the council tax would do far more to help Scotland’s healthiest and wealthiest communities than those in the most need.

Cllr Braat said:

“A plan to fund local services that reinforces, rather than breaks down, the disadvantages experienced by people in our poorest neighbourhoods is a failure. And a plan to support education that means more help for a child brought up in a community where their friends are privately educated, than a child born into poverty is socialism in reverse”.

He added:

“Ministers need to deliver on the Commission on Local Tax Reform and start devolving powers to communities that will let them respond to their own unique challenges.”

Given the SNP is a cult, given there is a lack of talent in their ranks, given they are a centrist authoritarian party, they won’t be empowering any communities especially those in the deprived areas.

The SNP want an underclass to vote for them, a readymade market of people who have been failed by the system to tap into and continue their grievance agenda blaming Westminster.

But the fault doesn’t lie in Westminster, the fault lies in Holyrood, it is Nicola Sturgeon who is holding back Scotland’s youth in deprived areas, it is the SNP who want ghettos, it is the SNP who want a crippled Scotland, they want independence and they don’t care who makes the people suffer, only that they do suffer.

Yours sincerely

  1. Shocking 2 faced, corrupt shower George. I was reading today that Sturgeon is organising an event with teenager school kids called, "ask the First Minister Questions". IT IS A TOTALLY BIASED EVENT. No other party leaders will be present. It should NOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN unless ALL THE PARTY LEADERS IN SCOTLAND ARE PRESENT. This SNP are trying to BRAINWASH SCOTLAND'S KIDS. Write to the Scottish Parliament and complain about this UN-ACCEPTABLE ABUSE OF POWER BY STURGEON. If any other party tried this, Sturgeon and the rest of the CULT would go beserk. Time to eject this corrupt SNzP dictatorship rubbish.

  3. Hi Sherbie

Heard about this, some people commenting online that this type of event harks back to the days of 1930's Germany and how the Nazis' conduct their youth rallies.

  6. George, can a person make a complaint to the Electoral Commission over Sturgeon's attempt to "brainwash", 16 and 17 year olds. Surely, even though she is First Minister, she is also leader of the SNP, which makes it "biased" against the other Party leaders in Scotland. This, in my opinion is democratically wrong, and as I said earlier, biased.

  7. Hi Sherbie

Anyone can make a complaint if they so wish, doesn't mean it will go anywhere, I think technically the SNP are within the limit before the purdah period.
