Scottish independence: Unpopular Nicola Sturgeon undermines Alex Salmond before referendum vote by having Scottish Government work on Plan B for devo max, Team Sturgeon and Team Swinney join forces for the post Salmond era, clear evidence now SNP campaign is imploding at senior level, defeat is coming!

It seems the Scottish National Party actually has a Plan B.

Not on Currency, not on the EU, not on NATO but in the forthcoming defeat of Alex Salmond at the ballot box.

Alex Salmond has marched the SNP and their cohorts up to the top of the hill, and shortly he will be marching them down again.

Failure!

Yes, failure to achieve the objectives of the operation.

We have entered the ‘transition’ towards the post Salmond era, Scottish Government officials have started drawing up a contingency plan to ‘cope’.

For the last three years the SNP administration has been a ‘dead duck’ government.

This term of the Scottish Parliament is the worst in the entire history of Holyrood. It is an embarrassment for any country striving to be a democracy. It shows all too graphically that the SNP MSP ranks are filled with what I recently had conveyed to me as the ‘hollow men’.

Now unpopular Nicola Sturgeon and John Swinney are working behind the scenes to lead the call for further devolution, this is to stop the infighting within the SNP.

Not only have Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon tried to con the Scottish people, they have also deceived their own members that they are a party which fights for fairness, equality and social justice.

The Scottish National Party is a nasty vicious clique run for the personal advancement of a select few, a party within a party. Nationalism, Salmond version is morally bankrupt at a personal and professional level.

As much as Sturgeon and Swinney plot and plan, they won’t be able to deliver devo anything, once the referendum is over, all parties will be fixated on the Westminster 2015 election.

Westminster 2015 is all about what happens to Ukip, what happens to the ‘feeble six’; the SNP MPs is meaningless politically.

Devo max, devo plus or indeed any other kind of devo will have to take a back seat till that result is decided. The SNP wouldn’t be getting anyone in Westminster to dance a ‘Scottish jig’ for them.

Scottish Government officials are drawing up a contingency plan because the SNP want to hold onto power at the 2016 Holyrood election. You can expect a mixture of grudge, grievance and malcontent to flow like water from a tap. John Swinney will seek to rebuild his reputation which has been trashed by Alex Salmond. It is said that John Swinney, the Scottish Finance Minister is the prime mover to move on very, very quickly after the No vote.

The SNP currently hold a majority, I expect them to lose that if the Labour Party up their game. It is said that unpopular Nicola Sturgeon has been touted as the successor to Alex Salmond. Sturgeon is a prime architect in the failure of the Nationalist bid. Nicola Sturgeon also isn’t a unity candidate!

Civic Nationalism has been shown up as an utter sham, Civic Nationalism is now dead.

Although SNP ministers are keen to be at the forefront of demands for more powers for the Scottish Parliament, they will be given lip service by the three main Unionist parties on the constitutional agenda.

Sturgeon and Swinney realise that the Salmond referendum is doomed, they by their actions now have critically undermined Salmond’s position and his claims that the only way in which extra powers will come to Holyrood would be to vote Yes on September 18. 19^Th September sees not just applications for a new leader of the SNP but also a new centre right political party to be introduced in Scotland by someone who actually has a new vision.

The SNP cannot deliver independence for the Scottish people, they are greedy, stupid, small minded little people who have to be ‘managed’ because the SNP leadership brought them up to be politically ignorant.

There has been some talk of federalism coming to Scotland; this in my opinion is unworkable and meaningless. It has been floated by many people and should be allowed to just float away. The SNP Ministers want the so-called ‘devo max’ option, whereby all responsibilities would be passed to Scotland except for defence and foreign affairs.

No, No, No!

What is needed is an enhanced Scottish Office.

This is the new way forward for Scotland; the Scottish Office needs an entire new remit in which many of the devo max options should be placed. This idea of new devolution would be extended to all of the United Kingdom to take account of variations in the job market in each country. An example would be the DWP becoming autonomous while at the same time being allowed to develop flexibility in Scotland by having joint input between MPs and MSPs. To work properly, this would have to be cross party and not restricted to just the parties in power.
