Scottish independence: SNP MEP Alyn Smith tries to garner French support by a speech to a leading French think tank, sources say the French are hostile to the Yes Camp, one thing is certain Alyn Smith won’t be bringing home the bacon to Salmond and Sturgeon!

Dear All

Having lost the support of the Scottish people, the Scottish National Party is desperately trying to get someone, anyone to support them now in a bid to look credible.

In that respect, the SNP is making a pitch to try and get the French onside.

Will it work?

Non!

Leading the attempt is the SNP MEP Alyn Smith who recently wanted to bail out of Europe to Holyrood.

His attempt at that was rather unsuccessful.

In a key speech to France's highly influential Institut Francais des Relations Internationales Smith will contrast his party's pro-EU credentials with those an increasingly Eurosceptic London.

Yet again, the SNP make the mistake of trying to turn their failed independence campaign into a Scotland against England proposition.

Smith will say:

"Being European, and being internationalist, is part of our DNA. We are a proudly European country and part of a member state that is increasingly odd, unco-operative and, at times, obstructive.Whenever you hear Prime Minister Cameron, do please remember he may represent the UK but he does not speak for us all."

Who exactly is he referring to when he says ‘our DNA’, anyone notice any European café style culture in Possil, Pollok, Drumchapel, Castlemilk, Easterhouse or Coatbridge?

Although the think-tank is ranked very highly within France and is seen as a go to place for French foreign policy, it will not help the SNP.

France is a partner of the UK, tied to the hip much more than it will ever be to anny clumsy attempt by Alex Salmond..

Although France has made no public pronouncements on independence, don’t think for a minute they don’t have a view.

To highlight that, sources close to the French government have made no secret of the fact that they are hostile to the Yes camp.

Hostile to Scotland’s ‘jolly fat man’ Alex Salmond and hostile to unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon!
The Scottish National Party is effectively a shell company, it is a front that the Alex Salmond Party operates out of, it is a party within a party, it is morally corrupt existing to service and benefit the few at the expense of the many.

Part of the reason for the French hostility is security concerns and the future of the UK nuclear deterrent.

The SNP cannot be trusted no matter how many episodes of Borgen, Nicola Sturgeon watches to get ideas, and Salmond and Sturgeon botched the NATO U turn by continuing their anti nuclear stance.

This was done to keep the SNP CND mugs working for them, the SNP is a collection of malcontents, all with their own wee agendas held together by puppet master Salmond.

Well the show is over!

Vive la France!

Yours sincerely
