Dear All
It seems that SNP MSP John Mason has
decided to bring in religion into the independence debate or to be more
specific God.
It could be said that God is already
speaking as the SNP is in meltdown and the Scottish independence campaign has
collapsed.
However to refresh Mr. Mason's memory;
'the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away'.
He gave the SNP success and they squandered
it doing evil.
We are now at the 'Lord taketh away' part.
Mason suggested the Old Testament story of
the Tower of Babel could be used as an argument for
Scottish independence.
That is bollocks.
Can you compared Scotland’s
constitutional battle to a biblical episode?
Yes, Freedom of Speech gives you that
right, just like Freedom of Speech allowed some people to compare Alex Salmond
to Hilter.
Writing in a evangelical magazine, Mason
trotted out a story from the Book of Genesis , which saw God stop the people of
Earth, who then spoke a common language, from building a tower to heaven.
God then created different languages to confuse the builders and “scattered”
them all over the world.
And that is his argument for independence?
He also wrote:
“I would maintain there is no one Christian
line to take on Scottish independence. However, there is a principle from the
time of the Tower of Babel that God split the peoples up as
too much centralisation was a potentially a dangerous thing. So it could be
argued that we should be wary of larger national units and supportive of
smaller ones.”
Presumably he is aware then being in
politics that his leader and unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon
plan to take Scotland into the European Union, this is a larger Union
than the United Kingdom.
That means his argument falls on its arse.
Unfortunately, he can't go back and do a
re-write.
The Shettleston MSP said he did not believe
God was taking sides in the independence debate.
I think that is wishful thinking on his
part, given the evil in the Scottish National Party at the very top of the
organisation, I think God certainly isn't on the side of Alex Salmond and
Nicola Sturgeon.
If asked, would Scotland's 'jolly fat
man' Alex Salmond and Scotland's unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola
Sturgeon give an assurance that they are going to Heaven when they die?
Or like the EU debacle, would they say that
'talks' would have to place on membership and conditions of entry?
Presumably Salmond and Sturgeon would
'dictate' their terms of entry!
Instead of the Book of Genesis, the working
class SNP members should be reading 'Exodus' because sticking around in the
Scottish National Party is a seriously bad idea at present.
Some people might be going to Hell because
"it's the right thing to do"!
Yours sincerely

God clearly created the United Kingdom and only he can destroy it if he wishes. This John Mason clearly doesn't understand Christianity. The SNP are seeking to destroy what God put together so they are in effect going against God. Trying to justify that by misquoting the scriptures just shows how evil they are.
