Dear All
Yesterday, I got
another article published on Think Scotland; it was a riposte to an article
done by Amy Lockett, just a bit of fun to pass the time.
Now, let’s get back to
politics, Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has lost
the Shettleston by-election.
The SNP yet again
threw everything including the kitchen sink to attempt to shore up Nicola
Sturgeon’s crumbling leadership of Glasgow SNP which is in meltdown.
Much like her failed
and ultimately doom independence campaign.
You see unpopular
Nicola isn't bright enough.
If she is to learn
anything from this latest epic defeat, it is that by surrounding herself with
cretins to secure her position, it weakens the entire Nationalist movement. The
latest ‘wheeze’ of sticking up young female candidates has rather fallen flat
on its face; the best candidate is always the best candidate. Sadly, it appears
that Nationalists are still sensitive about Nicola Sturgeon’s pal and comrade
who is doing 12 months in prison for smashing in the faces of women.
Nicola still hasn’t
visited ex SNP MSP Bill Walker in prison, what price friendship Nicola?
As to the winner, that
was the Labour Candidate Martin Neill, he had a slick well oiled campaign on
the ground.
The reason for the
by-election was the sad death of George Ryan who was only 51 when he passed
away, too young for anyone.
The result is another
indication that independence is off.
Martin Neill secured
enough votes to win in the first round that number was 2026 votes.
The second place was
Laura Doherty who only managed 1086 despite having a massive SNP presence on the
ground.
Third place went to
Raymond McCrae, he pulled in a reasonable 226 votes, however, in an area where
there are many affluent people I would have expected more, his vote was on a
par with the Govan result of Richard Sullivan.
Obviously the
Conservatives need to go back to the drawing board again, they seemed to have
put in a decent effort on the ground, but still they cannot seem to make any
real headway.
So that is the one two
three of it.

I haven’t commented on the Shettleston
by-election as readers know because a bigot was standing called Tommy Ball.
It is with great delight that I can say he
achieved 35 votes!
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
HA HA HA HA HA HA!
35 votes!
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
HA HA HA HA HA HA!
When I stood for election, I had a full
blown Nationalist hate campaign against me, no money, no resources and no real help,
my two mates did canvassing for me, my campaign ran for 18 days, 10
days leafleting, 7 days canvassing and polling day. I wasn’t asked to attend
any hustings.
Tommy Ball on the other had ‘campaign
breakfast’ meetings, moral support of an entire political party, campaign teams
on the ground and was invited to hustings.
And despite all of that he managed to
achieve 35 votes!
The SSP have to learn the lesson of never again picking a lying Nationalist bigot!
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
So another desperate and humiliating defeat
for unpopular Nicola Sturgeon in her own backyard of the East end of Glasgow,
and one of her former attack dogs Tommy Ball well and truly humiliated into the
bargain!
I got 103 votes all by myself and Tommy
Ball got 35 votes with an entire political party in his corner.
It is looking more and more like Xmas all
the time.
Yours sincerely

UKIP got more than the SSP and your right about them. Grasping on the Independence tail. But I expect they'll make foolish demands just before the referendum vote and that will be the coup de grace for them.
ReplyDeleteThe SNP have forgotten their roots. Fractions within are now making their own demands and getting bolder. All before any real solid power. I predict massive splits after they're core policy is thrown out with a massive majority.
Hope Alex gets a calculator for Christmas .
Dear Anon
ReplyDeleteIf Alex gets a calculator hopefully it will be one with solar power function to work on his Green Credentials.
The SSP sadly had a very poor candidate, a lying Nationalst bigot who was just delivered leaflets while at Pollok SNP.
Not a thinker.
Apparently an SNP Councillor said that it was a pity me and Tommy Ball didn't go head to head.
Where's the challenge for me?
Tommy Ball had a whole political party helping him.
35 votes!
SNP still trying to get out of the shadow of Niciola Sturgeon's pal Bill Walker smashing in women's face by selecting women.
They have lost the wummin's vote.
Scotland's unpopular DFM Nicola Sturgeon lost badly here, the SNP meltdown continues.
Yours sincerely
