Dear All
Do you remember UB40, the pop band; they
had a hit single called ‘One in Ten’?
Well Scotland’s ‘jolly fat man’ Alex
Salmond has One in Four.
25% of Scots favour Scottish independence.
He can’t convince the other 75%.
Maybe 'One in Ten' is possible if Better Together really push hard, who knows!
Maybe 'One in Ten' is possible if Better Together really push hard, who knows!
In a desperate attempt to try and get headway, Salmond is desperate to get David Cameron into a TV studio to ‘blame England’
for Scotland’s ills.
So far, David Cameron has ignored his
request, you don’t do battle with a loser, and Salmond is an independence loser,
sliding down the slippery slope to political oblivion.
In trying to talk himself up as a Statesman,
Salmond has delivered his most bullish demand yet for a head-to-head
independence debate.
Have another pie Alex and sit your ass
down.
Someone get a pint for the First Minister.
And a big pillow, fluffy of course, in case
he starts crying in public.
Defeat is coming.
Alex Salmond and David have been named joint
winners of a prestigious political award.
No doubt prompted by this win, Salmond
feels that this is a platform to call for a debate; Salmond would call for a
showdown at the opening of an envelope.
Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon are so desperate
to do battle with the UK's Prime Minister David Cameron and his Ministers.
It’s the cynical standing up for Scotland
con!
In Salmond and Sturgeon’s case it is
standing up for the rich.
We are nearly hiting the fable one year to
the political death of Alex Salmond, he has shot his load too early, instead of
waiting to take a proper shot, Salmond like a wean with a machine gun has been
spraying all over the place.
And the 25% shows he shot only himself and
the SNP in the foot.
What about Yes Scotland; the failed independence
campaign group seen as an SNP front?
Dicks!
No more need be said, run by the SNP,
staffed by the SNP for the benefit of the SNP!
Dicks!
Alex Salmond isn’t getting David Cameron;
he is being paired off against Alastair Darling, the leader of the pro-Union
Better Together campaign.
Darling has gravitas whereas Salmond has a
stupid look on his face and is shallow populist, no contest, Darling is to fact
what Salmond is to fantasy.
And independence isn’t No fairytale.
No work, no vision, no plan and no support,
pretty much sums up Salmond and Sturgeon.
Salmond said:
"It would seem to me to make it
incumbent on the other joint recipient of this incredible award to debate with
me as part of the process. We can hardly accept a joint award for political
engagement if we are not prepared to follow it through and conduct a debate in
democratic terms as the two signatories of this agreement. According to the
serious academics this is the best thing since sliced bread."
Rather than having sliced bread Mr. Salmond
have another pie!
Better Together has outwitted the SNP and left
the major debates to Alastair Darling.
Politically it is the smart move, a fight
for Scotland they believe is best led by Scots, Drling has managed to get almost
an entire country in his corner.
Trust is a major issue for Salmond and
Sturgeon.
Salmond is literally dying in the polls,
and has been determined to pursue his argument against David Cameron in a vain
hope that he can restart his campaign but so far any which way he has turned has
resulted in failure.
No George Laird radical thinking; his drone
class aren’t much cope either; no ideas coming from them!
The SNP is run as a clique and the clique
have sadly found out that they mentally don’t have a pot to piss in.
And some as I have seen can’t manage to miss
their trousers either.
Salmond thinks, if he can get someone who
is hated more than him he is the ‘good guy’, say whit!
Alex Salmond considers himself a political
heavyweight, at Holyrood he probably is that due to his experience at
Westminster.
However, let’s not kid yourself he is
anything special, so what do we know?
1/ He combs his hair forward
2/ He is carrying his reputation around his
waist
3/ He is a guy married to a woman old
enough to be his mother
4/ He has a big mouth because he has a
position of power
5/ His party is run as a one man band and
is full of bams
And he is staying out of the fray because
he wants to lock horns with someone he considers his political equal????????
In trying to make a mountain out of a
molehill, some mouthpiece said:
"We are delighted that the Edinburgh
Agreement has been honoured in this way.
"The fact that such a distinguished
body has chosen to recognise the importance of the accord is hugely
significant. Of course, as the joint signatories to the Edinburgh Agreement,
the First Minister and Prime Minister are the respective leaders of the Yes and
No campaigns. The Prime Minister deserves credit for his role in securing the
Edinburgh Agreement. But this award confirms his central role in the process,
and as such it is becoming harder and harder for him to avoid a head-to-head
debate on the question of Scotland's future."
I can do up an award on my computer, will
this add further weight for a head to head.
And how can a realistic head to head take
place for David Cameron against a man who talks out of his arse?
Imagine, David Cameron forced to debate
with Alex Salmond’s ass cheeks, what kind of debate is that?
Can a debate on fact against fantasy help
Salmond?
Or as we seen recently with Scotland’s
unpopular Deputy First Minster Nicola Sturgeon will we see an undignified shouting
match?
In this case David Cameron should adopt a
statesmanlike position and leave Alex Salmond sitting in the political mud,
sooner or later, his own Nationalists will wise up that Salmond is a liability
and that Sturgeon is a deadbeat.
As the face of independence, Nicola
Sturgeon killed the Scottish independence campaign, 25% will drop further,
working class Scots have seen through the SNP.
The Scottish National Party stands for the
rich, not the poor, the more Salmond and his rabble call on David Cameron, the
more he should blank it.
Not tonight dear, nothing to see here move
along please.
368 days till the political death of Alex
Salmond at the ballot box, 368 of torture for Salmond as the pressure builds
and builds, there is no escaping destiny.
Cornered like a rat!
Yours
sincerely
George Laird
