Scottish independence: The Yes campaign has “virtually no chance” of victory in next year’s referendum, US Election Guru has ‘done the math’, Salmond and Sturgeon killed their own indy campaign by allowing gross incompetence, stupidity and cronyism

Sooner or later, everyone comes round to the George Laird view.

Nate Silver is an award-winning statistician and he says that the Yes campaign has “virtually no chance” of victory in next year’s referendum on Scottish independence.

I have been saying this for some considerable time, there are many reasons but one of the main reasons is that Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon are running a bogus campaign that has no substance to it.

That problem started before the disastrous ‘Declaration of Cineworld’ event where Alex Salmond held court so that rich people could give him their blessing, poor people need not apply.

Rather than assemble an 'A Team' it looked more like 'The GAY Team' in nature.

Guess what no one is laughing now are they Mr. Salmond, you're history, the First SNP First Minister to lose an independence referendum!

The Yes Campaign, its smoke and mirrors, just window dressing with lashings of lies and false promises heaped on top.

The SNP will promise anyone anything and say anything for a vote. That isn’t good enough, much was made by the SNP of ‘elect a people’s champion’; the truth was that it wasn’t people’s champions being rejected by the public in 2010 but Salmond and Sturgeon’s cronies. 

In 2011, the electorate were well conned, the evidence is all around you if you care to look, part of the problem was that Labour wasn’t credible to be returned to power, and with Johann Lamont, they still aren’t which probably explains why Labour MP Anas Sarwar is carrying the load on indy tv programmes.

Where are the voices of dissent regarding this mockery of a Yes campaign within the SNP?

The Yes Scotland campaign started off badly and has lurched from car crash to car crash unable to shift the polls and garner public support.

Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was drafted in to be the ‘face of independence’.

Nicola was going to ‘win’ the women’s vote.

She didn’t, despite the image portrayed by her supporters of what a ‘wonderful human being’ she is, we should remember that as Health Secretary she couldn’t be bothered to do something about Scots women dying of cancer because they couldn’t get the right drugs.

So much for standing up for Scotland!

Nate Silver has a track record; he shot to fame when he correctly predicted the outcome of all 50 states in the 2012 US presidential elections.

So, if you want to get a bet on then you should back Scots voting No in September 2014.

Alex Salmond and Niloca Sturgeon cannot turn the situation around, they don’t have George Laird radical thinking; they are just little schemers with short term vision.

Silver says that only a “major crisis” south of the Border could turn the situation in favour of independence; however that is highly unlikely, the reason is that the UK recovery has started, it is small but looks slightly promising. There are major problems to be sorted but when is there not!

Nate Silver said his polling data was “pretty definitive. There’s virtually no chance that the Yes side will win”.

Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon loaded this campaign with their cronies, cobbled together a load of malcontents, failed in every area, and the entire campaign is a shambles.

Sliver added:

“If you look at the polls, it’s pretty definitive really where the No side is at 60-55 per cent and Yes side is about 40 or so. Historically, in any Yes or No vote in a referendum, it’s actually the No side that tends to grow over time, people tend not to default to changing the status quo. The No side is even more dominant with the younger voters, so there’s not going to be any generational thing going on.”

Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon buried this campaign with their stupidity and petty mindedness, now the data is coming to support what I have been saying continually.

Prior to the Glasgow City Council election in 2012, I made a predication of 1,2,3, firstly the SNP would not win the Glasgow City Council, secondly that the SNP would lose the Scottish independence referendum and thirdly they wouldn’t do well at the Westminster election in 2015.

George Laird is always right.

Stupidity is a poor substitute for intelligence, when I stopped helping the Scottish National Party, soon afterwards, the slide started to happen, these people aren’t smart, however they marvel at their own limited abilities.

Why can’t Alex Salmond get some dynamite wisdom when he continually says he is surrounded by “too many talented people”?

The reality is that he isn’t surrounded by talented people but with sycophants, the SNP is a party within a party run as a one man band, and Salmond’s judgment isn’t that good.

What has been achieved in this parliament of any real significant interest by him?

Scottish National Police Force, Scottish National Fire Service, those were my ideas that I presented to the SNP in September 2010.

Ideas for social media, George Laird did a presentation which a branch member used to get himself a job at SNP HQ.

Streets stalls, another George Laird idea which was mocked and received little support at the SNP GRA, now they are campaigning doing street stalls.

The message is wrong, the work hasn’t been done, parliament and government is paralysed and the SNP front which is Yes Scotland is just plain wrong and crony ridden.

The Yes campaign has “virtually no chance” of victory in next year’s referendum on Scottish independence, and Nate Silver agrees with George Laird.

More bad news for Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon, ‘the writing is on the wall’, the ‘pies are on the table’; and in some cases; some people are on their back, while others are on their arse.

All the stupid little phoney groups run by SNP members have been a complete waste of time such as ‘out4indy’, well, who is setting up ‘out2lunch’?

This Scottish campaign is dead; the political death of Alex Salmond at the ballot box is scheduled for the 18^th September 2014.

Justice is catching up to him.

Nate Silver is just adding his voice to the growing body of opinion that is saying No to Salmond and Sturgeon.
