Senior figure in Yes Scotland quits after just six months, former RBS manager Jacqueline Caldwell jumps ship, two of the top team have deserted, the ‘Curse of Sturgeon’ could affect people’s employment opportunities, is this Scotland’s version of ‘political flight’?

Dear All

Have you heard of the ‘wisdom of crowds’?

The wisdom of the crowd is the process of taking into account the collective opinion of a group of individuals rather than a single expert to answer a question.

However, if you take a half wit and another half wit, you don’t get wisdom!

Many people see Yes Scotland as an SNP front, it is so crony ridden to be utterly pathetic, and they have universally failed to make any impression of the Scottish public.

Poll after poll shows what happens when cronyism replaces ethics.

Yes Scotland has admitted losing a second member of its self-styled "top team."

Former RBS manager Jacqueline Caldwell had quit after just six months, she is supposed to be its linchpin director of operations.

So, Jacqueline Caldwell and now Susan Stewart have decided not to stick around for what Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minster Nicola Sturgeon says is “our big chance”.

And as well as ‘flight’ there are persistent rumours which at present are vehemently denied that there cash problems at the organisation.

Why would anyone in the right mind back a crony ridden organisation to provide pay days to Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon’s cliques?

Caldwell's job description was to lead the day-to-day operations of the Yes campaign and ensure its policies were being implemented and goals achieved.

Looking at the polls, and the imploding nature of the campaign; she done a great job for Better Together by proxy.

We have had 13 months since the less than dramatic ‘Declaration of Cineworld’ which Alex Salmond got together with his cronies at an Edinburgh cinema, along with a motley crew of hangers on, and the Greens and SSP.

The coalition of the willing doesn’t seem to be winning the fight, the message is all wrong.

Caldwell was also in charge of budget controls, board meetings and deputising for the chief executive in his absence, so she had a significant role within the organisation.

What weren’t at all significant were the results that Yes Scotland produced!

You see a 90 minute Nationalist doesn’t have the campaigning experience required or the ‘trigger time’ in the trenches.

Although hired on a two-year contract last September, Ms. Caldwell resigned in March, but Yes Scotland did not publicise the fact, they hide it. She got out at the right time, when the campaign fails on the 18th September 2014 at the ballot box, Caldwell can escape most of the blame.

This is Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon’s campaign and they will ride the rollercoaster right to the end.

At the end there is a rather large brick wall.

Yes Scotland say Caldwell left for personal reasons but have refused to elaborate, however, her post has not been replaced, and her duties have been shared out among other employees.

Surely not more work!!!!!!

Yes Scotland has now lost half of what it called its "top team" of four directors.

When Director of communications Susan Stewart left last week, she said she was going to pursue other opportunities as a "streamlining" operation at the campaign's Glasgow HQ was taking place.

Stewart has not be replaced either, Yes Scotland chief executive Blair Jenkins is taking a greater role in the media operation.

Serious Mistake!

What does he know about political campaigning?

Precious like I would say, his television performances haven’t exactly been inspiring, he is like an old broken down boxer who has taken too many punches and doesn’t know how to fight.

Yes Scotland said a review of its operating structure had led it to concentrate more resources into local campaigns to achieve a Yes vote next year.

This is all you need to know about the lack of vision, tunnel vision is a problem in the SNP; the wider picture always has to be explained to the less gifted Nationalists.

Insiders say the review and shift is code for trying to get by with less money than expected because the Scottish public doesn’t want to back, Team Loser led by Salmond and Sturgeon!

A senior SNP source said:

"There's no money coming through the door, just dribs and drabs."

Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is the ‘face of independence’ which explains why the SNP ‘can’t get a nickel for their mother’. The Scottish Government’s record in this parliament is seriously appalling.

A Better Together source said:

"To lose one director could be put down to bad luck, to lose two could be considered careless”.

Adapted from an Oscar Wilde quote which can also be found in the 1979 James Bond movie, Moonraker!

The scene of the first meeting with James Bond and Hugo Drax in California!

Better Together added:

“The Yes camp is being asked to do the impossible sell something to Scots that they don't want. Little wonder people in Hope Street think the time is right to 'consider other opportunities'."

To show how out of touch the SNP crony ridden Yes Scotland team are, their merchandising operation is selling unusually expensive items for a political campaign, including £330 gold cufflinks.

If a person on benefits wanted a pair of £330 gold cufflinks, they would have to put 5 weeks of their unemployment benefit aside to buy them.

Quite some time ago I said that the SNP campaign was a rich man’s campaign; nothing they have done has led me to believe otherwise.

I wonder if more people will be considering 'other opportunities' at Yes Scotland including Blair Jenkins, his ass should have been fired ages ago, in fact, he should never have been appointed in the first place.

More bad judgment by Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon!

Yours sincerely
