Scottish independence: Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minster Nicola Sturgeon doesn’t believe in her own product, indy campaign takes serious blow as she says Scotland and England are ‘better together’ financially!

It seems that Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is on a journey, not the road to Damascus where at the end enlightenment, but the road to Irvine.

In an independent Scotland, there must be a Scottish currency, in the transition; it would be in the country’s interest to keep the pound for a short period of time.

However, Nicola Sturgeon has come full circle; she now thinks that Scotland and England should have the same currency because they are Better Together.

As we have seen countless times, the independence campaign is a complete shambles under her direction.

This is just another example.

Nicola Sturgeon has got it wrong again.

Her reason is bizarre, she says sterling is "every bit as much Scotland's currency" as the rest of the UK's.

And then she uses the Conservative’s recent strap line of "common sense."

Tartan Tory Nicola wants the UK to bail out Scotland in the event of default, which raises the question about the lack of structure for the independence bid.

Some will see this as more proof, that, the SNP isn’t capable of running an independent Scotland.

Laughingly, she also accused the Westminster administration of refusing to hold talks with Holyrood ministers on the issue.

There is nothing in it for the Westminster Government to start a dialogue now, and it looks highly possible that the UK might not back any of the SNP proposals including lender of last resort status.

Lender of last resort status is the key, if it all goes wrong, it would be Westminster that would sort out the mess and re-capitalise Scottish Banks.

When it comes to Holyrood politics, the SNP has done well, but in the big leagues of Westminster, Ms. Sturgeon is as relevant as a pimple on a rhino’s arse. Anything she mutters will be disinterested picked over and used against her.

Nicola Sturgeon’s doesn’t believe in her product of independence.

Economics experts in the Fiscal Commission Working Group, set up by First Minister Alex Salmond, concluded earlier this year that keeping sterling would be sensible.

Rather than that being a boost for the SNP, it is quite the opposite; it highlights the success that being part of the UK gives Scotland.

Ms Sturgeon said:

"An independent Scotland will keep the pound because it is in everyone's best interests, and to try and suggest otherwise simply flies in the face of the facts. For a start, the pound is every bit as much Scotland's currency as it is that of England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and as such, it is simple common sense that we should continue to use it as an independent country. But that common sense argument is backed up by overwhelming economic arguments. We have already had the detailed expert report of the Fiscal Commission Working Group which has backed a currency union in the event of a Yes vote in next year's referendum."

Reading this, it is clear that Ms Sturgeon is flapping; perhaps she is trying not to ‘frighten the horses’, but the reality is that they have already bolted!

She added:

The "only plausible reason for Westminster's refusal" to have talks on the currency issue is "the fact they know this is the most sensible and straightforward outcome and they are determined not to concede that for purely political reasons".

Ms. Sturgeon is like a wean in a sweet shop screaming for candy, the mother if it gives in gets the advantage of the child shutting up but still takes a monetary loss.

Or the mother could decide just to ignore the child and it will realise that no one is going to give into its demands.

The Deputy First Minister claims:

"The UK Government are in grave danger of cutting off their nose to spite their face on this issue. They know a currency union makes perfect sense, and there is still time for them to properly acknowledge that and have the formal discussions we have proposed. This is an opportunity for the Westminster Government to show it is serious when it says it wants to help, rather than obstruct, an informed debate in the run-up to the referendum. They should now step up to the plate and prove they mean what they say."

Ms. Sturgeon while in her little nasty vile poisonous clique is a big fish, however, when she pops outside the ‘Sturgeon bubble’ and deals with people that she has no control over, she can’t win the argument.

Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon have been told Westminster’s position, to sum it up in a nutshell, it comes down to this, ‘you two can fuck right off, you’re getting nothing’.

Seems that Alex Salmond’s ‘jolly fat man’ and Nicola Sturgeon’s ‘concerned citizen’ routine is waning, they are stuck on a ‘rat ship’ that they have created in the SNP and as far as they are concerned, there is no safe harbour.
