Scottish independence: ‘Massah’ Alex Salmond urged to sack ‘slavery’ row Councillor David Berry, who says Scots are treated like 19th Century black slaves, in the SNP, working class Glaswegians are denied membership rights, human rights and legal rights!

Dear All

First there was Joan McAlpine, the SNP list MSP going around saying people were ‘anti scottish’ and now step forward SNP David Berry.

It seems that David has taken a keen interest in his ‘roots’!

He is a former leader of East Lothian Council and a Holyrood election candidate.

Mr. Berry claims Scots were like England’s slaves who referred to their masters as “Massah”.

As I said there is a genuine lack of talent in the Scottish National Party.

So what has happened to Mr. Berry following his outburst?

SNP party chiefs said there was no need to discipline Mr Berry for his remarks made on social networking site Twitter after he apologised.

Is the start up of a new era of free speech in the party of Salmond and Sturgeon?

Or is it recognition that as support is collapsing they can’t afford to lose the tiny minority they have left to support their ineffective independence campaign?

I don't know, I am just asking the question!

Another piece of wisdom was Mr. Berry also claimed Scotland was like an “abused wife” who needed a divorce.

Echoing the words of Joan McAlpine, dubbed ‘Queen of the Cybernats’, can’t punish Berry and risk the wrath of Salmond if Berry insists Joan McAlpine should be disciplined as well.

Patricia Ferguson, Scottish Labour’s constitutional spokeswoman said:

“To suggest the people of Scotland are slaves is insulting, not least to those who fought in two world wars to ensure we enjoy the freedom we do”.

Pushing her way into personal grief, how immature of Fergusson!

Opposition politicians are now called on SNP leader Mr Salmond, Scotland’s ‘jolly fatman’ to show leadership and axe Berry saying the “despicable” views represented the “ugly face of nationalism”.

Ugly face of nationalism?

I think most know that the ugly face of nationalism is the Salmond and Sturgeon cliques who discriminate against working class people.

Nationalism or ‘Salmondism’ as it should be described is falling apart as all sections of society are walking away from the Salmond and Sturgeon vision.

Last year South of Scotland MSP Joan McAlpine provoked outrage when she compared Scotland’s relationship with the UK to a couple in an abusive relationship but it should be remember Ms. McAlpine is part of the problem of the backward provincial looking SNP.

Prior to that outburst by McAlpine, Nationalist bigot Tommy Ball was forced to quit the party after calling British soldiers in Afghanistan uneducated “child killers and racist thugs”.

Tommy Ball was a former SNP leafleter who is a human turd, a vile piece of filth stinking up the nationalist community, real trash, a man of little talent or worthwhile opinion.

Having been subject to personal abuse by Ball, I feel that he is bitter that I stood up for decent SNP members, and the British Army personnel who do a wonderful job in difficult circumstances.

Jatin Haria, director of race equality charity CRER described the comments as “utterly appalling”.

She added:

“To compare the situation of Scotland and Scots with the plight of people who were chained and kidnapped from their families and homeland then sent on a ship and forced into slavery for the rest of their lives is outrageous.”

Scottish Lib Dem leader Willie Rennie spoke of the “ugly face of nationalism” adding:

“There is no place for crude comparisons to the slave trade in the debate on Scotland’s future in the UK.”

There is a genuine lack of talent in the Scottish National Party, and oh how it shows when these people are allowed to speak, write and interact with others.

In future, it would be better if Mr. Berry is kept 'on the plantation' along with the other SNP rednecks, allowing them into town causes too much trouble.

Yours sincerely

  2. Don't worry about it. Others will.

Good digestable piece, unmasking the seething underbelly of hatred in the SNP.
