Labour MP Anne Moffat's political career dies 20th March 2010, Labour Activists worked hard to get rid of her off her East Lothian Tuffet

Dear All

The result is in and it is historic.

Labour MP Anne Moffat is facing the end of her political career.

Her goose is not just cooked but burnt to a frazzle!

Activists in East Lothian have worked tirelessly to send her down the road after she lost their confidence.

They no longer want her and the result of the vote is damning.

130 to 59!

Last night Constituency party members had a meeting in the school hall at Knox Academy, Haddington.

Activists pulling no punches accused Moffat with accusations of incompetence.

She tried to muddy the water with counter claims of sexism and intimidation.

Now she has one last chance saloon, her fate will now be decided by the Labour hierarchy in London.

And it doesn’t look good.

A Labour Party spokesperson said;

“Members decided that Anne Moffat should not be the candidate at the General Election. She has the right of appeal to the national executive if she wishes”.

Not much hope there methinks.

They added;

“If no appeal is received by Monday then the Labour Party will move quickly to allow local party members to select a new candidate”.

I would say Moffat should start to clear her desk, the end is nigh!

Anne Moffat’s political career died 20th March 2010, there was no survivors.

Will she come out for the new candidate?

I don’t think so.

Yours sincerely

  1. The UK football team supporting, mega expenses, Hitler comparing old trout has finally been gotten rid of.

    Well... I wonder when the labour party will see that foisting their people (usually useless people) on a constituency party is a BAD idea.
