Leader of Plaid Cymru has memo that Blair and Bush stuck secret deal to invade Iraq in 2003

Dear All

The leader of Plaid Cymru's MPs has released into the public domain that he has a memo showing Tony Blair and George Bush struck a secret deal to invade Iraq a year before the 2003 war.

He says the memo is marked "Top Secret and Confidential" and if true, raises concerns about the ‘evidence’ given by Blair before the Iraq Inquiry.

Elfyn Llwyd in a BBC interview says he had written to Iraq Inquiry chair Sir John Chilcot to say he would be prepared to hand the document over.

The evidence of Blair is that there was no secret deal and his decision was a judgement call based on what he saw as a threat.

If the memo is true then the self appointed ‘God’s representative on earth’ should be brought back by Chilcot and asked to explain it.

It was patently obvious to everyone that this country was going to invade Iraq because no matter what, Blair was sticking by the Americans.

Remember the blood price?

Mr Llwyd said;

"I've not shown it to anybody to try, because I, frankly, I didn't want to be in any position where I was accused of undermining anything that was going on at the time."

At the Chilcot Inquiry, Blair put in a polished performance but that was helped considerably by weak examiners.

Justice for the victims of Iraq will never happen unless the truth comes out and those responsible are held to account.

Blair has a lot to answer for.

He should be on trial in The Hague on war crimes charges.

Yours sincerely
