Dear All
Mark MacLachlan has returned to the Scottish blogging sphere.
As an SNP supporting blogger, I say welcome back.
I hope that he is older and wiser and to those who stood by their friend, congratulations, you passed the test of loyalty.
Having read his piece in The Times, I am disappointed in his employer, Mike Russell, SNP Education Minister.
He failed the test of loyalty.
A better employer would have dealt with this without taking a man’s livelihood off him.
Yours sincerely

And as a non SNP supporting blogger I say welcome back!
ReplyDeleteBeing in office corrupts and the fear of losing it corrupts even more.
Dear Mxyzptlk
ReplyDeleteOne would hope that people in public office have strength of character.
Mark MacLachlan deserved sanction, after all he was employed via the public purse but sacking wasn't called for.
How can people be loyal to Mike Russell when they know that if a problem arises he isn't there for them.
I am not impressed by this individual's actions.
Yours sincerely

I am not impressed with the lack of vision and the ability to drop folk at the merest whisper.
ReplyDeleteI thought the SNP where about to bring a sense of directness to goverment, not be corrupt and snide as every other politico is out their.
Dear Juan
ReplyDeleteCharles Gordon, clown, illegal donations scandal.
Falls on his rubber sword as Labour Transport Spokesman.
Now back as Labour Transport spokesman after hiding out and lying low.
The SNP should give Mark MacLachlan back his job and in future do what is right and not what is just expedient.
Mark MacLachlan deserved sanction, should have known better, exercised poor judgement but losing his job, no!
What price loyalty?
Mike Russell doesn't know.
Yours sincerely
