Dear All
It seems that Scotland’s ‘jolly fat man’
Alex Salmond is to take the time to try fix and haul his Russian car crash
regarding Ukraine out of the political ditch.
Salmond is to write to Ukrainian
representatives outlining his objections to Vladimir Putin’s regime.
But let’s get it right first, Salmond has repeatedly
refused to withdraw or apologise for his remarks.
Therefore his ‘objections’ are worthless,
he is arse covering, too late for that the damage has already been done in the
polls.
A recent poll shows that Scottish independence
is more or less finished; the new task is to make the loss of epic proportions.
So,
what is the point of sending a letter to the Association of Ukrainians of Great
Britain and its Scottish branch?
Does a list fix the problem?
Does it show solidarity?
Michael Ostapko, the Scottish chairman of
the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain, later expressed his compatriots
“hurt, disgust, betrayal and astonishment” at the First Minister’s remarks.
You can understand why, Ukrainians have
been killed.
Salmond said:
“The first thing I said was I didn’t
approve of a range of Russian actions, by which I meant not just their attitude
to Ukraine but also their attitude to human rights, particularly towards
homosexuals”.
No doubt this is to repair the damage that
the homosexual community in Scotland felt as Russians aren’t tolerate of that
minority, indeed Russia have banned Pride marches.
Salmond also said external affairs
secretary Fiona Hyslop had met the Russian consul general in January to voice
Scottish Government “opposition to Russian policies on homosexuality”.
In response to Tory leader Ruth Davidson,
he disclosed he would be writing to his Ukrainian critics.
Another stamp wasted!
Salmond said to her:
“I will be writing to the Association of
Ukrainians of Great Britain and the Scottish branch explaining the full range
of the Scottish Government’s action, making it clear that through the meetings
both with the Russian consul general, through the meetings with the Ukrainian
representatives and indeed the public statements that I and others have made –
which have been substantially reported – how we have made our attitude towards
the Russian attitude to Ukraine absolutely clear.”
What a miserable little man Alex Salmond
is, this row is also running at the same time as Salmond’s Scotland is a ‘nation
of drunks’.
I said that the SNP are anti working class,
Salmond’s ‘nation of drinks’ comment just helps prove, George Laird right again.
So, domestically and internationally, Salmond
is seen as a fool, do we want a fool running Scotland?
I think not, Salmond’s day in the sun is
over.
He is a toothless budgie with no relevance
on the world stage.
Invasion of Russia is off the table, as the
SNP are only a part time government.
What a pity, we could have all come down
and waved off the Scottish ‘fleet’ as they rowed out of Aberdeen harbour!
20 minutes later they would ‘row’ back
after the crowd of one and his dug disappeared!
Yours sincerely
George Laird
