Scottish independence: 'late to the party', Scotland’s ‘jolly fat man’ Alex Salmond says he won't pick fight with PM ahead of SNP conference on the bedroom tax, the gutless wonder’s arse has truly collapsed as he now does phoney gesture politics for votes!

Dear All

The SNP Government is in meltdown, so far, they have abandoned government to chase the independence dream.

The reality as we all know, the dream has turned into a nightmare, Alex Salmond and Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon have had their wings clipped, SNP defeats at by-elections show a party going backwards towards imploding.

The latest in a long line of gimmicks is to oppose the bedroom tax which the UK Government imposed on the poorest in society.

Alex Salmond will jump on any cause if he thinks it will attract a vote.

So, at the joint meetings between David Cameron and Salmond, it is being brought up.

At present, the SNP are denying Alex Salmond will try to "pick a fight" with David Cameron before the SNP conference on Thursday in Perth.

You can see how that pans out if any mention appears in speeches by him and Nicola Sturgeon, when these two ‘help’ the poor, there is usually a reason and it’s nothing to do with fairness, equality and social justice.

It’s all about VOTES!

The meetings between administrations will include the Welsh and Northern Irish, with David Cameron, chairing the session.

And as a show of how the new phase of keeping the UK together, also be attended by Alistair Carmichael, the new Scottish Secretary.

The agenda will be the economy, immigration, international sporting events and intergovernmental relations.

One thing that the SNP plan is a dramatic increase in immigration, this would leave many working class Scots without a future, but we should remember that the Scottish National Party treat working class people like pigs, even their own members, that is the contempt they have for Scotland.

Salmond is keen to put the bedroom tax on the political agenda because he knows that the SNP is now seen as a sham, it is a party within a party, it is a party for the rich, run by the rich for the benefit of the rich.

And as we have seen before, Salmond likes to grandstand and posture; doesn’t like to do the work, won’t be proposing a solution, he likes to stir the shit.

A source close to the SNP said:

"The people of Scotland would expect the First Minister to raise issues of concern that affect ordinary people and that's exactly what he will be doing."

As a counter point, another source, a Whitehall insider said it was up to Alex Salmond what he raised but made clear that the point of the JMC was to focus on how different parts of the UK could work well together.

And we should also remember that welfare remains a reserved matter to Westminster.

The Labour Party has been running with the bedroom tax for some time, they realize that this has legs and traction, Salmond and Sturgeon came to the party a good deal late. Labour has said a new report by York University, which suggests the Department for Work and Pensions might have significantly over-estimated the savings of the single room subsidy.

They were also keen to add that this was "another nail in the coffin of David Cameron's crumbling case for the bedroom tax".

Yesterday, I blogged on how the bedroom tax is wrong, it was a major mistake because it didn’t take into account that it penalises people in social housing unfairly, it traps people into further poverty, it restricts social mobility.

As a policy it is 'bad business' at every level.

One thing which Alex Salmond won’t be saying at the SNP Conference on Thursday will be to welcome the new SNP Councillor for Govan, there isn’t one.

Yours sincerely
