Labour Leader of Shame Gordon Matheson plays 'bad Santa', refugee women and children forced out of their homes given 24 hrs notice by UKBA

Dear All

It’s the season of goodwill but not down at the UKBA, the boys down there are celebrating their own version of a Xmas Carol.

Throwing people’s arses out into the street!

Yes, it’s all one big party down at Brand Street, Glasgow.

Namir Rad is a 34 year old single mother of two young children; she stays in a flat in Maryhill, land of the free and home of the brave.

She gets a telephone call on Wednesday 1 December that she is expected to move today Thursday at 11am.

Immigration minister Damien Green promised that no one would be moved out of their homes in less than 14 days notice.

What does it say that a vulnerable single mother of two young children should be treated in such a cruel and heartless way?

It says that Scotland needs independence to control its own immigration policy.

English promises are worthless; don’t people stand by their word anymore?

In another separate case taken up by Positive Action in Housing, a single father has been told to move out of Glasgow City council accommodation within 24 hours to Angel Group accommodation.

Please spread the word and write to those below to complain:

Iain Davidson, Chair, Scottish Affairs Select Committee (they are investigating the UKBA’s actions): davidsonig@parliament.uk

David Mundell MP, Scotland Secretary (he can highlight concerns expressed regarding UKBA actions in Scotland to the Westminster Government): david@davidmundell.com

Tam Baillie, Scottish Children’s Commissioner (Children are at risk because of these inhumane actions): Tam.Baillie@sccyp.org.uk

Damien green, UK Immigration Minister (he promised no one would be moved in less than 14 days): greend@parliament.uk;

Phil Taylor, Head - UKBA Scotland (he told the press no one would be moved in less than 14 days yet it is his department that is moving people): phil.taylor@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

Theresa May, Home Secretary (she can ultimately decide how the UKBA act in this case): mayt@parliament.uk

David Crawford, Head of Social Work, GCC (he’s negotiating on behalf of the council with the UKBA): david.crawford@sw.glasgow.gov.uk

Cllr Gordon Matheson, Leader of the Council, gordon.matheson@councillors.glasgow.gov.uk

Cllr Danny Alderslowe - Danny.Alderslowe@glasgow.gov.uk

The UK borders Agency seems to have learnt nothing from the triple suicide of the Russian family in Glasgow's Red Road flats in March 2010 after receiving similar letters to quit by the UKBA.

600 refugee families are going to be effected because of a dispute over money between the Glasgow Labour Council of shame and the UKBA.

Leader of the Glasgow Labour Council of shame Gordon ‘free dinners’ Matheson has easily slipped in the seasonal Pantomime mood by playing the part of Oliver Twist who screams that he wants more UKBA porridge (cash).

But he really is miscast, Fagin is more his pigeon.

Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!
Christ, the Saviour is born
Christ, the Saviour is born

Silent night, holy night
Son of God, love's pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth "

Except up Maryhill where women and children are dragged from their homes screaming in the middle of the night.

Sleep in heavenly peace?

I don't think so!

Yours sincerely

  1. I hope Matheson has a very happy Christmas, with all his friends and family around him.

Of course if I were him, or indeed if any human being were him, they wouldn't be able to enjoy their turkey with this on their consciences.

  2. Dear Tris

I understand that as leader of the Labour Council of shame, he is on £60k plus expenses.

Also I am sure he will enjoy his Turkey this xmas as he is probably on some guest list for a free munch somewhere.

As a 'Prince' of the City of Glasgow, he only needs to deal with the peasantry when grafting for their votes.

    Yours sincerely
