Tories to introduce 'Goldie' rules to kick out Holyrood leader, she has done a very good job fronting for a 'nest of vipers'

Dear All

Annabel Goldie is currently the leader of the Scottish Tories.

For some considerable time there has been talk she should be replaced as leader.

So, the question is, has she done a good job?

The answer is yes.

She has nothing to work with and no one is Scotland is forgetting Thatcher and the fact that the Tories used Scotland as a testing ground for their policies like the Poll Tax.

Tories are hated by Scottish people.

Now there is a commission led by Tory peer Lord Sanderson who is expected to introduce rules for challenging and removing a leader.

Annabel Goldie!

The ‘Goldie’ rules are getting put in place because there is no current mechanism for Conservatives to dump their Holyrood boss.

Annabel Goldie took over in 2005 and hasn’t been able to turn the party with three poor election campaigns.

Her track record has raised questions from Tory MSPs and activists who refuse to acknowledge they are the problem not her.

Tory PPC Heather McLeod resigned as a Candidate calling a section of the Party, ‘a nest of vipers’.

Who could replace Annabel Goldie?

Murdo Fraser?

Derek Brownlee?

Jackson Carlaw?

These people are dead weight.

Fraser comes across as a sneering little shit, Brownlee like a school monitor and Carlaw told racist jokes at an election launch.

I am not a Goldie fan but she has earned her place as leader because she has steered the Party through Holyrood with ease and without major incident.

The people behind her think that changing the face at the front will bring success, while that may work if someone has star quality, there isn’t even X Factor dross in the Tory ranks.

She doesn’t have the people, money or ideas to make a successful assault on the electorate.

Instead of stabbing her in the back, they should realise that Annabel Goldie is their best political asset in Scotland.

Yours sincerely

  2. Dear Anon

I am not a Tartan Tory, this is just an example of recognising fair play, nothing else.

Annabel Goldie has done well, if she was crap then I would say so.

    Sorry to disappoint you.

    Yours sincerely
