They are incapable of reforming themselves and don't see any need to reform. As you have said many times, they are devoid of talent, imagination and understanding of the "real" world. All they do is attempt to posture in a way which they think. will get votes. They could do a better job but, to do so, they would have to accept advice from people who know what they are talking about. It never occurs to them to do so and this forces them to rely solely on their own thought processes. That is why they will forever be doomed to empty and misguided posturing. The down side of democracy is that every so often, disasters like the snp will be inflicted upon us. It is, of course our own fault for voting for them in sufficient numbers. Hopefully those who did vote for them will learn a lesson but it may take some time for that to happen. In the meantime, snp hopes for independence, eu membership and lawful and useful legislation are dead. That is precisely what they deserve.

Auld JockAuld Jocknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7972114991869354050.post-71241537180315064472016-07-29T10:23:32.273+01:002016-07-29T10:23:32.273+01:00Totally agree, I'm just surprised that she has...Totally agree, I'm just surprised that she hasn't disregarded the Supreme Court decision on the grounds that it's the UK Supreme Court and not the Scottish Supreme Court.
